John doesn’t try to impress anyone, and that’s exactly why his words land. We sit down with 1 John and let it speak in its own plain, weighty voice: "what we’ve seen, what we’ve heard, what we’ve touched concerning the Word of Life." Instead of a long list of religious tasks, John pulls us into fellowship with the Father and the Son and then draws a bright line between light and darkness.

We talk through why the Epistles of John feel so different from Paul’s letters, and why that “keep it simple” approach is often what believers need most. John says it without fluff: God is light, we’re not sinless, and pretending only traps us. Confession is not weakness; it’s where cleansing and joy start. From there we move into what real Christian discipleship looks like when it grows up: obedience that matches our confession, love that proves we’re in the light, and a life that actually changes.

Then we tackle some of the most debated and practical moments in 1 John 2: “do not love the world” reduced to the lusts of the flesh, eyes, and pride, and the reminder that believers have an Anointing from the Holy One. We share why that matters for Bible reading, spiritual confidence, and refusing deception. Finally, we face John’s warning about antichrist and what it means to deny the Son, connecting it to how manipulation works in culture when people are encouraged to throw off restraint and then abandoned when consequences hit.

Casserole Sponsor Cold Open

SPEAKER_03

This portion of our program has been brought to you by Casserole. It's a special Sunday. Everyone is putting their best foot forward. Pews are full of grumbling stomachs that can't wait for the altar call and benediction. The smell coming up from the fellowship hall is overwhelming. Folding table after folding table is filled with casserole. That's right, one healthy scoop of casserole has enough calories to live on for an entire week, and it tastes oh so good. So remember, for all your potluck needs, it ain't really Baptist if it ain't casserole. We were talking about identity, and then we were kind of comparing and contrasting how that identity and what Jesus did in changing that identity, the difference between Peter and Paul. And there's there's some similarities, there's some differences, and one of the things that stood out as I was getting in the word for myself this week was I was reading the letters of John, the epistles of John, first, second, and third John. And man, just like the Gospel of John looks different than the other gospels, but yet it gels. They reflect the nature of that relationship. And they look different than Paul's epistles. They look different than Peter's, or they definitely look different from Jude's. Jude's like, you got it all coming. You don't know what you're doing, you ain't got a clue, and you're just the Lord's gonna get you. Sooner or later, gotta be down. That's Jude's epistle.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

So make sure you're doing it right. James has a different style. This is C Dove's opinion. Don't you you form your own. One of the reasons that I believe that the Hebrews has a different writer is there are some stylistic differences between that and a lot of Paul's epistles.

unknown

Yeah.

First John Opens With Witness

SPEAKER_03

But they were definitely contemporaries. But but but you can see as you as you read these letters, as you read these instructions to the different churches or members of the church, which was kind of passed out. You know, Peter recommended that Paul's epistles be sent out to all the churches. He said, some of them are going to be hard for you to understand. But at the end of either 1 or 2 Peter, he's recommending, I believe it's 2 Peter, he's recommending that the churches that that he's that he's interacting with and even overseeing at times, that you read Paul's. He said he's got some things. And we know Peter and John work together. We're just going to get in and start maybe some comparing and contrasting with the epistles of John. We're just going to start reading 1 John 1. We might stop, get into a discussion. We might stretch this out over more than one episode. We'll just see how it goes. So let's get into 1 John. I'm going to tell you, one of the first things that jumped out, though, is where Paul's talking about the revelation and Paul's giving instructions and all this. John is keeping it so simple. Yeah. John is keeping it about relationship. Pure and simple. That's one of the reasons I love these. First John 1:1. What was from the beginning, what we have heard, what we have seen with our eyes, what we have looked at and touched with our hands concerning the word of life. And the life was revealed, and we have seen and testify and proclaim to you the eternal life which was with the Father and was revealed to us. What we have seen and heard we proclaim to you also, so that you too may have fellowship with us. And indeed, our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son, Jesus Christ. These things we write so that our joy, these things we write, so that our joy may be made complete. Verse 5. This is the message we have heard from him and announced to you, that God is light, and in him there is no darkness at all. So you see the comparison with the Gospel of John chapter 1 right here. If we say that we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous, so that he will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us. That's John, first John chapter one. A couple things stand out right off the bat. What set of instructions is he giving? What kind of definitions is he breaking down? How technical is John getting here? He ain't.

SPEAKER_00

That which was from the beginning, which we have heard. And John chapter 1, verse 1, uh, in the beginning was the word. And the word was with God, and the word was God, or word is God. I like how he takes everything back to the beginning. He just says, Let's just start at the beginning of things. But you're right. He's not giving uh he's not giving a uh laundry list of things, he's not getting overly technical. He's just really talking about there's God, and then there's us, and there is sin that divides us, and it needs to be dealt with. And Jesus is the way it was dealt with. Jesus, Jesus is you either this really this first chapter is really simply about salvation. You're either saved or you're not. And if you say you have no need for salvation, you're wrong.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. One of the other things that really stands out. You know, Paul talks about he was this, we have this testimony and this and this, and then lastly, as one who was born out of time, he was seen by John and Peter. John's simply going, This is what we know. This is what we've experienced, this is what we've touched with our hands, this is what our eyes have seen, this is the word of life. It was revealed to us, and we're proclaiming it to you so that we can all be in this thing together and co-working with the Lord. Um and he's right back as you said, Jesus is the light, he's the word, he's the light. But he's just coming, he's like, you know, I'm not I'm not trying to come with any great revelation, although you know, he wrote the book of Revelation. I'm not trying to come with some big new thing. We're just shoring you up and telling you about what we've experienced ourselves.

SPEAKER_00

I see I I kind of uh kind of imagine John is uh a great grandfather now. You know, he's a he's a man with uh a lot of experience, a lot of wisdom, uh, and of little words. Um because his words are very weighty. He doesn't have to use a lot of words. Um, you know, when you're young and in your youth, you have a tendency to uh to talk a lot because you think the more you talk, well, the smarter you you sound, the more intelligent you sound, and the more likely are you to the more likely you are to talk somebody into something and make them believe you. But um older people don't talk like that. Grandpa don't talk like that, great grandpa don't talk like that. So I I get I kind of get this uh vision of John as kind of the the great-grandpa of the disciples here, if you if you would. Yep.

Salvation And Confession Made Plain

SPEAKER_03

You know that little thing on top of chicken stuff. That's chicken. Chicken stuff too. That's how they talk. Yeah. I'm uh you know, since you uh wrote this passage in the book and wrote on this, if you don't mind, I'm gonna let you read from uh 2.1 down about 214.

SPEAKER_00

My dear children, I write this to you so that you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have one who speaks to the Father in our defense, Jesus Christ, the righteous one. He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for our sins, but also for the sins of the whole world. We know that we have come to know him if we obey his commands. The man who says, I know him, but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But if anyone obeys his word, God's love is truly made complete in him. This is how we know we're in him. Whoever claims to live in him must walk as Jesus did. Dear friends, I'm not writing you a new command, but an old one, which you have had since the beginning. The old command is the message you've heard, yet I'm writing you a new command, its truth is seen in him and in you, because the darkness is passing, and true light is already shining. Anyone who claims to be in the light, but hates his brother, is still in the darkness. Whoever loves his brother lives in the light, and there is nothing in him to make him stumble. But whoever hates his brother is in the darkness and walks around in the dark. He does not know where he's going, because the darkness has blinded him. I write to you, dear children, because your sins have been forgiven on account of his name, and I write to you, fathers, because you have known him who is from the beginning, and I write to you, young men, because you've overcome the evil one. I write to you, dear children, because you have known the Father, and I write to you, fathers, because you have known him who is from the beginning. I write to you, young men, because you are strong, and the word of God lives in you, and you have overcome the evil one. He done a lot of writing.

SPEAKER_03

He did, but but like you said, he's like a grandfather or great grandfather is coming in. One of the things you pointed out in the book is every one of us is at some stage of our growth in Christ. And it's important to be aware and acknowledge where we are, it's going to affect our outlook and how we're approaching things in this walk with Jesus. One of the things that really stood out when I was reading this uh earlier uh yesterday is that I'm not writing you a new commandment, but an old commandment that you've had from the beginning. The old commandment which you have heard. On the other hand, I'm right, I am writing a new commandment to you, which is true in him and you, because the darkness is passing in the way and the true light is already shining. And basically the commandment is to love. He said, Well, it it's new, but as far as all the specifics, you already know this stuff. Right. How did you say it in your notes when we were talking about forgiving? This is entry-level. Entry-level Christianity. Yeah. And yeah, I just love that John isn't breaking things down. He's not giving anybody nine gifts of the Spirit, he's not giving anybody nine fruits of the spirit, he's not giving anybody all this deep, deep knowledge, although that does come later in a different book. But to encourage growth, he's simply saying, You already know the commandments, you need to obey. And there's the new commandment, always make sure you're loving one another.

SPEAKER_00

He says, Whoever claims to live in him must walk as Jesus did. In our Bible study that my wife and I are in right now, we're we're talking about and learning about the attributes of God and everything. And our last thing that we covered this past week was uh the power of God. And it sounds kind of you know, kind of silly, or you know, how do you talk about the power of God? Well, we covered it pretty good. I think one thing we we mentioned, or we got to studying and learning about the power of God is when it says here, you must walk as Jesus did. How did Jesus walk? Jesus walked in power, and in love, and in love. That power and love, they they go together. Um, one of the attributes of God's power is, and that God's power is is in you or in us, is the fact that we are no longer doing what we used to do. That that the evidence of God's power is the change in the believer. And that's kind of what that's kind of what John's saying here. If you're saved like you say you're saved, and a person says they are saved, like they, you know, if they're saved, like they say they're saved, um, you'll see God's power in them. You'll see God's power starting to work and regenerate uh their their lives and all these things. But if they're not regenerated, if there's no change happening and they're the same old man and they're still doing the same things, then there was no salvation. That stuff didn't happen. Um, there may have been something else going on, but it's the it's the power of God that takes hold of the new believer, and that's one of the ways you know that uh the Spirit of God is alive in that person. I just thought that was interesting that here we are learning about the power of God and how how God is alive in us now as as as we're becom as we're saved and everything. And John is touching this and saying, it's just real simple. Uh, if you're if you're saved, then you're being changed. Yeah. And people should see that.

Walking Like Jesus Means Love

SPEAKER_03

What I love here in power and love, since we're doing a little bit of comparison, you know, Paul lists the gifts of the Spirit over in 1 Corinthians 12. What does he do in 1 Corinthians 13? At the end of 1 Corinthians 12, he's saying this is all by the same spirit. But then he says, I'll show you more excellent way. And then, you know, those numbers weren't there originally. It's just a letter. Right. But at 1 Corinthians 13, he said, if I can do all this stuff, if I can prophesy, if I have tongues, if I do this, I speak with the tongue of men of angels. I don't have love. I'm a sounding brass and clinging symbol. I can give everything I got, I can give my body to be burned. None of it profits me if I don't have love. So this power, and Paul worked, Paul definitely walked in the power of the Lord. But he was also walking in the love of the Lord. Same with John. Right.

SPEAKER_01

Right.

SPEAKER_03

You know, same with Peter. They were walking in the love of the Lord. Did it mean that they couldn't correct each other or anything? No, they they did correct one another. But down here in the Booth Hill area, you know, one of the bigger things in this, it kind of goes across the state, uh, to a to a degree. But you got you got current river, man. You get in current river, and there's some times it can get gnarly.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Especially after big rain. But on Current River, you go in and manual keep on going, and times it'll get it'll get right. At a lot of times you can just paddle over, tube on over, do whatever, over to the side, and get on the bank. Right. There's a couple places you can't. Uh almost died in one of those places. Not fun. Never felt more alive. But we got out of it. But but it's like that though. So sometimes you can you can be in the stream of God's love and and walking in that power and walking in in his intent, and then you can just if you're not paying attention, you can kind of drift to the bank. And and one of the reasons we keep each other accountable is to keep each other in the stream. Right.

unknown

Right.

SPEAKER_03

You know, you know, well, what is this not sinning look like? Not being of the world. Do not love the world, nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the boastful pride of life is not from the Father, but is from the world. The world is passing away, and also its lust. But the one who does the will of God continues to live forever. So one of the things he's talking about in overcoming the evil one and knowing that the word's been been with you in the beginning, is that if you really want to start separating this, we don't have to have a bunch of commandments. But the the world, the things of the world, is pretty much lust of the flesh or the desires of the flesh, the desires of the eyes, and the and the pride of life. Yeah. Okay, are you acting or are you operating in one of these? Is this having more influence than God's influence on your life? All right, well, that's from the world, that's from the evil one.

SPEAKER_01

Are you walking in love? Okay, that's from the Father. Yeah, God's keeping it so simple. Very simple, very simple.

SPEAKER_00

And it's weird too. Um, he's keeping it so simple, but yet this is probably one of the least preached parts of the Bible uh that we'll find in in churches today. We'll preach the hell out of Paul, though. Uh, and and I'm not saying not to preach Paul, that's not what I'm saying. Because human nature does love structure, human nature loves the structure, they love those lists of things of this is how you can tell uh when you're saved, uh, this is the fruit of the spirit. By exhibiting these things, you know you have the spirit. So, you know, our human nature loves those things. So, so so I get it. Um but I think you'll find as you get older in life, you'll appreciate the simplicity of things. And I think that's why John is just so so wonderful to a lot of us, is that we've got to that point in our lives like, man, it's just it's just nice to be able to read something, not have it over-defined, um, and not have it, you know, uh spelled out so so much, not take me an hour to read something that I can I can understand in in 10 minutes. Um it's nice to have something simplified. Um and I'll go back to verses 12 through 14. I should have said this a while ago. When he's writing to the children, writing to the fathers, and writing to the young men, he's he's breaking these things down into three different groups of uh people. Um, but he's still writing the letters are still the same, but he's he I think he's writing to the spirit, and he's saying, you know, he's writing to these children uh because your sins have been forgiven. What he's saying is, I'm writing to you babes in Christ because you're just happy that you've been saved. You know, and I'm writing to you fathers in such a way because you've known him who's from the beginning. He says, I'm writing to you fathers, you old men, because you can appreciate the relationship that you've had over the years with him. And he says, and I'm writing to you young men because you've overcome the evil ones. So I'm writing to you young men, those uh those military-age men, those those men in between the babes and the old men who are who are fighting, doing the spiritual warfare. So I'm writing to you, you know. Um, so John recognizes that there's there's certain, I don't say classes, but there's some there's some uh different phases, yeah. Stages, yeah. Um so I can appreciate that. So I because I can see myself in those phases from time to time.

SPEAKER_03

And John at this point in his life has been in all three.

SPEAKER_00

Amen. Amen.

The World’s Three Main Lures

SPEAKER_03

You you know, you were talking about about the simplicity of it. It it was a bringing to mind there was a movie came out, an 80s movie called Short Circuit. Yeah, and they it's just Robot. Robot gets struck by lightning or something like that. And now it's kind of developing a different train of thought and all this and developing consciousness. And they give it the old Rorschach test. Hey, what is this? This is da da da da da ink. It is, and it starts giving the molecular breakdown of the ink. Resembles a butterfly. Rhesembles this, and it, you know, as as this as he's learning, because they're they're kind of suspicious that he's developing this conscience. But it also reminds me of watching some of these documentaries on the national parks, which I just absolutely love. And I could give you two right off the bat. And I think I've seen one where the expert says it, and you know, he's talking about the geology of Yosemite and El Capitan and Half Dome and what had to happen and all that. And then there's another one where they're talking about all the volcanic activity and the geothermal activity that's going on under Yellowstone and what that produces and all that. But there was one of these interviews, and one of them goes, but you know, all that aside, it's just damn beautiful. Yeah. You know, amen. You know, but beside it, don't get me wrong, all that other stuff is impressive. Yep. As you get out there, but there's a part of you that's that God puts in there. I'll I'll just say it, that that will admire the creation just because it's God's creation. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

All that other stuff becomes white noise.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

It just becomes noise in the background that will distract you from, like you said, from seeing God as the creator of this magnificent and beautiful thing. So, yeah, I like that. That's a that's a really good analogy. Yeah, other than that, it's just damn beautiful. Would you just shut up and let me look at this? Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

It's great that you understand the processes by which it's created, but the the fact that the even that's a guess. Well, a lot of times it is. Yeah. You're using the best techniques. But here's the thing you know, uh, I'm a firm believer. If you read the creation account, no matter how you read the creation account, God has a divine order to things. But you shouldn't get so bogged down in the divine order that you fail to appreciate the beauty, right? Conversely, you shouldn't be all, oh, look how pretty it is, and end up messing with it because you fail to understand God's divine order. Yeah. And I can tell you, I've been on both sides of that. Oh, well, if we're we're if we got that much grace and we can do this and this and this, and you're about to find out, you know, oh, I can do this, I'm living by faith until you max your credit card out. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

What what was that commercial commercial in the 80s? Don't mess with Mother Nature. Yeah. Oh, yeah, yeah. Yeah, that's and that that's kind of the thing. You know, you're you're you're you're picking and and everything, but uh don't don't forget that there's an almighty God that's uh that that's that's that's in charge of all of that. Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Well one of my other favorite ones is don't mess with Sasquatch, man.

SPEAKER_00

I like I like the Sasquatch commercials. Oh yeah. And so what do you think, Bigfoot? Uh my name's Daryl.

The Anointing And Reading With Confidence

SPEAKER_03

Oh man. Well TV and commercials, I tell you. Oh, oh yeah. Not very helpful, but uh but we'll get back on TV commercials here in a second. Verse 18. Keep it simple. First John 2, 18. Children, it is the last hour, and just as you heard that Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have appeared, and from this we know that this is the last hour. They went out from us, but we're not really of us. For if they had been of us, then they would have remained with us, but they went out so that it would be evident that they all are not of us. But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you all know. But King James says, unction. I have not written to you because you do not know the truth, but because you do know it, and because no lie is of the truth. Who is the liar except the one who denies it? Jesus is the Christ. This is the Antichrist, the one who denies the Father and the Son. Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father. The one who confesses the Son has the Father also. As for you, see that what you heard from the beginning remains in you. If what you heard from the beginning remains in you, you also will remain in the Son and in the Father. This is the promise which He Himself has made to us, eternal life. These things I have written to you concerning those who are trying to deceive you. And as for you, the anointing which you received from him remains in you, and you have no need for anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about all things, and is true and is not a lie, and just as it is taught you, you remain in him. Now my little children remain in him, so that when he appears we may have confidence and not draw back in him in shame at his coming. You know that he is righteous, you know that everyone who practice righteousness also has been born of him. That right there, one of the things I love about this, he said, You already know. You know, and and here's where your opposition is coming from. Here's what to be on the lookout for. But you have the Holy Spirit, you have the anointing of God. And if you're if you're staying faithful, he's going to teach you. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Yep. You you you have the Holy Spirit in you. You have the ability within you to learn. And I love the verse, I love the scripture here, especially when I hear people say, Oh, I just I just don't feel like I, you know, I I don't read the Bible very much because I just can't, I don't get it. I can't get it. I don't I need someone to explain it to me. I'm like, no, you don't. You really don't. No. Um you if you're saved, we gotta we gotta make sure you're saved first. But there are some legitimate Christians who struggle with the notion that that they need to be taught, that someone that they need to have someone, some Sunday school teacher, some preacher, so you know, someone teaching them, they lack the Christian self-esteem to read the Bible and believe what it's saying to them. Uh they they want to take it and then run to somebody and have that confirmation. Um, but the Bible says you don't have to have that. The Holy Spirit is telling you, and what you're hearing is right, trust it.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. Well, the one one of the things I I would just point out, and this has been our experience, but believe it or not, it just kind of stuck out just now, is as for you, the anointing which you received from him remains in you. So he's talking about the Holy Spirit. And one of the you and I both had the same experience that when we received the baptism, now we received the Holy Spirit when we were born again. Right. But when it might have looked a little bit differently for both of us is is how we went about. I just asked, prayed a prayer and asked, and all of a sudden the word starts coming alive, and you're just like, wow. And I and I know, you know, however you went about receiving the Holy Spirit, I I know the word started jumping off the pages at you too. Um, but this is one of those things that uh the anointing of the Holy Spirit, it will teach you. And there are a lot of people that hate this passage of scripture. Brother, you're taking that out of context. And you know, I've been hearing that ever since 2002, and the hell I am. That's exactly what that means, is you do not have need of anybody to teach you. If you've received the infilling and the and especially the baptism of the Holy Spirit, yeah, it's not saying you're going to get it all at once. It doesn't say that there isn't benefit in fellowship and and even instruction from your brothers and sisters in Christ.

SPEAKER_00

How is it you can take other scripture at face value, but you can't take that one at face value. Um, but you're right, there's conditions there on it. As you have received the anointing, so you you have to you have to been anointed, you have to receive the Holy Spirit. Uh yeah, you're right. There's folks that oh no, like Kylo Wren uh in Star Wars, you know, you need a teacher. Yeah, no, you don't need a teacher. I mean, it now there's nothing wrong with being a student of a of a Bible study or a Sunday school and stuff like that, but but don't you that's not required. Don't believe that you know, you're you're just as much of a teacher as they are.

SPEAKER_03

Uh Paul Paul cautioned against going out and seeking get a whole bunch of teachers for yourselves.

SPEAKER_02

Mm-hmm.

Antichrist Talk And Denying The Son

SPEAKER_03

He he cautions against that. And as much as people want to talk structure, structure, structure, again, there is a divine order. As much as people want to talk structure, structure, structure, it will never, and I repeat, never take the place of that relationship you have with Jesus Christ, of that relationship you have by getting instructed by the Holy Spirit in the Word of God. It here's one of the interesting things that had I not read some just extra commentary, different history and different things, because I have a curious mind. Over at this time, there's some Greek tradition, uh, the the Zoroastrians over in Persia, um, even some of the people over in India, there, some of the Native American religions that were over there at that time. They all say that even though they might have had a pantheon of gods, that it all started with one creator, and that the world was created through the word. So he's going, who who's the who's the Antichrist? Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father. He it's he who denies the Father and the Son. And the one of the things that that that talks about is that the even with these other religions that were around, they're saying that it all originated with one supreme being that all these other little g gods, you know, came from. But the world was created through his word, just like John says in the Gospel of John. This isn't somebody to be evangelized. This is not somebody to be, it's not somebody that found a sound principle, said they don't even recognize the word. They don't even recognize that uh there ain't no son, there ain't no word dealing with seekers that got it wrong. Right. Although they were trying, you're dealing with a very hardened heart when you're dealing with someone that denies the son. Right. Who's the antichrist, the one who denies the father and the son? Yeah. Who who denies the son or who denies the word does not have the father. The one who confesses the word, the one who confesses the son has the father also.

I think we do horribly at recognizing just how weighty that is to deny the the sun. When we look around in our society and we see uh atheists uh or or folks who believe in other religions and stuff like that, the notion of denying the son, now that I'm I'm a Christian and I look at it and I said, man, well, even before I was saved, even before I was saved, I believed, I believed that there was a Jesus. Matter of fact, if you told me that Jesus wasn't a son of God, I I'd just as I'd just assume punch you in the mouth than than than anything. Obviously, I wasn't saved because that's not very loving. Um but because all of creation screams of a creator, uh, because nature itself tells us that there's a God, um, and our own spirit inside of us is telling us that there is a God. To deny that God and deny his son, that's a very, very weighty, weighty statement. Well, when folks say, Wow, I'm an atheist. Oh, son, you just you don't know what you're saying. That's um that's a lot heavier than what you think it is. It's not just a flippant statement statement to make, it it's it's horrible.

SPEAKER_03

It's actually a self-destructive statement.

SPEAKER_00

It is, and we've become desensitized to it here in in the church, I do believe.

SPEAKER_03

One of the things that always gets me is you know, we were talking about God's divine order. And okay, you don't believe in a creator. If there's no creator, then why don't you just jump off a building? Because if there's no creator, there's no rules, there's no laws. There is a law, it's called gravity, and that's going to cause you to hit no matter what you jump off. So here's the thing. Well, what what's the law? But it's a lot of these same folks. Well, this is physics, and this is this. So what what physics is an explanation of God's laws concerning different things, concerning movement, concerning mass, concerning, and you and you're finding out that it all goes back to where everything's created from light.

SPEAKER_00

The fact that you've identified it as a law implies that there's a judge.

SPEAKER_01

So there you go. Who's the judge?

Predatory Evil And The Snake Story

SPEAKER_00

The Lord God Almighty.

SPEAKER_03

Talk about evil people here for a second, and especially evil predatory people. One of the things that I've noticed is that there is a special breed of evil person that where they get their kicks, and this is this is about as close to the devil as you can get, is they will encourage others to throw off restraint only to relish at the consequences of people throwing off restraint. You talked them into it. You got off on the fact that you talked them into it, and now you're relishing in the fact that they are having to face the consequences of what you talked them into, and you're well, hey, I didn't know it. No. I I'll tell you some of the ones that that used to these are more turds than than evil, but it's like the old Barracks lawyer. They can't do that, they can't do that. Hey, you know they can't do that, right? And somebody somebody get Article 15 because they took your dumb advice and and you think it's cute. Yeah. Well, hey, we have a little wall-to-wall counseling over that one. But yeah, already got me one article 15. Let's go for another. Uh might as well make it an article 30. Yeah. No, but uh drug dealers, big time. You see that a lot, man. Yeah. Hey, I didn't know blah blah blah. I didn't make you do no, but you you persuaded them into it, you know. I see a lot of that today. Yeah. There's a lot of that antichrist spirit of you can do whatever you want. It's okay. It's matter of fact, it should be celebrate. They should be celebrating you because you're violating God's law. And you see the hatred that comes, take let's take a what was a super hot button issue four years ago. You take the transgenders. Well, now there's people detransitioning and successfully suing the medical establishment. And for for a multitude of reasons, um, you know, you got Big Pharma making tons of money because you got patients for life. Uh, you got a whole bunch of different um media groups pushing this because there there was money to be made. Um there's some billionaires. Matter of fact, the governor of Illinois, his cousin, is one of the big funders of all that. It looks just like the governor and drag. It's bad. You got all these people pushing it, and you let somebody break either break free of that or express regret, even if they just express regret, they'll either deny responsibility for pushing that on them, or they'll come after them and try and kill them.

SPEAKER_01

Right.

SPEAKER_00

It it goes all the way back to the garden. Um it's the same thing the serpent was doing in the garden. Uh God didn't really say that, did he? Come on. Yeah, did God really say? Did he really say that? You can do this. Um, I heard an analogy, heard it put like this, and I I really like it. Little boy walking down a sidewalk, sees a little snake. So the snake calls out to him, says, Help me, pick me up, I'm hurt. And the little boy says, Oh, no, you're a snake, you'll you'll bite me. He goes, No, no. He says, You're right, I'm a snake, but but uh but I'm hurt and I need you to pick me up. He said, Well, you're you'll bite me. No, why would I bite you? I'm hurt and I need your help. So the little boy picks up the snake, and the snake bites him. The boy drops him and says, Hey, you said you wouldn't bite me. He says, Yeah, but you knew I was a snake when you picked me up. And that is such a great analogy of how things work in our society. Um, you did something that you knew you shouldn't do, um, and it bit you. Uh, and then whatever bit you isn't gonna take responsibility in the first place because, well, you knew you shouldn't have done it. Yeah, uh, so yeah, there's always someone pulling the strings. There's always a marionette somewhere.

SPEAKER_03

Oh, yeah. Cab Callaway made a song of it. It's a heck of a song. Take me in, pretty woman. Take me in, for goodness sake. Take me in, pretty woman. Take me in, said the snake.

SPEAKER_00

Get new eyes of snake when you picked up.
