I"},{"startTime":1023.98,"endTime":1028.24,"body":"want to avoid doing that."},{"startTime":1028.88,"endTime":1031.96,"body":"Unfortunately, sometimes"},{"startTime":1028.88,"endTime":1031.96,"body":"I did not make it."},{"startTime":1032.88,"endTime":1037.5,"body":"And I said things or I did things"},{"startTime":1032.88,"endTime":1037.5,"body":"in a way that didn't make matters"},{"startTime":1038.4,"endTime":1042.46,"body":"easier for people. How that"},{"startTime":1078.26,"endTime":1082.4,"body":"son Austin passed away."},{"startTime":1083.04,"endTime":1087.66,"body":"What I didn't know when I talked"},{"startTime":1083.04,"endTime":1087.66,"body":"to Troy was that was not the end"},{"startTime":1088.48,"endTime":1093.4,"body":"of their difficulties. Just"},{"startTime":1088.48,"endTime":1093.4,"body":"a while later, his wife,"},{"startTime":1093.5,"endTime":1094.333,"body":"Deedra,"},{"startTime":1094.76,"endTime":1099.62,"body":"was in a head-on collision with a drunk"},{"startTime":1094.76,"endTime":1099.62,"body":"driver driving the wrong way on the"},{"startTime":1099.66,"endTime":1102.52,"body":"freeway. During surgery to help her,"},{"startTime":1103.14,"endTime":1105.68,"body":"doctors actually punctured her bowel,"},{"startTime":1106.66,"endTime":1111.18,"body":"giving her now years of difficulty"},{"startTime":1106.66,"endTime":1111.18,"body":"and problem that she is still"},{"startTime":1111.52,"endTime":1113.98,"body":"dealing with to this day."},{"startTime":1115.04,"endTime":1119.66,"body":"I'm quoting from now a further Elder"},{"startTime":1115.04,"endTime":1119.66,"body":"Holland talk where he talked again about"},{"startTime":1119.68,"endTime":1123.64,"body":"this incredible family. Here they are,"},{"startTime":1124.28,"endTime":1127.24,"body":"faithful. Definitely have"},{"startTime":1124.28,"endTime":1127.24,"body":"had their rough times."},{"startTime":1127.72,"endTime":1132.24,"body":"They've had dark days offering"},{"startTime":1127.72,"endTime":1132.24,"body":"forgiveness to the driver,"},{"startTime":1132.96,"endTime":1137.1,"body":"but still having to day"},{"startTime":1132.96,"endTime":1137.1,"body":"in and day out deal with"},{"startTime":1137.92,"endTime":1142.32,"body":"medical problems. And then of course,"},{"startTime":1137.92,"endTime":1142.32,"body":"the grief of the son that they lost."},{"startTime":1143.38,"endTime":1146.62,"body":"This is something Elder Holland said"},{"startTime":1143.38,"endTime":1146.62,"body":"right at the end of this devotional."},{"startTime":1147.16,"endTime":1149.94,"body":"He says, \"In moments"},{"startTime":1147.16,"endTime":1149.94,"body":"of suffering and pain,"},{"startTime":1150.28,"endTime":1154.16,"body":"the temptation may be to"},{"startTime":1150.28,"endTime":1154.16,"body":"call out, why me? Why us?"},{"startTime":1154.52,"endTime":1155.66,"body":"Why again?"},{"startTime":1156.62,"endTime":1160.6,"body":"Or does God really care about me?\""},{"startTime":1156.62,"endTime":1160.6,"body":"Though Elder Holland has never heard the"},{"startTime":1160.64,"endTime":1164.86,"body":"Russells ask those questions, they"},{"startTime":1160.64,"endTime":1164.86,"body":"would not be among the first to do so."},{"startTime":1165.66,"endTime":1170.44,"body":"The prophet Joseph Smith asked, \"O, God,"},{"startTime":1165.66,"endTime":1170.44,"body":"where art thou?\" And even the Savior,"},{"startTime":1170.58,"endTime":1174.36,"body":"while atoning for the sins of the"},{"startTime":1170.58,"endTime":1174.36,"body":"world, wondered if he had been forsaken."},{"startTime":1175.8,"endTime":1180.22,"body":"Elder Holland continues, Be"},{"startTime":1175.8,"endTime":1180.22,"body":"still and know that I am God."},{"startTime":1181.22,"endTime":1184.16,"body":"So when you are being hammered"},{"startTime":1181.22,"endTime":1184.16,"body":"on the anvil of adversity,"},{"startTime":1184.6,"endTime":1188.76,"body":"when your soul is being refined with"},{"startTime":1184.6,"endTime":1188.76,"body":"severe lessons that perhaps can be learned"},{"startTime":1188.8,"endTime":1193.6,"body":"in no other way, don't cut"},{"startTime":1188.8,"endTime":1193.6,"body":"and run. Maybe saying,"},{"startTime":1244.38,"endTime":1247.36,"body":"actually, I'm hurting.
