In this episode, Danni Viera, BSN, RN, CWCN, discusses the challenges she encountered during her transition from expert clinician to nursing faculty.
Danni Viera is a board member of the National Association of Hispanic Nurses Central Florida Chapter and nurse of eight years. Danni has had diverse nursing experiences that include hospice, spinal cord injury, med-surg, wound care, ICU, mental health, and adjunct clinical instructor. She is passionate about health equity, climate justice, ethics in health care and health care worker’s rights. When she is not working or engaging in advocacy work with NAHN Central Florida, she enjoys long walks with her dog and spending time by the water.
