Imagine being whisked away into a world of vibrant energy and captivating performances, where every moment feels like a first-time adventure. That's exactly what happened when we attended the Travis Japan concert at Sony Hall in New York City. From the unexpected VIP invitation by STARTO Entertainment to the electrifying atmosphere of the city, we share our journey of surprise and delight. Our VIP treatment made us feel like newcomers, savoring each moment with a renewed sense of wonder.

The concert was a spectacular blend of charisma and connection, where the band's classic tuxedos and art deco venue created a Broadway-like atmosphere. Each performer brought their own unique energy, with unforgettable moments like Umi's adorable interactions and Genta's crowd-favorite chant. The performers' joyful engagement with the audience was infectious, especially during high-energy numbers like "Level Up," leaving us with a sense of "concert amnesia" from the overwhelming excitement. The dedication of Travis Japan shone through in personal anecdotes and a surprise "Katy Perry song", making the experience even more memorable.

Beyond the music, we dive into behind-the-scenes stories, recounting our exhilarating encounter with the band after the show. Despite challenges like flight delays, Travis Japan's professionalism and passion were evident as they delivered an electrifying performance. Our post-show meeting revealed their genuine warmth and enthusiasm, leaving us inspired by their kindness and dedication. As we wrap up the episode, we express our gratitude to our listeners and encourage you to share in the joy and excitement of this unforgettable concert experience.

Speaker 1

Welcome everybody to another episode of Music Elixir, with me, sarah and Miss Panic. Miss Panic, yes, so shall we just bust right out telling everybody what we're going to talk about? No little, how was work this week? Banter, let's just boom. No, we're not doing.

Speaker 2

No, that's the only thing I'm going to say and I apparently I have scared a few of my followers. It said yes on twitter. On x twitter. I posted it has been a I'm having a surreal week my, no, my week has been surreal, yep and a couple of people are like everything, okay, what happened, what happened? So they got like like concerned. I'm like, well, surreal is it's the world, surreal is not that bad, I mean so real is like no it didn't feel like a normal week.

Speaker 2

It didn't. No. It did not feel like a normal week, no so of course it was surreal, because this is something that you and I don't do now, that's very true for fun, but it was fun, but it was different yeah, it was.

Speaker 1

It was a different thing it was a different vibe so well. It was such a crazy week too. There was so much going on yes so so it's you know. Yes, so I get you with, just surreal To let the followers know.

Speaker 2

I thank you very much for your concern. I am fine. I do want to apologize that I didn't reply to you, because I usually, when somebody I like to interact and you know when they're that concerned I interact and say well, this is what's happening. But this time I said nothing. So I was like I think I'm making it worse and I'm also thinking, if I delete that post, I don't want to make them even more concerned. So I just kept it and I'm like you know what, when we'll record the episode I'll post, I'll end up post answer. See, I'm all stuck on that of like. Why my week?

Speaker 1

felt so real well, I was gonna say that that's the exact reason why I haven't actually been very active this week, because the the same thing, like a lot, happened on a personal level, but then there were so many other things going on, including what we're about to talk about, so I was sort of like overwhelmed.

Speaker 2

I will, I need to yeah let's breathe let's date stamp this recording. Today is october, sunday, october 20th, 2024, just to make it more official, because the event that we have participated in or actually witnessed, or have fun in all the stuff.

Speaker 1

We're part of the energy, the overall experience.

Speaker 2

It happened on that week past week Wednesday.

Speaker 1

Yes, wednesday, the 16th of october. Yes, everybody's probably starting to figure out what we're talking about, right?

Speaker 2

of course the title of the episode will give it away beforehand but of course we could change it to fool everybody, but I shouldn't we shouldn't, though, because there's there's a lot of people expecting this episode Besides, from the fans, to the followers, to the company, yes, and the boys?

Speaker 1

Yes, absolutely the boys. Well, the boys covers a lot, but that's true, okay, that's true, okay.

Speaker 2

So, uh, we are going to talk about our travis japan concert experience. I just want to say this is my first well, actually our first starto entertainment group that we seen a concert, besides whatever's on DVD or YouTube, correct, you know, this is an actual live. This is not a pre-recorded or a stream because, we have seen the stream. This is actually us there being in the same room, breathing the same air, just actually just seeing them not too far. I mean, this is like quaint quaint, quaint, quaint.

Speaker 1

We were part of the vibe. That was what was so incredible being engulfed in this energy. That was happening was just incredible, amazing, yes.

Speaker 2

I do want to say before we start this conversation thank you very much to Starto Entertainment for inviting us to experience Travis Japan in the Sunny Hall in New York City. It was a big surprise for the both of us. It wasn't ever, I mean, the VIP treatment that we received was we I was I from past other managements. I never had this kind of treatment. So that's why I'm like I'm a little lost here, sarah, because I know this is not my first rodeo, but it is my first rodeo. It felt like it is, you know, like this is very different from past companies that I had dealt with and just management that I have dealt with. You know, before it was just like, yeah, you meet this person, you'll get a pass and you go in there and do whatever you want. This was very different. We literally were treated like royalty, like we had the VIP treatment.

Speaker 1

Yeah, it was awesome.

Speaker 2

So, yeah, I'm very grateful and thank you very much to StarTown Entertainment for the invite, absolutely.

Speaker 1

And Sony, because it was their hall after all. Yeah Well, I was going to say, before we get right into the juicy excitement bit, though, I feel like we should sort of talk about how the day progressed. So the day started with we decided to take it easy and relax. We couldn't get a hotel room.

Speaker 2

Oh yeah, that week was full of events in New York.

Speaker 1

Yeah, and it's apparently months, maybe even since last year, stuff was booked. We were like what Booked and expensive?

Speaker 2

I overheard our friend Mike from the Sony home. Oh, yes, yes, that you needed to book six months in advance for this week, for that week only. So I was like, really, he's like, yeah, you have this, this, this, you have the New York Comic Con. You had other concerts.

Speaker 1

There was a film festival happening.

Speaker 2

Billie Eilish was in town. All the groups were in town.

Speaker 1

Yeah, there was a lot going on. It was jam-packed, the knicks were playing and we're not used to booking six months in advance we're always like fly by the seat of our pants oh yeah, we can we can get a hotel in a week. No, we waited too long. So so we were like all right, we have to. We have to drive down to new y, which for us is anywhere three to four hour trip.

Speaker 2

We live in Massachusetts. Just to let everybody know we do not live in New York.

Speaker 1

No. So we were like all right, let's take the morning easy, relax so that we're refreshed and ready. And Miss Panic was like all right, we figured we'd head out around noon, get us there, grab a bite to eat, get to the venue. All of that. Head out around noon, get us there, grab a bite to eat, Get to the venue, all of that. Miss Panic lets me know she's on her way and then like 20 minutes later she's like I'm stuck in traffic. They were painting roads.

Speaker 2

Right, they were painting the road and I'm like who would do that during the day Usually it's at night when there's nobody around Because I mean it's paint Exactly around because I mean, it's paint exactly.

Speaker 1

You don't want cars to run over the wet paint, I don't know. It's so sorry everybody. I know I said we weren't gonna ramble, but it sort of leads up to the whole excitement. So I started to get nervous because I'm like oh no, now we're off schedule. Yeah, because that's how my brain works yeah.

Speaker 1

I'm like we had it planned and now we're not on. We're not on track. She got to my house, we started driving. We we decided we would take the train because it's been awful trying to drive into new york for the past couple of years. Yes, so we were like we're gonna take the train, we get down to our destination, which is new haven connecticut. And we were like, okay, okay, I'd been looking at schedules earlier. I was like, oh, the trains, we might not one and they space them out differently during the middle of the day. But we got in there, we bought our tickets and the guy's like, yeah, track 14, five minutes. And we were like, well, there you go, we're like speedwalking, speedwalking.

Speaker 2

We're like, okay, we're not that bad, we'll get there on time.

Speaker 1

Yep, we booked it, got on our train, our train, we're heading down. We're talking about what are we gonna do? We should be there around, you know, this time 4, 30 ish, we'll have a couple hours to kill before doors open. So, like, what do we eat? You know where do we go to restaurants because you found an awesome restaurant. Yeah, it's, but that's a busy time of day for restaurants, yes. So we were like oh, you know, hopefully we can get in somewhere and eat something, because we didn't want to just have to go to, like, a fast food joint.

Speaker 1

No so should we name the place we ate? I think it should be OK. Right, yeah, why not? All right. So we found this place, Havana Central, a retro Cuban restaurant On 46th Street. Yes, it's in between Grand Central and the venue, the Sony Hall. So it was perfect. We were like we'll just start marching down the road, We'll find it eventually. Everybody. If you're in New York, check it out. Great food, the atmosphere, the decor.

Speaker 2

Yes.

Speaker 1

We felt like we were in Cuba.

Speaker 2

We're hanging out in Havana. I know the music and everything. I eating and dancing on my seat and I'm like, yeah, this is amazing Great food it was. I think, yeah, I don't think you will go hungry at all, Because it's like, and it was the perfect amount too. The price was actually yeah, it's worth the price, it wasn't that expensive, it wasn't that expensive. It's not more expensive your average dine-in. It was great we were on happy hour.

Speaker 1

So of course the drink probably was cheaper.

Speaker 2

But their classic mojito, omg yes, perfect, it was perfect, it was awesome, we didn't go for two, because we didn't want to look too.

Speaker 1

We had an event to go to.

Speaker 2

We needed to look fresh. I needed to pay attention to what was going on. We needed our heads in the right place, exactly. It was like it was. It was work and pleasure at the same time. Definitely, because it's like I need to be alert, you know, but I want to have fun.

Speaker 1

So so we wrapped up dinner around quarter after six, I think yeah, we were there for a good like.

Speaker 2

they didn't rush us, but we were like, okay, we got to get going, so that's great for I know now they're sending us a restaurant review, but that is great for a restaurant that they're not rushing you, even though it's a busy restaurant, because there were people waiting and there were big parties behind us, like there was a birthday party. Yes, we even had to say happy birthday to somebody you know. Yeah, great restaurant they, they, they treat you very well. Our weight right the way.

Speaker 1

Staff, all of them incredible, it amazing, yeah you come out, they're happy, and not just because of mojito.

Speaker 2

No no, they treat you very well and and the food is amazing, amazing food.

Speaker 1

Oh, and actually we got to see the unveiling of their brand new sign.

Speaker 2

Oh yeah, remember that we're like. What is that? Oh, it's a new sign for their TikTok, and you know Instagram selfies and whatnot.

Speaker 1

So that was really cute. So we got out, started walking to the venue and it was exactly what we knew would happen. Yeah.

Speaker 2

We're walking up the line.

Speaker 1

You can see it already going around the corner almost all the way around the block. So we walked and walked and walked and walked. Someone helped direct us.

Speaker 2

I do want to say sonny hall, the. I don't know if I should call them bouncers.

Speaker 1

We call you usually yeah, we call them bouncers, but they're sort of security staff. Yeah, the security.

Speaker 2

Okay, security staff, they were very nice. There was one gentleman that we I already mentioned, his name, mike. He was a sweetheart. He, you know, he knew how to uh talk to people. He was very uh friendly friendly. Yes um, as you know, some um security people that we have met. They're not that friendly, but no, he wanted to ease you like he knew he knew how to handle a crowd he didn't bark out orders at anybody, which we have experienced before paradise in boston but yeah, he was.

Speaker 1

uh, because there were two converging lines, there was was another. This is the theater district. Yes, so there was another theater on the other side with another show.

Speaker 2

So there was their line, and then, there, you know, there was Sony Hall line, and then that other theater which I forgot the name. Yeah, I don't remember they had their own show going on. So there was another line. So he's like what show, what show? A line. So he's like what show, what show we're?

Speaker 1

like travis japan. He said, all right, you need to go over here, and he snuck us through the line from the other theater, yes, and got us in. And I would say, all things considered, like once it hit 6, 30, yeah things, you know people started shifting a little. I think that they maybe didn't start letting people in exactly at it, but the anticipation in the movement, everybody was sort of shifting along, shuffling forward, getting closer to their neighbor, because they were like, yeah, we want to get in, we want to get in and I would say that was probably one of the fastest moving lines To get into a venue.

Speaker 1

To get in that we had experienced yes, fastest moving lines to get into a venue, to get in. That we had experienced yes, because, although the line was as long as a lot of other shows we've been to, I don't feel like there were as many stop and starts right. They were very efficient. So that was good, because you know how people start to get like come on antsy yeah, so it was very well timed, very well executed.

Speaker 2

So because they had security outside instructing what to do some of some venues that, just like you, stand there in line and then that's when chaos happens, because there are some people who are not paying attention or, like you said, they're so excited and anxious they don't know what to do themselves and problems happen. But with them, because they know very well you have more venues with things going around right so they don't want to lose their crowd, you know.

Speaker 2

So they were actually there. They were actually there outside me, like okay, sony hall here here. And you know like just wait, okay, now go ahead. Just you know they knew it, that was great, so they knew how to handle it.

VIP Experience at Travis Japan Concert

Speaker 2

very well, very awesome, and the venue is one of the old venues of New York, of course. Now, when we got there, we were ushered to a booth because, of course, we didn't get regular tickets or we were not given regular tickets because we were invited by the company to attend the show. So we got the vip pass to actually got into a booth really nice, as there were several booths in the area and we got pretty close to the stage, which was awesome it was definitely.

Speaker 1

We had a nice little bar style table in front of us giving a menu to order drinks or whatever food. I didn't know they had that, so me neither.

Speaker 2

I just thought concert, that's it exactly so. My expectation to getting there was just two tickets and that's it. You know me too, because that was what had happened before. You know, you go on a wait waiting list, here's your ticket, have fun. It wasn't just like okay, yeah, waiting list ticket, here's an envelope with your things. I'm like an envelope, okay. And then it said you know, you get a vip pass and all the things I'm gonna say because I want to progress through the talk, but yeah, I was like sarah.

Speaker 2

I don't know what's going on.

Speaker 1

It's like oh, and, by the way, there was merch yeah, you know well, the line was huge and then we got sort of swept up in being brought to the table and being situated and figuring out exactly what was going on.

Speaker 2

I felt like a newbie, which I know I should not felt like a newbie. Like I said, it's not my first rodeo, uh, but it felt like I felt felt like one because of the treatment that it was given to us it was wow.

Speaker 1

I felt like someone was paying attention exactly so this was very different yeah so yeah, like we had our own personal guy walking us to our our spot I know like the further he went, the more I was like whoa really, whoa really, I know, and I'm like where are we going?

Speaker 2

where are we going? I'm like, what is this secret passage?

Speaker 1

I was almost afraid he was gonna shove us out of back exit and be like haha back exit and I'm like wait a minute and I'm like thinking we're kind of really close to the stage.

Speaker 2

Are we gonna be like, haha, back, exit. And I'm like, wait a minute. And I'm like thinking we're kind of really close to the stage. Are we gonna be like backstage, backstage? Because I'm like, oh, but no. Then it was like curtain opens and they're like, oh, no, you're gonna be sitting over here, and I'm like, oh, okay, no girl, it was like box seats at the opera.

Speaker 1

Yeah, there was literally a velvet curtain that they drew aside and here, you go.

Speaker 2

It's like whoa I know that was surprising. So, yeah, it was like hey, we weren't the only ones, just so you all know.

Speaker 1

Yeah, no we weren't totally, absolutely special, but we were, we were feeling special but you know, like I said from past experience, this was completely different.

Speaker 2

So I was just like OK, I don't know what to do with myself, so I just sit here and completely forget about the merch. Oh my God, so you know. So, if you, if, of course, if some of you follow me on OK Asia, I have taken a picture of just the stage. You're saying, oh, waiting for Travis, japan. That's when people just like started showing up on my dms. It's like, oh my god, did you panic? Are you here? Are you here? Where are you? And I'm like no, I can't tell you where I am. And then I was thinking I'm a big mistake of posting that picture.

Speaker 1

I know they can guess our location based on the angle, but they were probably too excited themselves, so it's all good I got a couple of people.

Speaker 2

I'm sitting on this booth over here, blah, blah, blah and I'm like, okay, enjoy.

Speaker 1

And they were lucky to get a booth, because most of it was just a general admission, standing room only, kind of thing.

Speaker 2

There were booths. I guess it was first come, first serve, so they said four hours because it said hold. So I guess those were like if you were lucky enough to get there quick, you can get the booth. So yeah, I just want to say for those followers, sorry I didn't meet you for the show. I was busy. Yeah, there was too much going on, but yeah, too much going on. I forgot merch, I know. But uh, yeah, too much going on, I forgot merch I know I'm when we're always so adamant about merch okay.

Speaker 2

So when sarah and I go to shows, the first thing we do we don't we we'll find our way later where we're gonna, you know, stand or sit wherever. Well, the first thing we do it's merch. This time we just didn't again, because the experience was like oh yes, come with us and I'm like okay, I'm going with you and I'm like I should just say hey, can somebody send me some merch over here? I should just send you, and then I was gonna go go next get merch.

Speaker 1

Well, like you said, I wasn't even really thinking of it. I was so amazed at how close you know proximity we were to the stage. There were people the general audience standing room, only in between us, but we were still so just right there. I think I was just taking it all in and absorbing the energy.

Speaker 2

Absorbing. Also the. That's the venue because the whole art deco look very classical style, big disco ball that we're like this is so much of their entertainment.

Energetic Travis Japan Concert Performance

Speaker 2

They love their disco ball, so let's. So, where we were, they stayed standing there and, you know, sitting there, we were sitting waiting. Where we were standing there and you know, sitting there, we were sitting waiting. Yeah, we were sitting and waiting. They were playing some music just to get the crowd, you know, going and just happy. They were playing some other medleys and just instrumental or just tunes and whatever, just to entertain you. That was cool. So that's when I OK, so that's when my whole working mode started, because we knew very well we were going to do this concert experience.

Speaker 2

That's why I forgot about merch Starto. Can you help me out with that one? It was not my fault. I really wanted to give money For real. I wanted to really give money. I wanted to pay, give the money to boys. Anyways, all the anticipation.

Speaker 1

Well, because the music would stop for a second and everybody would be like, yeah, but then they'd start something. We were like, oh, oh, they're teasing us they're teasing us, it was like it.

Speaker 2

you know when it starts, when there's lights goes out, right when lights goes out and when that part happens, it was like so cool. So Because there's like a medley, they were dressed. I like their costumes. This was like the classic costumes of them with their tuxedo. You know they have all the variations of their tuxedo type of like costumes. So this one was just classic tuxedos, like we have seen them, with the little sparklies on it.

Speaker 1

The tuxedo with the sparkles on it Some sort of color, splashes color, or the silver one that it was like grand, this was just classic tuxedos. It felt very broadway well, and they fit into the venue. Just that beautifully crafted, sculpted, classic style it was. They weren't oversized, exaggerated costumes. They were sharp looking. These guys were going to a dinner party somewhere. You know what I mean. Like they looked incredible. It was just everything fit together which was awesome, made for a whole feel.

Speaker 2

No, I like that Because again, it gave the like you said, the ambience of the venue plucks their tuxedo and then, when we're talking about art deco, it just gave that. It zoom you into that time. And, of course, the boys dancing, which is their synchronicity, is so awesome and I like that. They also have the uh the batons, uh, no batons. The the canes, the lighted cane. It was so cool, so it gave again that splash of broadway full-on performance. It felt like chorus line. You know that, because it was like that. They're the boys of the chorus, yeah, yeah, so it just it gave that. I do like that. Even though they were wearing tuxedos, chaka was wearing a bandana. Yeah, so I still gonna look cool. I said, what am I? But I still gonna look cool. Like you know, he has his own, you know, personality. He gave his own personality with that costume, which is awesome.

Speaker 1

Just so everybody knows I was trying to be in professional mode. There's some stuff I suffered. That concert amnesia, where like I'm like, what did I? Because I was so. That concert amnesia, where like I'm like, what did I? Because I was so overwhelmed you know what I mean the, the energy of the crowd and the, the boys on stage and and what they were doing. It was like I know I saw it, I know I watched it, trying to fit the pieces together in my head. But that was definitely the, that opening coming out with those tuxedos and just they were just all right on, they were on, they wanted to be doing this, they were giving it their all. It was just a wave. A wave of energy came off the stage and hit the audience. I mean, we were on our feet immediately. Anyways, I felt kind of bad for the people behind us as we're standing hopping. I was like I don't want to be in anybody's way, but I want to be as close to this as I can be to see it.

Speaker 2

All you have to I mean, the music is so. We were so hyped, we wanted to dance with the boys. Want to dance?

Speaker 1

with this, you know, with the music.

Speaker 2

When they started playing level up omg, that it was so cool because it's like you know, level up, it's like you know game boy, it's like you have to dance to, that it's so upbeat, their energy is out there. I mean they started so like pow, you know, just full of energy and everybody's energy.

Speaker 1

It was just I was dancing the whole time, oh yeah, except for when they were stopped and were waving and we were waving like crazy fan girls instead of trying to keep our conclusion of course, because we wanted.

Speaker 2

You know, we're like me, I'm over here, which you know. That was awesome and I I like that. Um, they also kept their explosiveness. They're all on point. It was just like felt magical sometimes as well, you know they kept.

Speaker 1

They kept also sort of a playfulness, because like when ginta hopped on shizu's shizu- I want to say I know he sort of drops the? U part so it's shizu's back and they're just sort of dancing around. I mean you can tell he's the baby and everybody lets him do what he wants but you know there was definitely you know, like punching each other's shoulder, not hard, but like just they were.

Speaker 1

They were interacting with each other as well as the audience, which is important because that lets us know, that lets us see how grounded and together they are as a group, that it's not just okay go out, do the moves, smile at everybody, do some more moves. You know they were really.

Speaker 2

They were engaging with each other as well as the audience, and that was just awesome I like the minimal list of like costuming because they even, uh, they had the, uh the medley of dancers with the mask on they brought in, so they put that on, but not like overly done uh with the costuming. They wanted to, just like they were there more for like. See our performance, see how we dance you. We're not all about the costume and whatever.

Speaker 1

Yeah, because there were a couple of times I was expecting. I was like, oh three of them are off stage, are they getting? And it was really just that they were throwing off their coats and putting them to the side so that was sort of the costume change was. They removed the tuxedo jacket and they were just going around in the dress shirt tuxedo jacket and they were just going around in the the dress shirt.

Speaker 2

And that was after that, mentally, with their right, with their mask on, because they that choreo was so on point, because they have to, I mean, you gotta wear that mask on. You got lights all over you you know, like you gotta make sure, because there were some parts where they were.

Speaker 2

Each one have to take a turn you know, and sometimes you have to be in sync as well. It was just like, wow, that was awesome. I'm like a mask will not give you that much of peripheral vision. No, you really got to know. You got to know your mark. You got to know your mark exactly. Pay attention to that beat, pay attention to that note, you know. So you don't look like the odd one, like, oh, I missed that part. No, they were on point on that and I was like, wow, I'm so happy they won third, um, third place on that. Uh, dancing competition.

Speaker 1

Oh, yeah, the world of dance right?

Speaker 2

yes, that was the first I was like whoa, that was just third place.

Speaker 1

You know and they were doing the mask thing too on that one right and with bigger, though flowy.

Speaker 2

They had those beautiful jackets, yes I know we're jumping into that, but I mean, I was really, I was really happy to see that performance there as well.

Speaker 1

This also shows. We've been following what they do, yeah, so we know what was happening. You know, we we've seen some of these performances on a different level. I don't watch those kinds of shows. I've never watched those kinds of shows, but when they were on, oh yeah, I was watching I was watching, definitely because I want to support them. Kisses, come on it's a big deal. It's a big deal.

Speaker 2

How about the time they bring the old-fashioned mics? Yes, and they were.

Speaker 1

Oh, I loved that that was so cool and you know the old crooner style, the big silver microphones, I love those mics from like the 50s oh that was so cool.

Speaker 2

Well, of course, dancing with it as well. Oh, that was so cool. Love that choreo. And of course they're singing. Being on point, I like that. It was and it's. It was the last show.

Speaker 2

You gotta remember this most people but the last lag of the last date of the the tour is like uh, okay, let's get this over with. But no, they, uh, they had the energy, they were fresh, they were. You know, I guess I keep saying it on point, because it was yeah, well, they were on point, the, the acrobatics that Noel was still pulling off.

Speaker 1

Yes, so flawlessly, when they've been, they've already been touring other places. They're jet lagged from Asia to the West Coast yes, and then jet lagged from the West Coast to the East Coast yes, and those I mean the shows were close together. I know they had like a day in between the west coast ones, but they flew straight to new york and the show was that day. You know what I mean.

Speaker 2

Like well, we have an insight on that, but we'll leave that towards the end. Um, but you know, and I like that, like you were saying, after they did their medley, with the singing, with the mics and whatever that's when they take the jacket off and I think that's when everybody start losing their mind, because it's like, oh, they're only on shirts, but not just only on shirts.

Speaker 2

There was a few of them that actually unbuttoned their shirt and I think what was it? Was it chaka? I think it was chaka and shime. We're having a little bit of like. I'm pulling your shirt off, I'm pulling your shirt.

Speaker 1

No, no, I think it was machu it was machu, because they were the shime had his like practically all the way, because I think I don't know if it was chaka or machu he was the one like opening his shirt, like really being mischievous, and see, this is what I mean about the amnesia and the fans are like I know and of course everybody's screaming because it's like, oh, the boys are playing with them.

Fan Girls Reflect on Travis Japan

Speaker 1

Well, exactly, but that's what I was saying. You know the that they were, they were interacting with each other as well, which you know I know is part of the whatever you want to call it fan service, and blah, blah, blah they like to pair with each other and I'm like, oh, today we're gonna be us, I think they were truly also like just having a good time fooling around, messing around.

Speaker 1

This is the final show of the tour. They were probably just letting loose. Do you know what I mean? Yeah, it's like let's just throw out all the stops and go for it. So, yeah, yeah, it was definitely a lot of playful and fun.

Speaker 2

I do want to say, because you know, when they were singing and they were doing the interaction with fans and they were close to our section, oh yeah, yeah, and I'm like waving and I'm like I think.

Speaker 1

Noel saw me. Yeah no, there were definitely a couple of times I was like oh wait, you see me waving my arms like a maniac. I'm sorry, I felt kind of bad because I'm thinking we're supposed to be VIPs, I know.

Speaker 2

Reserved and behaved. We're not supposed to be all, in all frantic, I mean, why not?

Speaker 1

I was enjoying myself. Well, there was during one of the many times that they would come to the edge of the stage and wave to everybody. I have to say there was Umi, did this cute little like he had his arms fully, did a little head tilt and glanced at the audience with a smirk on his face. Oh my God, it was adorable. And Machu, the smile. He had that smile on his face like the whole show. Yes, and everybody you know know I have a soft spot for him because he shares a birthday with my mom.

Speaker 1

But he was just beaming, he was glowing and and so that was what struck me with, with umi doing this cute little maneuver and he was just so. It was like he was so proud of himself, yeah, yeah, yeah, for being cute, and it was just. It was just so great Because, again, this is this energy that they were giving to the audience, they were feeding it to us. We were loving it. People, I mean all the light sticks, all the girls.

Speaker 2

Oh yeah, changing the colors. See if I would have gotten my merch, I would have gotten a light stick and be with everybody. I was just waving my hand. Anyways, I'm not gonna let go. I'm so mad that I didn't get merch. I'm so mad that I didn't get merch. It's my own fault, I know me too. It's my own fault I didn't get merch.

Speaker 1

Okay, anyways but we weren't gonna miss any of the show.

Speaker 2

To go to the table yeah, but but I mean, we had time, I know I know prior.

Speaker 2

Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's on us, it's on us, it's I know that people are gonna be like oh, the only thing they're talking about they didn't get right. It's true, because this, this is our life, this is what we do. We go with get merch. We get mad if we there's no merch and there was merch and we forgot to get merch. Okay, so I'm mad at myself, but anyways, how about the introduction that they do? Oh so, cute I like that, that one part I. He says I'm sexy genta, I'm like what, get what?

Speaker 1

I'm like I know that's. I don't think I heard everybody else introducing did she may do his? I'm sweet, did he do that?

Speaker 2

I think so but I mean one.

Speaker 1

That's the one that I was surprised to was sexy again I'm like well, because he's not really said it with confidence and like I definitely was like sexy again.

Speaker 2

But the crowd went insane, everybody was you know, chanting back Sexy Genta, sexy Genta. I'm like okay, okay, but I knew it was like Chivet Chivet, chivet, chivet, you know. But when it went to Genta, sexy Genta, he went sexy Genta. I'm like really, he's just not only Genta, it's just sexy Genta. I was laughing, anyways, but I was chanting too because I was with the crowd, I was doing the same thing, but that was fun. I like when they do that, it's so cool. You're involved in there because the guys are, like you know, saying their names, you know, so that's cool okay, I can go on well, because you know, machu always uses the Machu Picchu.

Speaker 1

Yeah, this is.

Speaker 2

Machu, machu, machu, machu and Chaka. This is, of course, chaka Chaka, chaka Chaka. Am I missing anyone? Umi Umi, oh my God. Umi, umi, umi, umi. These poor guys. I hope they're not listening to this.

Travis Japan Concert Costume Review

Speaker 1

They probably will we're just, we've said it before we're fan girls we are. We turn into our teens when we are ourselves going in a concert.

Speaker 2

We put our energy in that concert, we get with the crowd, we enjoy ourselves and we. That's what we were doing at this concert. We were absorbing the fan, fan girliness from everybody and I'm like, okay, this is what we're gonna do well.

Speaker 1

I mean, there were times though I was just completely like hypnotized. I zoned out, for you know, entire songs because I was just so engrossed in what they were doing and watching everybody's movements and I was like just moving along with the sound but like not registering everything because this was just so intense what I do like about this concert.

Speaker 2

We just, you know, from previous concerts, from other concerts that we have deal with, remember that they had they didn't have a video montage, that it was different. They actually, instead of just having a video montage, they just had conversations with the fans. They were actually saying what, what was happening, that they, what they're leading to the concert, what they did, they interacted by saying what kind of trips they have, you know, made, you know when. Oh my god, was it chaka or machu? I don't know if it was chaka or machu. When he he said he came to new york city and saw broadway shows oh, I don't know I think it was machu.

Speaker 2

I think Machu said he actually had come to New York City.

Speaker 1

Previously.

Speaker 2

Previously just for Broadway shows and he was looking just watching Broadway shows.

Speaker 1

I'm like well that's awesome, but they also talked about what they wanted to do as a group in New York. They talked about the Empire State Building, right? So they were talking about previous things, but talk about what they wanted to do now. You know, being exposed to all of this new stuff for for a few of them, because, uh, more than just one of them has been to new york before but this is like as a group performing and having this energy to to go around and things.

Speaker 2

They also announced the new song you know because that's the big thing, which, of course, is is going to be released on the 21st. When we're recording, it's not here yet, but of course, in Japan, everybody's already listening and streaming and doing their best.

Speaker 1

It'll already be out there by the time this is out, and I'm sure it's on YouTube so we can check it out.

Speaker 2

Oh yeah, time yes, and I'm sure it's on youtube so we can check it out. Oh yeah, so that's kind of cool. You know they're like, please watch it, and of course we're gonna watch it and support you. I like that they did a katie perry song fireworks and uh, shizu did the choreo yes, which was really. It was just like this is a new choreo, we're gonna dance. I'm like, oh my god, that's so awesome.

Speaker 1

It was a surprise exactly, and that's really exciting because after the show, but before we started this recording, they had done an interview in seattle talking about how exciting all of the new stuff coming a new album, new songs, new projects for them. So the fact that shizu did the choreo for this little you know mini break, that she's a shime, shizu was a shizu.

Speaker 2

Okay, yes, it was him. There's something. Oh no, yeah, go ahead.

Speaker 1

so anyway, so, knowing that from this interview, that they're excited that they're taking more control, more or more interaction with the projects, that they're taking more control, more or more interaction with the projects that they're moving forward with musically, dance-wise, all of that, so it was really cool and exciting to learn that they're introducing us little by little to all the things that they're doing.

Speaker 2

And, with that being said, also, the boys took their time with just having their solo dance. That was really cool too. Yes, you know, and not just only or just having their solo dance, that was really cool too. Yes, you know, and not just only you know their solo dance, just to, you know, show off their moves and how you their moves. Also, it's costume change exactly because they were doing. You know, they change their costumes. Who are more um the white outfits, everybody was different.

Speaker 1

it was not in uniform, like like in a tuxedo, like the tuxedo yeah, everybody has like a little thing but it was sort of like variations of the same theme. You know it's all white. There was a little bit of this and that going on, but not a cookie cutter outfit.

Speaker 2

Everybody, I think, got to express themselves a little in their style everybody has a different style, definitely, so that was cool, you know, very flowy. There were a lot of flowy material there. You know it was in the, you know, pants t-shirt, it was just. It has some kind of not cape or more flowy uh, um, oh, my gonna jackets, right? No, I was. There's some outfits there and I'm like I want that. I know, right, I will wear that. There is no office there. I'm like I will like it, I. What can I buy?

Speaker 1

yeah, exactly, and and again, the they were understated so they didn't. They weren't uh, distracting from the movement and the the overall, because maybe as a smaller stage you don't need those bright, flashy, the people in 10 miles away.

Speaker 2

Need to see what I do like about the material. Um, yes, it was white, but I guess it's just a way that reflected.

Speaker 1

It was kind of like some of them have that track suit kind of material right and I well, I think there might have been a little bit of like, uh, sheer sequin kind of detailing very, very minimal, but yeah, it wasn't like bright, flashy, no distracting costume, something that just sort of flowed with the whole mood and feel of the music and the moves they were doing they were stylish and stylish futuristic kind of style too, you know a lot of asymmetric, asymmetrical, asymmetrical can't even talk awesome some parts, some of them kind of, I think, urban style too right, I was gonna say some of sort of almost street everybody has a little difference.

Speaker 2

You know that look really awesome, awesome. I love shimas. Shimas costume was so awesome, I like, oh, and it looks so good on him. I don't know. He looked very angelic, uh-huh, yeah, the same thing with noel, he'll look angelic too.

Speaker 1

I get that whole. You know sweet shima is is uh, and what do you call that oxymoron? It doesn't mean what you think it means. He's not really. He is a sweet guy. He's got a little, I think he's got a little devil in him. He is very sweet.

Speaker 2

I don't know what you're talking about. He is a very sweet boy, stop it.

Speaker 1

It's always the ones you think are sweet have a little bit of devil in them. That's what I'm saying.

Speaker 2

Stop it. No, he is just an angel. He doesn't do no wrong he is very cute, so I that, yeah, I'm looking at their outfits right now. And, um, so noelle is, yeah, like I said, angelic, kind of angelic has a shimmery shirt yeah, it's that silvery sort of.

Speaker 1

Yeah, it did shimmer, it was very glossy, looking very smooth shiny.

Speaker 2

We have umi, who is very street wear. He's wearing a bandana as well. The pants remind me of, like the 80s you know, the b-boys oh yeah, yeah, that was cool. So I some of these outfits. I'm like, hey, I'm not gonna remember your black back in the day when you used to dress like that also, uh, genta looked really smart or whatever he was wearing. But yeah, they look a lot like these, look more like they can go out in the town. You know wearing these outfits, right, you know classic, not classic. Boy next door maybe, maybe not.

Speaker 1

But with a little edge. Yeah, you know, because Genta and Shime definitely had shorter jackets so they were looking a little more. Geez, I don't know, that's the boy next door, but like Shizu, with the sort of slightly longer, he was definitely more of a street street wear kind of look he was giving you urban. Yeah, he was, he was Umi.

Speaker 2

I want to say Umi and Shizu were giving you more of the urban style.

Speaker 1

Right, so they're. They're the boy next door. That might get you in a little trouble if you go out with them.

Speaker 2

What You're putting people into trouble, jeez.

Speaker 1

Oh my goodness, don't go what by sarah's thing?

Speaker 2

no, but they look smart. No, they definitely look awesome. Love the costume they looked. I love the outfits yes, yes, it's, it's.

Speaker 1

You know why? It's because I always it's. I like a little bad boy, I do so. I have to make you know projections on people.

Speaker 2

So then you have to say you're a boss on lady over here.

Speaker 1

I'm not saying they're you know going out and getting into fights or something. I'm just saying Anyways, they got a little attitude. But of course they got a little attitude, you know.

Speaker 2

They also had another costume change. That's when they put their merch, on which I forgot. Really cool t-shirts, though now the big travis, japan in, like orange, you know, and of course them, oh my god, I wanna.

Speaker 1

And that was a tiger, the back.

Speaker 2

Yeah, and they also had towels Travel Japan towels.

Speaker 1

This is something not a lot of people have. Was that merch, though? Yes, or is that just theirs?

Speaker 2

Girl. No, when you see them wearing all that stuff, it's because they are merch. We miss the towels. This is something I love. That some Japanese groups do bring is towels. They're not doing that that much and I'm like they have towels, I love that and I miss all of them. I missed on getting a travel japan towel. I missed on getting a t-shirt. Yeah, I'm making what you want. No, I think they were doing what she was.

Speaker 1

Well, you know I was the thing I was thinking to actually back two costumes when they were still in there the tuxedo outfits, the shirts. Remember they came out with their little red tj hats. I loved that shaka kept his head, the the bandana yeah, so at one point it looked like he had little dog ears because the a couple of the sides of it fell down.

Speaker 2

That's a bad boy thing exactly that is a bad boy thing. When I saw him do that I'm like boy, you're lucky you inside a venue in new york. Do not go outside like that, okay let's just okay let's leave it like that. See, this is what happens when people start hanging out in la don't be, saying la is nothing, la is trouble. You need to come up to boston.

Boston Concert Reflections and Gratitude

Speaker 1

This is cleaner, this is better come on, we have a lot to offer. We have nice old venues like that, bigger venues too, bigger venues we're always promote. Come to boston, come to boston, we're always promoting boston.

Speaker 2

I don't know if people want to come to boston.

Speaker 1

I don't know why it's only an hour away as opposed to four.

Speaker 2

Logan Airport is right there.

Speaker 1

Yeah, exactly, come on, you don't have to travel, yeah you don't have to go across the bridge or anything, you just no, it's right there, you're there. Well, all right, you do have to go over, but whatever, it's not as bad. Girlfriend, I'm trying to sell our I'm just saying there is a bridge, but it's not. No, it's not the same.

Speaker 2

There's no bridge, it's just Logan and then Boston. That's it. That's all you need to know, and we have plenty of hotels.

Speaker 1

Awesome hotels too.

Speaker 2

Yes, so please come to Boston. So also they did two encores Yay, yes and so also they did two encores Yay, yes, you know.

Speaker 1

And people did not want to leave because they want a third encore. Oh yeah, no, no, no. Everybody was like no, they could have come out and sang Twinkle, twinkle Little Star and everybody would have gone crazy.

Speaker 2

But let me tell you that ending. Oh you know what I'm talking about. We have our leader and he was pouring his heart out. I'm like I, my japanese is please, you know, it's probably yeah, but there were some words that I caught here and there and I was like I'm gonna start crying. I'm just gonna start crying and at points I'm just shaking my head like yes, boy, yes, yes, boy, yes, you know, this is your dream, yes, yeah, I was gonna say when he said you man, I'm like and I know it's just, you know, a dream come true for them to be there.

Speaker 2

It was. You know, the whole tour, you know, and and just being grateful for the fans and ah it's, I was like if he starts crying, I'm gonna start right but I mean, there was a few parts where his voice was kind of like breaking.

Speaker 2

I'm like no, no, no, no, no, because I'm gonna lose it, you know, because I'm so happy, we're so proud for them, we're very happy for them that they have gone this far and all the projects and things that they're doing, and right, it's just it's a very exciting time for them and so there's just opportunities out there and so many you know more goals to attain and things.

Speaker 1

So yeah, they're. They're on this breakthrough point. Everything's coming together and I want it to keep going for them and you want it to keep going. You know we want this to be.

Speaker 2

You know they're on their second year. This is their second year after they debuted. You know they've been together longer than that, but debuting this is like. This is huge for them Two years into their debut and just being traveled to US, have a USs tour that's humongous, that is big and it's it's yeah, it is emotional you know, absolutely it's.

Speaker 1

I'm happy it's emotional, it's just I'm sure the guys are so exhausted you know, yeah, the running on pure adrenaline they were yes, like you could see it, by the end there was this like little glaze to all of them, like did this really just happen? Yeah, you know.

Speaker 2

So it's so exciting for them but how much of a professionalism that they are, how pro, how pro, how they are as a pro talent last day of their tour and they're kept themselves beyond 100 of energy, beyond 100 of like, just just what they're doing, you know I mean from the acrobats and everything. There was no mishaps at all. No, I just didn't notice because I was just so excited to see them well, you know, there's just so much activity and so much going on.

Speaker 1

They can make it blend, even if they did Not. Everybody's absolutely perfect, but they showed us perfection. For me, that was perfect. We didn't see yeah, exactly, we didn't see any of it.

Speaker 2

For me, they probably noticed stuff, but we didn't, I'm sure. I'm sure because they've been doing this choreo and everything right, well, and that's what they have to do.

Speaker 1

They have to be aware of, hey, you know. So they, they may have noticed, but as an audience we did not.

Speaker 1

We were just completely mesmerized and I just think, like you were saying that they, you know there wasn't, even though it was the end of the tour. Sometimes shows like that can be a little bittersweet, or there there's a little bit more of a melancholy to the performance because they know it's over. These guys were, the excitement was just there and they were ready to to give it their all, and that was just such a part of the electricity going through this venue. You know, everybody was just so super charged and it was just start to finish Again. I sort of was just in this place in my head watching and being fascinated, and so they were just amazing, pulled it off, incredibly.

Speaker 2

I do also want to say to the fans kudos to you, as well as behaved fandom that I have ever met. They're very courteous, they took care of each other and other people that they did not know. I was also blown away by their fandom.

Speaker 1

The.

Speaker 2

Traja fans. They were very poised. They were not exaggerated craziness. I was just excited to be there and be, you know, supported respect for the artists, but also each other.

Speaker 1

Yes, it was sort of subdued, but there was this energy, this electricity and it's, I think everybody just was in the same sort of space like our friend, I'm gonna call him my friend, our friend, our friend from.

Speaker 2

He's like this is the most well-behaved group of fans that I had ever had encountered. That was awesome. It was.

Speaker 1

But he was also impressed with the boys. Oh yeah, he was like those guys got talent.

Speaker 2

Yeah, we were like yes, they do, and it was like their energy.

Speaker 1

They got a lot of energy.

Speaker 2

Wow, wow, they do it and it was like their energy. They got a lot of energy. Wow, wow, he was. Yeah, he was impressed I.

Speaker 1

I think probably this isn't his typical kind of show to be working at yeah no, he was like he was impressed. He was impressed and he said he's been, he's been in the business for a while industry for quite some time.

Speaker 2

so he's seen a lot. Yes, he, he has. He did said that I've seen a lot. This is this crowd was good. This crowd was good, you know. Yeah, he was impressed with the boys and impressed with with the crowd. So that's just a lot to say from a security person.

Speaker 1

All right, yay, new York, I know, Next time it'll be Boston, yay, boston, come on. You're pushing that. I know next time it'll be boston, yay, boston, come on, I know, come to boston, come to boston.

Speaker 2

Hey, if I was a millionaire, I would have taken one of our venues here in rampton and just make it, you know, suitable for all these groups make it a destination.

Speaker 1

you know which one I'm talking about?

Speaker 2

Then I'm like what's going on with this venue. I mean, it's an amazing venue.

Speaker 1

It is. It's a wasted opportunity. Oh my God For sure.

Speaker 2

Any more thoughts of like oh, we do have some behind the scenes thoughts, because after the show was over, we stayed behind. Yes, we did. It was over, we stayed behind. Yes, we did so. Again, thanks to starto for giving us the opportunity to actually meet the guys. Yes, oh my god, and also heard that actually for that show they actually flew in at 2 30 in the morning, right, not even a day ahead well, because their flight was canceled yeah or delayed.

Speaker 1

It was delayed probably because the weather in la is garbage, I'm just gonna say it like flying that morning did what they needed to do. Well, and it was funny because I mentioned I was like it was crazy because I swear genta was taking pictures in time square at like what three in the morning and they were like, yes, that was the time they first arrived, wow.

Speaker 2

So the excitement of being there obviously outweighed the I'm tired exactly and then, to be able, yeah, to perform to get that energy level energy when I was told that I'm like, wow, and their energy was just like if they just flew in the day before and, you know, had some time to just chill out. But no, they basically had no time.

Speaker 1

No, because you know they had to go in and sort of figure out their spacing and their limits.

Speaker 2

Each stage is different, right, so they need to make sure they can, you know.

Speaker 1

What can we fit in this space and what can we?

Speaker 2

the formation, and you know the formations that they have to do you know, give themselves space, not kick each other. You know, yes, especially when it comes to the acrobats.

Speaker 1

you know it's which is dangerous. You need it to be safe, exactly. So, so you know they weren't just lounging around in the hotel spa getting ready. No, they were working.

Speaker 2

I, you know, I hope they took some naps or something, just you know, so they can get to that energy.

Speaker 1

So finding out that, yeah, we were like oh my God, no way, yes.

Speaker 2

So we briefly were able to say hello to them. They were still 100, like they're energetic their energy off the roof, you know.

Speaker 1

Yeah, I think again, just pure adrenaline. They were just so hyped up, but they were so everybody like this is where it's really sort of surreal. I was like they're all shining, like they're glowing. I'm blinded by this brilliance of them. Like they're glowing. Yeah, I'm blinded by this brilliance of them. Yeah, shaka and Machu especially, they did not stop smiling.

Speaker 2

The whole time we were talking with them, they were so cute, they were so cool. I'm like, are you really excited to see us? I don't know it just, but they were so cute. Machu, Machu's. Like hi, I'm Machu. I'm like, oh, my goodness. And then he said it multiple times. I'm like hi and Shima's. Like I saw you from the stage. I'm like, oh okay, I didn't know what to say. I'm just like okay.

Speaker 1

Well, because you are, you're sort of in this. Well, because we were waiting, waiting because we thought we were going to get ushered into somewhere, but they came out. So that was. We were sort of taken by surprise it was.

Speaker 2

It was fun. He's like hi, I saw you from the stage.

Speaker 1

I'm like okay I have to say too, when because they did, they all introduced themselves to us, shook our hands. We all gave each other little bows. But Umi did the same little smirk from the stage when he introduced himself to me. I guess that's his shtick, that's his thing. Hi, I'm Umi.

Speaker 2

I was like oh my God, you're so cute. Oh my God. Okay. So when I shook when Genta introduced himself I'm like sexy genta everybody started laughing, because that's why he introduced himself on stage. I'm like sexy genta, they're like sexy genta. I'm like, oh my god did.

Speaker 2

I do like that hey, I'm just repeating what he was saying on stage, but no, it was a funny interaction it was, it was definitely um, but no, they were all adorable, they were all gentlemen, and the way they shook their hands, that shook our hands were like hi, you know nothing like abrupt, it was just like so tender so sweet.

Speaker 1

Yeah, yeah, it was. It wasn't just a single hand. Everybody shook the hand and held with the other hand yes, so it. Yeah, it wasn't just like a business, like hi, introduction. No, it was. It was a genuine nice to meet you and, again, that's probably why they were all glowing to me, because I was just like you are all so wonderful, perfect. You're tired. You've been, I know, like running around the country.

Speaker 2

You've been dealing with all kinds of people in your face exactly, and here we are right interviews, this and that and pictures and you know what not. I know there was a VIP package. I don't know if the vip package also had pictures with them I'm not sure unless it was just special seating, uh, but it was a sold out show.

Speaker 2

All of them were sold out and you could tell because that venue was jam packed. Yes, jam, jam packed. That was awesome. It was very, very happy. All the fans, everybody who wanted to see them, were there. Jam packed venue. The guys gave you know, I guess that energy to the roof. That was sky high, more than that one thousand percent, oh my goodness, it was just amazing, amazing.

Speaker 2

And, of course, meeting them was like the cherry on top, absolutely, absolutely. I was not expecting that either. No, because I thought it was just a show. And then it's like, oh yeah, stay after the show, and I'm like we are.

Speaker 1

OK, the company introduced the guys to us. It was really such an organic sort of experience.

Speaker 1

It wasn't like we've done other VIP things where, as we say, you're sort of shuffled in, you get, get, you know, whatever your little photo. What happened with us was sort of just this spontaneous oh hey, you're right here, we're right here, nice to meet you, you know. Thank you so much. And and the way they I mean they were yelling, I know we're, we're walking out the doors, we're leaving and they were still saying goodbye and I'm like I don't know we walked by all the boxed up merch and I was like oh no, could we break that open and have?

Speaker 1

can I get a few?

Speaker 2

things from there. I'm sorry, I was just being preoccupied because I was doing some work being a fan and work as well, you know.

Speaker 1

It was incredible.

Speaker 2

And anyone else. I will never forget this. No, absolutely not.

Speaker 1

And anyone else who got to go see them that you were there and you were part of it. We hope that you're like even half as excited as we were We'll still be through the roof because it was so amazing.

Speaker 1

And so those of you who do interact with us, yes, drop us a line, yeah, let us know how yours was, because we've seen some things. We'd love to know your experience of it because, I mean, it was from beginning to end and right to to cap off the night. We got to grand central and we got on a train right away, like that never happens.

Speaker 2

Yeah, our day was smooth as well.

Speaker 1

It was a vip all through right, because we got to the, we didn't even have to wait at the restaurant. No, you know, and it was happy hour.

Speaker 2

No, exactly it was just like park. Got on the train, got a restaurant, went to the venue, saw the show, saw the boys left, got the train, got on the car and that's it.

Speaker 1

I'm like wow, it was everything. It just was the smoothest. I was ready to be anxious, like I said, when you first called and we're like I'm stuck in traffic I was like, oh no, the whole timeline's off. But but no, it worked out, it just yeah. The minute we got on that first train, everything was smooth sailing. It was just awesome, yeah.

Speaker 2

The universe. It's like no, you can't leave now. You got to wait Right A little bit longer, then there will be smooth transition. That's why I said it was surreal. It was a very surreal day and a week for me, oh my god and another thing it was the first show when we had perfect weather no rain, no snow, no nothing, no extreme cold, no extreme hotness.

Speaker 1

And I'm surprised, crazy because it was also a full moon. Yeah, so that you know usually brings out the crazy anxiety stuff you know.

Speaker 2
