Terry and Bob Cole: Brothers Who Quit Their Teaching and Engineering Jobs to Start a Successful Record Label

Season 1 Episode 18

Growing up in small town Ohio, Terry and Bob had to work for everything. Their father would hire them at 12 years of age to help him sell vintage/new music records on Ebay. This early work would lay the foundation for Colemine Records and Plaid Room Records. Upon graduating from Miami University Oxford, they found themselves unhappy in their day jobs. After another rough day teaching, Terry decided to jump head first and recruit his brother Bob to start a record shop. Follow along to hear the journey of two brothers who made their dreams a reality. They have now helped launch multiple grammy artists through their label and currently operate one of the most popular records shops in the nation.
