Charlie Kirk's assassination marks a pivotal moment that demands our complete attention. This wasn't merely a political killing—it was martyrdom, a spiritual attack against kingdom work that threatens the powers of darkness. For those paying attention, this event reveals something profound about the nature of the battle we face.
The enemy has shown their hand. When analyzing tragic events like this, we must step back from pure emotion and assess the situation tactically. While sorrow and anger are natural responses, they alone don't help us respond effectively. What we're witnessing bears all the hallmarks of organized evil—not simply the actions of a mentally disturbed individual acting alone. This is chess, not checkers, and understanding the adversary's strategy is crucial for our response.
For decades, Christians in the West have permitted moral and faith-based issues to be redefined as merely "political," thereby excusing themselves from addressing them. This spiritual cowardice has neutered the church's effectiveness. Charlie Kirk represented a voice challenging this false dichotomy, advocating for Christian involvement in government and society. His work was threatening precisely because it was kingdom-oriented.
How should believers respond? First, through situational awareness—both spiritual and physical. This means developing discernment to understand what's happening beneath the surface while also being practically prepared. Physical fitness, self-defense training, and tactical awareness aren't contradictions to faith—they're practical expressions of love for those we're called to protect. The good man isn't weak; he's strong but controlled, capable of great harm yet guided by love.
As Mordecai told Esther, perhaps you've been placed here "for such a time as this." Will you be mission-effective? Will your life make a kingdom impact? Don't let emotions override your effectiveness. Pray not just for comfort but for strategy. Train consistently, think tactically, and recognize that while we don't wrestle against flesh and blood, those spiritual forces work through human vessels. The time for merely having meetings is over—the kingdom of God demands action.
Hey everybody, welcome to another Wofo, yo Short. This is C-Dub. I am not sure how short this short is going to be. You paying attention, folks? You should be paying attention. If you weren't paying attention before, you should be paying attention now, unless you've been living under a rock. You know that we had not just a political assassination. We had martyrdom several days ago.
Speaker 1:A lot of people are out there giving their opinion, sharing their feeling and, to be quite honest, when I found out that Charlie Kirk was shot, sure, I said a prayer. I did, but also, looking at impact and immediate thing, I know that it was bad and okay. Charlie Kirk is with the Lord Jesus, plain and simple. A lot of people got emotional. That's a very human thing to do, totally understandable.
Speaker 1:First of all, let me be clear Did I personally know Charlie Kirk? No, did I like a lot of the stuff that he put out? Did I like his message about Christ? Did I like his pro-family message? Yes, what I liked the most was him taking on some sacred cows and tipping them and saying that Christians should be involved in government and have a say in how things are ran, because this is part of kingdom and all your theologians and all that. They're going to stick it. Don't want to hear it because things are different now. So here's the deal Kingdom stuff is a threat. When you do kingdom things, it is a threat. It's a threat to another kingdom Sitting and having meetings, which is really all y'all are doing in church. If you were a business, if you were a military and you were called to be active and you were called to impact the world and all you did was have meetings, that thing would close. And let's be quite honest, a lot of you churches all you're doing is having meetings. Charlie Kirk was out there doing kingdom work. If you hear any background noise, they're working on my heat and AC. That's what you're hearing. So let's get a couple things straight here.
Speaker 1:In our upcoming next two weeks we're going to be talking about and we had no idea this was happening, we recorded that before these events we're going to be talking about your spiritual everyday care, your spiritual EDC. Why? Because you need to be situationally aware. Not too long ago, I posted a short talking about properly assessing the situation. Assessing the situation. So, while everybody else is getting emotional, see, doug took a step back, prayed and you all need to start thinking tactically. You need to start asking what is going on, what's not going on? What am I supposed to be doing? Ask those questions Now that you've had. Oh, some people are feeling sorrow. Some people are feeling okay, yeah, that's perfectly natural, I get it, but that's not solving a thing. Realize the situation that we are in.
Speaker 1:I don't want to hear anything about mental health. I don't want to hear anything about deranged no. So here's the basic facts folks, Evil exists, demons exist and they work through people. Evil exists, it works through people. Good exists, it works through people. Jesus exists and he chooses to work through his people. So when everybody else is sharing their feelings and this is not to make me seem better I'm just a little bit different. I did not know the guy personally, so it did not have the same effect as it would had it been someone who was my own flesh and blood or a good friend. But I stepped back so that I could properly assess what was going on.
Speaker 1:Getting emotional, showing your hand and flying off the handle is not the thing to do. Also, the lovey-dovey let's get along, let's do all this. You pussies can shut up. Pray for people, forgive people, love people, but when you're dealing with evil, sometimes you got to be meaner than the evil. At the minimum, you have to understand how it works and you have to have strategies. So the first thing in process I still had to work when I found this stuff out Just happened to be offside of my normal job and had a break during some training I'm like, oh my, this is going on. And it caused me to get very, very quiet. And on the drive back home, lord, what's going on? And he says this is chess, this is chess. And the enemy showing his hand, he's showing his strategy.
Speaker 1:Old saying can't remember the first time I've heard it. When people show you who they are, you believe them. Old saying can't remember the first time I've heard it. When people show you who they are, you believe them. You're going to find out that there was some level of organization to this. They go oh, we found a lone shooter. Don't believe it.
Speaker 1:There's some other things, if you know what to look for, that makes that scenario highly unlikely. Maybe the fact that you had a couple of news outlets that had post dated that he was shot a day before it happened. You can look at up um, what looks like certain signals by people and the audience close. That caused me. That causes me to question the idea of a lone shooter. That's mentally deranged. No, we're dealing with evil. We're dealing with organized evil. The other thing is there's a guy some people like him, some people don't like him. I have things I like and don't like about him. There's a dude that named chris reed.
Speaker 1:July 30th was given some updates, things to pray for for his church and people that follow in july 30th. So you have a major political assassination coming. It'd be a time of great sorrow. So the other thing that lets me know is God knows God was not caught unaware. So what do you do? See, if this is chess, the way most people, once you become good at chess and this is OCDUB is not. I know what the pieces are supposed to do, I know how it's supposed to move, but the chess masters are thinking five to six moves ahead. They can analyze one move and tell what somebody's going to do, tell what their opponent's most likely going to do. Matter of fact, there's a guy named Patrick Bet-David, a business guy part owner for the Yankees, had some insurance stuff, former airborne guy and he wrote a book a couple years ago called your Next Five Moves talking about how to plan for things had chess pieces on there, so that's the reference.
Speaker 1:We really need to pray, and not for healing, not so we have good feelings emotionally. Pray concerning what is going on. Pray concerning what strategies the enemy is using and what strategies the Lord wants us to use as believers. Here's a trick While some of you are angry, while some of you are heartbroken, I get it and again, because I didn't personally know the guy, it affords me the luxury of detaching. Just being truthful when you get you're heartbroken, make sure that you don't give in to hate. However, also make sure that you're aware of what's going on, because shots were fired. The enemy is showing what they are willing to do and this is not political. Here's one of the great deceptions of our age and because of weak people in the pulpit, we kowtow to that strategy.
Speaker 1:For 60, 70 years, we in the body of Christ here in the West have permitted people to define moral and faith-based issues as political and then, all of a sudden, we don't want to comment on the political. That can be seen as political. Grow a spine. It's a moral issue and if some people want to say that it's political, then ignore all opinions. Their opinion does not count. I hope you all are paying attention.
Speaker 1:Be situationally aware. We're going to be talking about everyday carry EDC you need, when you are out in public, when you are in your house, when you are in your place of worship, be situationally aware. Train, situationally aware, train. Don't go out seeking revenge. Yet at the same time, you make sure you're able to deal with whatever evil would try and harm your family, whatever evil would try and harm your church, family, whatever evil might manifest itself out there to pose a threat. Because we need to know, sure we wrestle, not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, powers, rulers of darkness, this world, spiritual wickedness in high places. That being said, realize that in the immediate here and now, when stuff hits the fan, evil works through human beings Spiritual battle. It is Also be aware of how they act, be aware of how they operate. How do you counteract that? Well, getting you some good training helps Also.
Speaker 1:The other thing is you're not going to agree and find common ground and have your Kumbaya moments. I hope you realize that. Oh, let's come together and let's be this, and maybe we can have some kind of dialogue. Tell that to Charlie Kirk, there are elements and a significant element of people out there that have no interest in dialogue. They have no interest in understanding. They have no interest in understanding. There's some, there's some that do, but you better be fully awake and aware that there are those that don't and if they are going to resort to violence, be trained and how to legally and effectively and without giving in to hate, deal in violence. If they come for your family, you protecting your family. If somebody were to break into your house and you are properly trained and that costs that person or people their lives, that was not hate, that was love for your family.
Speaker 1:You better be paying attention, be situationally aware. What looks out of the ordinary, big events, who's on the roof, who's wearing what, whose behavior, whose motions stand out. Do you have a panoramic view of a situation before you walk into it? I mean, here's some really basic stuff. You sit in a restaurant, sit in the back corner, be facing the door, be aware of primary, secondary, even tertiary. That means you got three options Exits, routes of egress. You better be paying attention. I don't think this is over, and when the Lord starts talking about strategy and the enemy is showing their hand, I would highly recommend. Another way to be situationally aware, to analyze strategies, is to read history. The enemy is revealing their strategy. Therefore, you need to know how to effectively conduct yourself, how to effectively operate, how to optimize the safety and well-being of yourself, your family, your brothers and sisters in Christ. Coworkers, be aware and this is C-Dub's take If you read history, no matter how they label it, this has all the earmarks of communist revolution throughout history.
Speaker 1:Why do you say that? Well, if you read how that operates, this has all the earmarks. It was political, this assassination, but it was also spiritual. It was very much spiritual. You're going to find out. There were certain ideologies, demonic ideologies, that prompted what happened and again, she might be wrong on this I don't think it was isolated. I don't think it was done alone, was done alone. I think there was some level of encouragement and organization and there needs to be accountability. There needs to be accountability.
Speaker 1:I would highly recommend a book called Unhumans by Jack Posobiec and Joshua Lisek, and it is history of communist revolutions. It also no matter how they were rebranded, and it is also an examination into what strategies are effective in putting them down. You're not going to put them down by weakness. You're not going to put them down and combat that ideology effectively by appeasement, by capitulating, by giving ground, not one inch, not a centimeter. Be very aware of what is going on. If you are not praying, you better be, and not just for good feelings and good wishes. You better be praying about strategy, what the Lord is doing, what the enemy is doing and what you need to be doing so that you don't get caught unaware.
Speaker 1:I heard somebody I respect refer to. Charlie. Kirk is a modern-day Stephen who argued effectively, stated the gospel very effectively, and they couldn't resist the wisdom, so they killed him. And there is a day to this. And the thing is that guy knew the risk he did, he was courageous, he went out there and did it anyway. And the thing is that guy knew the risk he did, he was courageous, he went out there and did it anyway.
Speaker 1:But you also need to be aware of what can happen. It'd be quicker to read something about it, but I would highly examine what you should be doing as far as everyday carry Things you should have on you, things you should have in your vehicle, things you should have in your house and be prayed up, be listening, because guess what? If the Lord let certain people know that, hey, there was going to be a major political assassination soon and this was less than a month and a half ago you'll be surprised what the Lord will let you know that. You need to know how you can. You know the best. If you know you're going to be a target, if somebody has harm planned for you, the best thing you can do is not be there. You can avoid the situation altogether. Let them folks stew and be mad, but this is organized. This is evil and demonic and you better be prayed up and know what you're dealing with to keep yourself and to keep those you love safe. Keep yourself safe spiritually, get in the word, keep yourself safe emotionally and mentally. Don't get glued into that stupid phone. Don't be addicted to your television. Be prepared, be able to protect yourself physically.
Speaker 1:And before we even talk about concealed carry and firearms although I mentioned that, first things first. How about getting off the stupid couch? How about going for a walk so that if you got to go somewhere, you're not winded? Week and a half ago you had some girl get stabbed over in Charlotte, north Carolina. Some girl gets stabbed over in Charlotte, north Carolina Because people that were supposed to be locked up out of all this compassion. This is why this ideology is evil. You want to mask it as compassion. That's not compassion. And what you all don't realize? It is well-funded, it is organized, it is calculated and everybody wants to fly up in the arms. Take a step back, detach, pray, but being able to defend yourself physically, man, go for a walk. If it starts out by just going for a walk, go for a walk.
Speaker 1:Predators and predatory people look for the weakest target. They can Don't be that weak target. Take care of yourself physically. Go to a gym. Most gyms that I know of I belong to two, one's six or seven miles down the road, but the other, anywhere I travel, they have one of those there and I'm not all roided up. I don't have muscles ripping through my arms. That's not impossible, but it is lessened significantly by just having some physical presence. In certain situations they call that command presence, officer presence in law enforcement, command presence in military.
Speaker 1:Be able to take care of yourself. I remember going to church and you had some people that mean well, I don't think they're the smartest people in the world when I was having this conversation, but I'm just looking at them this guy's talking about. I got this and he has all these weapons all rigged out and so fat and out of shape. If he had to run somewhere to get him, he's going to be out of breath, he ain't going to be able to focus, he's not going to be able to utilize any weapons. You know he's preparing for zombie apocalypse, yet you're eating tater chips, man. Oh, my joints hurt, oh my back hurts. All this and that, yeah, you're carrying around 60 pounds extra weight. Take care of yourself, folks, and I'm not being judgmental, I'm not trying to throw shade necessarily, but I'm speaking from experience. Three years ago, c-dub was 307 pounds. Go look at some of the early, early videos. When we started, wofoyo Got an extra chin folks.
Speaker 1:And guess what? Having to do things physically, you get winded, you get tired. I've had family members that I deeply love and I deeply respect, that I've watched give up on life, sit around and waste away, and that ain't happening, not with me. There's better ways to go than sit on a couch, eat yourself to death and watch Fox News or MSNBC on the other spectrum. Get out there, be active. You know what. You know what's good exercise, and I've seen folks that were bigger even. Do this man. Sign up for a legit martial arts class. Learn some self-defense and do it with your kids. I am super proud of my oldest. He's got his purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. But not only is he doing it, but he's teaching his kids. You know what that means. It's not only is my son definitely is not an easy target, but that means as my grandkids grow, my grandkids aren't an easy target.
Speaker 1:Evil is out there, violence is out there and you can blame mental health and all this stuff and you're spiritually dumb. It's time we start calling this stuff what it is it is evil and damn the opinions. It is evil. Here's the opinions. It is evil. Here's the thing If you call something demonic, then people want to demonize you Just to make sure that you're accurately assessing it. Oh, they're mentally ill. That's a mental health problem. No, it's demonic. There are some telltale signs. One of these days we'll have to get into that. I think we probably discussed that before.
Speaker 1:Learn how to assess what's going on. Learn how to shoot firearms properly. Train how to shoot firearms we live in the United States. If you are not a convicted felon, you should have access. Train how to shoot firearms. We live in the United States. If you are not a convicted felon, you should have access to a firearm legally. You might have to jump through more hoops in certain states to get them, but buy yourself a firearm, learn how to use a knife, learn how to defend yourself and train, train, train.
Speaker 1:And here's what a lot of people won't tell you about that oh, you're training for violence. You're doggone, right. We're training for violence Because it's been demonstrated, the adversary is willing to use violence against the body of Christ. Therefore, we should be trained in violence. The good man is not the weak man. That's no threat to anybody. The good man is the one who's capable of doing great harm, yet keeps it all under check because of the love of God.
Speaker 1:I would also encourage you to develop the mindset is that in Ecclesiastes, there's a time and season for everything. There's a time for peace, there's a time for peace, there's a time for war and a lot of times that's going to be driven by what the enemy's doing. But I will say this be proactive, be proactive, be aware, watch your six, trust in the Lord, but also train. We have the idea that the Lord's going to do everything for us and he's doing stuff for us, but he wants us to cooperate. He wants us to be vessels for his kingdom. There's things that the Lord wants done and here in America we have been doing a piss poor job of being useful vessels.
Speaker 1:Here, in this forward wall church dynamic that we get into, where we are going to have church every Sunday, what are you doing? Where are you making an impact? When you die, will you be missed? What impact are you making If your church shut down? God forbid. You know, something happened, man. You got crazies all out there. You got evil out there.
Speaker 1:Yes, forgive, but also function and execute. Don't do it with hate. For some of y'all that's easier than others. I will give you my experience the more you train, the easier it is to detach from the situation and execute without being hateful, without letting your emotions override what you have to do physically or spiritually. I told you this wasn't very short, short, but people, please be aware things have changed. If you weren't paying attention before, please pay attention now.
Speaker 1:Pray about what the Lord would have you trained to do. Be kingdom effective. Be mission effective. We're not dealing with isolated incidents. We're not dealing with isolated incidents. We're not dealing with mental health issues, although I think it's very, I think it's a very good idea to start looking into what drugs everybody's on that starts resorting to this, but there are ideologies that are evil in their nature and they animate people to do bad things, and if you are not aware, then you can be the target because you look like easy pickings. And that being said, I'm just going to end with this. I'm going to just going to challenge you with what Mordecai told Esther. Who knows, maybe you've been put here for such a time as this. Don't give in to hate. Don't let your emotions cause you to be mission ineffective. Pray, get in the word for yourself, go out there and function. Wofo yo Charlie Kirk.
