Speaker 1

Unhinged bruh . Unhinged , I absolutely will be . This is insane and single .

Speaker 3

And ain't got no kids .

Speaker 2

Let's go . The time is now . Let's fucking go .

Speaker 1

Like I don't see the bullshit that's happening . Yeah , just in time for summer , niggas ain't slick bro , just in time for summer .

Speaker 2

Just in time for summer . I also want to say niggas , stop approaching people at the gas station . You niggas are some home wrecking junior bells . I am not interested . I'm a married woman . Okay , stay away from me and my family , okay , please so hopping down at gas stations don't work no more .

Speaker 1

I mean you married , so like obviously I mean and it was like 7 30 in the morning .

Speaker 2

I'm like fam , I'm just trying to go to work in the morning . I'm like fam , I'm just trying to go to work , I'm just trying to go to work . And then it was like also like you didn't like pay for my gas or nothing . You was just talking and I was like , well , here I am still swiping my husband's credit card to get gas . So it was like no , ain't no home wrecking for the cheap and the weary . I tell you what ?

Speaker 3

that don't go together , how you come down at the gas pump and you ain't even offered to pay for my gas .

Speaker 1

I mean I'll buy you a bag of chips or something .

Speaker 3

Don't talk to me at the gas station .

Speaker 1

Let me ask this , though it was 7 in the morning , did he look like he was on his way to work ? He ?

Speaker 2

definitely was gassing up his . I think he was driving a truck Like a delivery truck or something , but it was just like it was too early and he was trying to make intense eye contact and I was like I got to . I got to go clock in . I'm so sorry , I'm so sorry , I'm so sorry . I'm not in the space to be blowing up my life . No , thank you , I'm sorry .

Speaker 1

Okay , well , niggas .

Speaker 2

I felt saucy , like when I got to work . I had a good ass day , like yeah .

Speaker 1

So he put a battery in your back .

Speaker 2

But that's it . Then I had to go home and run it out on my husband . So thank you , nigga . At the grad station I call niggas who like messing with married women homewrecking junior bells . You ain't a jazz bell , but you for sure a junior bell . You need to get your ass out of here .

Speaker 1

Junior bell is fucking crazy , bro . I ain't never heard no shit like that .

Speaker 3

Oh god .

Speaker 1

But yeah , I ain't never heard no shit like that , oh God Well yeah , as they were saying , I had the pleasure of joining them on their podcast A lot more mature topic , for sure . I mean , we talk about mature things here , but for the most part we're not monolithic . You want to come through and shoot the shit , and you know , talk about junior bells and whatnot , you feel me ? So , yeah , I appreciate y'all for coming on , you know , and having a chit chat with me . So first , first , I would like to ask , as we all here are pretty much , you know , kids of the social media era , I would say , and so there is a Twitter documentary that's on Hulu right now . I personally have watched the first two episodes and I'm going to say my thoughts , the first two episodes , and I'm gonna say my thoughts . But I want to ask have you two watched it ? Or , when you saw the announcement for the Twitter documentary , what were your thoughts about it ?

Speaker 2

Okay . So when I saw some of the people they were mentioning , it low-key , pissed me off , because those are not the people that made black twitter a thing .

Speaker 2

Um let me , let me . Let me just say this , like I'm gonna be honest , like before not so newlywed pc , my original my og twitter account was intense desire and um , I just remember , like the people in that documentary used to loathe black twitter and when their tweets would make the black twitter and people would be like y'all sound fucking dumb , they would be like , oh my god , let me delete that black twitter is in my mentions . They didn't want to be associated with black twitter for a very long fucking time until it became lucrative . I would say the shift came right around Mike Brown when activism became lucrative for a lot of those people and then they tried to mobilize through Black Twitter .

Speaker 2

But yeah , a lot of those people in that documentary were not at the beginning phases of Black Twitter . They were not there during you know , twitter after Twitter . They were not there during you know Twitter after dark . They were not there through when motherfuckers would post sad and they'd be like so sad , bro , like it was a lot , like they don't remember J Barbie 20 . Okay , they don't remember Scotty Polo . There is so much shit that they have no idea about and so I really hate that . Whoever green lit this documentary did the lazy thing and tried to find the most visible people possible currently in in , like the black twitter sphere , and even black twitter has you know , different intersex Like , I would say . All those people represent blue check Black Twitter and there's a strong disdain for them , and this is why , because they couldn't even be bothered to give credit where it was truly due . So that's my take on it .

Speaker 3

I'm with Candace on it , Like I watched it . I actually just watched it last night and pretty much I have the same sentiment . I feel like Kid Fury was the only one out of everybody who was on there who deserves to be there .

Speaker 2

I don't even know some of those fucking people .

Speaker 3

I don't . One girl was talking about some . I'm the girl in the meme . I don't know you girl . There's a story behind the meme . We don't care . And Lovey talking about . Why is Elon Musk here , baby ? Why are you here ? Because the streets haven't forgotten how you behave , ma'am . The streets haven't forgotten how you behave , ma'am . We haven't forgotten , and it's so .

Speaker 3

And I I see that a lot of documentaries are going in that direction . Um , not to get too off topic , but just like , for example , um , there is a documentary that's either out already or it's coming , that's supposed to be loosely based off of like the South , and they have Nico from Pea Valley , uncle Clifford like the voice of it . And I'm like , first of all , p-valley is not a true representation of the South . I say that as someone who spent a large part of her childhood in Mississippi and P-Valley isn't , but anyway , he also isn't from Mississippi . So I have a problem , like , if you're going to tell Black stories , a Black face can't tell any Black story . You weren't in the thick of it , you weren't experiencing that , you're not from it . The constant just disregard for people who built what they built and , in this regard , black Twitter being what it became and having people who weren't a part of that speak on behalf of that .

Speaker 1

I don't like that okay so you watched all the episodes or you just watched the first two , like me , for that , I don't like that , okay . So did you watch all the episodes or you just watched the first two , like me ? What was that ?

Speaker 3

I don't know it was more than two . It stopped playing after two . I had it on autoplay .

Speaker 1

Okay , so maybe the third episode is not out yet . Okay , I started watching it Monday and so , of course , course , I'm a person that you know , people talk , talk bad about things or rag on shit , and I'm like , all right , let me check it out for myself and then , you know , come back and like form my own opinion on it and things like that . So I did appreciate the fact that some of us , when I in the previews , when they showed Jemele Hill , it was like , alright , bruh , here we go with this shit , don't really care to hear her opinion about it , but I'm gonna let it slide , because you know , she kind of blew up in that space when you know she left ESPN and you know doing her own thing on social media . I'm like I'm going to give her grace there . I was happy to see Kid Fury in there because I feel like , ok , that's a solid representation . You know , because he's on the read and they talk about it .

Speaker 1

That stems from , you know , quote , quote , unquote , black twitter and things like that . But everybody else , like you know , I didn't know a lot of the motherfuckers were . So , you know , and again , black twitter , like you say , there are different sections of it for sure , um , for me , I appreciate the fact and it might just be a me thing , but like I , really , you know I my first interaction with social media was definitely Black Planet and so , you know , going from Black Planet to Facebook , I ain't really fuck with how they was kind of shitting on Facebook , yeah yeah , it's the thing to like get to the road of Black Twitter .

Speaker 2

You have got to pay . Get to the road of Black Twitter . You have got to pay homage to all the social media platforms that came before Black Twitter . Because , I'll be honest , like when I first came to Twitter , I was running into people that I had ran across in fucking AOL chat rooms Right in .

Speaker 2

AOL chat rooms . That's how long people don't like to talk about it . But social media started long before we got to MySpace . I agree , you have Black Planet , you have Tag , you have those AOL user-made chat rooms and shit like that . All that created the lane . Then you do have to mention MySpace . You do have to mention myspace . You do have to mention facebook , because facebook is integral , because I had , say , I had facebook when you needed a college email to get facebook , and so you know , twitter fed off of all of that . It is a combination of all those different social media sites . So , yeah , I I feel like if you're going to talk about Black Twitter , you got to dig a little deeper . You really do . You got to go a little deeper because some of us have been interacting before we even got to Twitter and the way Twitter became so big is because we was pulling people from other social media platforms to Twitter Like oh , you got a Twitter .

Speaker 2

You should get a Twitter .

Speaker 3

Yes .

Speaker 1

Real shit . Yeah , I didn't like that because by the time Facebook , I was a junior in high school by the time Facebook got to us and you needed your high school email right , and so Not too young out here .

Speaker 1

Kind of somewhat , somewhat , and so , and it could be a very , very St Louis-ass thing , so like when we , you know , when you hear somebody's from St Louis , you ask them the age or question of where'd you go to high school , right , and so with Facebook then accepting people from high school , on that , it just made St Louis a lot more I don't want to say smaller , because there are still plenty of people I have yet to meet , of course , or whatever but it did make it more , I guess , insulated in the fact that , okay , you add these people from different schools or whatever . You found out about different parties on Facebook , you met these people out , you go from there . The way they portrayed it in the documentary was some that's for white people type shit .

Speaker 3

I didn't really fuck with that . You're not going to take away from us how we was going out and Muggs was coming home and uploading a whole digital camera from one night and creating an album and doing that . Like you're not going to take that experience away from us and like Facebook just wouldn't shit yeah , all of the honesty box on Facebook got a lot of people

Exploring Black Twitter History

Speaker 3

ass hooked . Honesty box on facebook got a lot of people asking honesty , box poking like hey , I was the .

Speaker 1

I was poking . I saw something . I liked him . Let me tell you after that . After that second , the third one .

Speaker 1

It was a slide in the this was before they had facebook messages , so you was with that motherfucker like in somebody inbox sending messages like oh lord heavy and so I , um , you know , then it went from like facebook to like the real nigga shit like b-boy and shit like that like niggas would get beat , beat up off b-boy . And then it went to like twitter and so , um , I jumped on twitter in like 2000 . I was on twitter with under another account in like 2009 , but really got my own account in 2010 , and then that's where they really like , uh , really really took off for me and stuff like that . And so them like staying like hashtag this and I'm like nigga that was called trending topics back then like call it .

Speaker 2

What the fuck trending topics call it ?

Speaker 1

what the fuck it was . Back then . We had trending topics and shit like that and some of the stuff I could relate to , like twitter , after dark shit , you know . You know , freaky ass , nigga 69 , god hours and shit like that , you know . So it was in some respect .

Speaker 2

Twitter after dark was crazy boy .

Speaker 1

Facts , facts , oh my god you could come up off something from Twitter after dark like man , don't get me started let's not go down that road .

Speaker 3

Okay , I didn't off that shit .

Speaker 1

You didn't started flirting , flirting on the timeline and motherfuckers be peeping and shit , that was a former life , okay , yeah like came up off some cheeks big facts definitely came up off some cheats .

Speaker 1

But some aspects of it I appreciated it , but some it was just like y'all wasn't really tapped in , like that , like y'all was saying and of course they would try to avoid the super problematic shit because you know , it was a time where people weren't so politically correct and worried about what they were , were saying like it would , it would go up , and I agree that it the shift really came , you know , when black lives matter and things started happening and they kind of they touched on that too , you know , especially with with ferguson and mike brown , which I appreciated . They had a whole section of that in the , the documentary and stuff like that , and then you know , speaking about activists and all of these things . So I had issues with it for sure . Um , y'all were y'all clearly way more tapped into me because , like that was my first time . What's her name ? Louvie love . Like that was my first time .

Speaker 2

What's her name ? Luvi Luvi , that was my first time Luvi . Luvi was around for Black Twitter , but again was one of those people who only got comfortable saying she was a part of Black Twitter once she could monetize it and she created a platform from it . But that is a first generation African woman , that's American and she has said a lot of nasty things about black Americans .

Speaker 3

So don't forget , I'm not one of you niggas , pretty much yeah , definitely so .

Speaker 2

Like I said , it was interesting and I do believe there's a space for it . But if you're going to do this documentary and do it right , you got to really explore the intersections of Black Twitter , because you do have your people like Lovey and you do have like Jameel Hill and those people who they're in black twitter , but they got a sordid relationship with it . Then you got , like you said , the your real problematic people like that , that moment in time on black twitter where niggas was really really nasty to black women , like especially like dark-skinned black women and plus-sized black women , and you could go back and find those tweets where niggas in black twitter was calling serena williams , all types of men and and monkeys and shit like that and all that kind of stuff . And you know , and there are some key players in that situation you know what I'm saying Officially Ice and Joe Budden and all that crew . They were very , very , very heavy into that part .

Speaker 2

But you got to explore all of that if you really want to have a real conversation about Black Twitter . And you got to explore the time of tweeters . I mean hell . You got to explore STL Twitter . Stl Twitter was an entity in and of itself .

Speaker 3

It was .

Speaker 2

It really was . It really was . There are certain names synonymous with St Louis Twitter . Then you had the era of the tweet-ups and the meet-ups . So then you got DMV Twitter . Then you had the bourbon ball era . You had the sundresses and whiskey era Whiskey and sundresses . You got to explore all of that because those are key moments in Twitter . Key moments .

Speaker 1

Yeah , not just the meet me in Temecula shit , which was funny as fuck . I'm not going home .

Speaker 2

That was funny .

Speaker 1

Funny as shit . But yeah , explore the good and the nasty side . Like Muggs was like ruthless , was talking crazy and like you know , so many viral moments and things like that came from that outside of like the stuff that made it into pop culture , which I mean everything Black people do into pop culture , which I mean everything black people do is pop culture . So , like , let's keep it a but . But yeah , I wish they would have touched more into , like not people that would necessarily like these figures and things like that . Like I said clearly , y'all know , because , like a lot of these motherfuckers , I'm like I don't remember none of y'all . Y'all know because , like a lot of these motherfuckers , I'm like I don't remember none of y'all . Y'all wasn't there .

Speaker 2

So no , and but that shows you just how like right you are .

Speaker 2

They wasn't there until they could monetize it until they could make money off of it . Like I said , a lot of those names in that pot in that documentary , they loathed black twitter . They would be like oh look , black twitter about to be in my mentions . Ah , here we go like . And so then one day you look up , they got blue checks and all of a sudden they constantly popping up in conversations . So it was . It was like I see the vision and I think it's important . I I think Black people's influence on social media is very important because , let's be honest , facebook wasn't popping how it popped until Black people were on Facebook . Same thing with MySpace . We have an affinity to go to things and make them better and greater than what they were ever going to be .

Speaker 1

Yeah .

Speaker 2

So yeah .

Speaker 1

So yeah . So , before moving on , give me some of y'all favorite moments from the Black Twitter era . Oh , my . God I mean mine is definitely meet me in Temecula on Christmas fucking day .

Speaker 2

That is one of my favorite moments .

Speaker 1

That shit was so fucking funny .

Speaker 3

The Zola thread was actually fucking wild

Black Twitter

Speaker 3

. And then to see them turn that into a movie , have y'all watched the . Zola movie .

Speaker 1

Okay , I have , I have yeah .

Speaker 2

How was it ? I didn't see it . It was cool . I mean , it's an , was it ?

Speaker 3

I didn't see it , it was cool .

Speaker 2

I mean it's an independent film .

Speaker 3

so I mean you can't expect too much . But I think that the actors that they got to play the parts I think you know they did their just do like I think it was cool , like I'd watch it again , like I don't think it's horrible . Yeah , let's see .

Speaker 2

oh my gosh , there are so many moments yeah , me , me , and to make it was definitely one of a kind , and it was one of a kind because everybody was off work . It was christ Christmas watching two grown ass motherfuckers argue like this Facts over Kobe , which is over Kobe Sports Twitter .

Speaker 1

NBA Twitter is a thing too . Again another sub-sector .

Speaker 2

I know it's a negative moment , but it's still one of my favorite moments . When they caught Vinny at Applebee's , because , after spending years being a extremely mean girl to find out that she looked exactly how she behaved was fucking , it was poetic . Yeah , it was poetic .

Speaker 1

Yeah , old boy sitting on the edge , it was poetic it was poetic yeah , old boy sitting on the edge of that bed , that comes to mind oh my god , deuce Alton Dre .

Speaker 2

He got me blocked to this day because I was like not , you was sitting up there like a sack of laundry , busted and disgusted . I was like Nachu was sitting up there like a sack of laundry , busting and disgusting . Yeah , he got me big blocked .

Speaker 3

Speaking of blocked , wasn't there Terry McMillan who went and blocked all of St Louis Twitter ?

Speaker 1

I wouldn't be surprised . I know Lil Mo would go back and forth with mugs from St Louis Twitter . Who else bro ?

Speaker 3

I feel like because STL Twitter was always on somebody's head , but it's like when you want to go ahead and hit it with the Joni and you can't do it with us .

Speaker 2

You can't Do . Y'all remember Ramblin' ? You don't remember he used to jump in women's mentions and say the most disgusting sexual shit ever . Yes , oh my God . Yeah , that was a moment in time and I think he ended up dying , but Damn . But yeah , it was just like it's been a lot of great moments , like Nigger Navy was fucking hilarious .

Speaker 1

Yeah , they covered that . Yeah , that was hilarious .

Speaker 2

Yeah , that was a good moment .

Speaker 3

I just think it's really dope that some of my like real-life friends , like I , literally met off of Twitter . So when people are like Twitter ain't real life . Um , yeah , it is .

Speaker 2

It is . I met my husband on Twitter . We've been together for 10 years .

Speaker 3

People build friendships , people get in relationships , people get married , people get some cheeks or get their cheeks clapped . Real life interactions are born from Twitter . What do you mean ?

Speaker 1

No , yeah , m my husband's definitely for like fucking For like . I'm not , I'm gonna keep it a buck . My husband's definitely , like you know , maybe like y'all be fucking , y'all followers not now but back then , hell yes .

Speaker 2

Yeah , for sure .

Speaker 1

Making sure you look like your Abby movement . It was all that shit Like you didn't want to . You didn't want to get , you didn't want to get posted . You didn't want to go viral for the wrong reasons . Like it was , it was serious . Motherfuckers used to edit your tweet oh yeah , when you could literally change somebody literally edit somebody's tweets and either like fuck up their whole day or say some wild shit .

Speaker 2

Oh my God , that reminds me of the ghostwriter in Creation when he fake retweeted her saying niggas and it ruined her whole fucking career . It ruined her whole career . That's the stuff that they don't talk about in that Black Twitter documentary . My husband's standing right here Like remember when Ghostwriter fake retweeted Creation and ruined her whole fucking career . Ugh , black Twitter was a doozy and it's still a movement now . It's still a force to be reckoned with in the now , because I'm not gonna even like joke like celebrities , even if they don't participate celebrities from burner accounts or they actual accounts .

Speaker 2

Watch black twitter and you see the fodder . They take the fodder black twitter . Well , we just seen it in the kendrick and Drake beat . When people pull all them tweets of shit that we have been saying about Drake Even I got caught up in one because I had called one of my friends an OV Ho years ago and they pulled up you know tweets where somebody was like ain't Kendrick , don't you wear a size seven shoe ? Like celebrities , be in Black Twitter . They get their fodder from it . Beyonce just did that challenge to Two Hands to Heaven doing a Drea Kelly choreography . Drea Kelly never did no choreography to that damn song . So like it is a powerful , powerful source . I just don't think they discussed it in totality . They can . Hopefully they take some constructive criticism and feedback .

Speaker 1

You would have to get messy with it .

Speaker 2

You would have to get messy .

Speaker 3

Absolutely . You can't dig deep into Black Twitter without getting your hands dirty .

Speaker 2

That's facts .

Speaker 1

That's a fact , yeah , so speaking of getting your hands dirty , y'all saw , with the homie I was getting ready to call him by his character name , Jalil White aka Stefan . Arkell , aka , aka , aka .

Speaker 3

Stefan Arkell aka take me out the group chat aka what do they be wanting from us ?

Speaker 1

y'all he be , want y'all to want him . That's what he want . He want the black ladies to want him . He want what he want . I mean he want the black ladies to walk .

Speaker 3

No , he don't want black ladies . He want the most attractive black ladies , but then he'll settle for the mediocre white women .

Speaker 1

Yeah he want y'all to want him . He want to be a a one of them niggas that y'all used to find over from , like the Steve Harvey show and shit like that oh no , he don't want to be uh , romeo not Merlin .

Speaker 2

Santana .

Speaker 2

I don't know it's just I don't understand . Like , here's the thing some people had it and have always had it and some people grow into it and some people never get it . And we know like it like charisma or , as the kids say , riz . But some people have had charisma and they've just been likable , they've been popular and they've been social butterflies their whole lives . Some , some of us kind of grew into that . I grew into it . I wasn't like super popular in high school , everybody liked me but I didn't go out of my way to be in the know and be in the mix . Now , as an adult , if you don't like me , something wrong with you , hey , like I'm low-key , low-key to life for the party and that's fine . I grew into that . But I don't sit around going like niggas ain't want me back then . Now they want me . Like what ? What are we doing ?

Speaker 3

here . Why are we spending ? Why are we wasting brain cells on who not choosing this ?

Speaker 1

Muggs want to be liked bro , like with him .

Speaker 3

Then it's his problem . If he feels that he's not likable , I don't care , leave me alone mugs from .

Speaker 1

As we have seen stars from that childhood you know what we grew up on childhood stars oftentimes turn out to be like weirdos when they get older they be just like the people who peaked in high school yeah they .

Speaker 2

They crashed the fuck out once you know the thing that's so weird about him is you was on a whole hit tv show when you were younger . What , what else did you need to get bitches , what else like ? And then in a tv show , they , they , crafted it so that you had a bad bitch as a geek and you had a , a sim . I always thought laura was really pretty .

Speaker 2

I don't know why people always put her against myra , but I always thought they was two beautiful black women no , you had it you had , and you had a bad bitch when you , when you was that nigga , what else would you possibly need to get bitches outside of that ?

Speaker 1

Right .

Speaker 2

It's you , it's something about your personality . Because he wasn't a nigga in real life .

Speaker 3

He was only that nigga on TV .

Speaker 2

Like Jay said , he's a weirdo . That's all this is .

Speaker 1

But what's crazy is , though , when all that nigga had suspenders on and ate cheese and had glasses and all this other shit in the tv show and all that nigga did was take off his glasses after jumping in our johnny on the spot and walked out and the crowd would go crazy , eat that shit up and shit like that , and so it was like my nigga , you had the juice when you took off the glasses and shit like that .

Speaker 1

So all you had to kind of do was like adopt that into who you really were . You know I'm saying , and then like go from there . But apparently my nigga , you know like gucci , then like gucci may say , you know , some niggas is born with the sauce . You can't go out there and obtain the sauce . The sauce got to be within you and that nigga ain't had that shit within him . Dog , because you on a TV show popping in the 90s , you should have the pick of the fucking litter , my boy , the pick of the litter .

Speaker 3

That's why he can't have them . White women , though we know they don't like sauce and seasoning and shit anyway .

Speaker 2

You should have had it like bitches on bitches . What ? What is we should have , could have , would have . And my thing is and now , what do you want from us ? What do you want us to do with this information that all they like is drug dealers ?

Speaker 2

okay so , okay so I don't know what you want me to say , my guy that's like to me whenever chicks be like damn , these niggas don't want good girls , they just want a hoe . Yeah , they do . They want a bitch who can suck a golf ball through a fucking straw , like . They want somebody who can take dick like a pair of boxers . Yes , that's what they want . Now either you gonna be that bitch or you just gonna find a nigga that don't really want that . He want what you got to offer . Yeah , okay . And that's church sex . Okay , baby , like that , that dry ass church sex that they tell you you should only be having sex to procreate like with the pillows fluff . Missionary is intimate , though I ain't gonna even lie to you , missionary can get quite nasty it can if you know what you're doing .

Speaker 3

It can , if you know what you're doing . It can also be very stuffy if you don't know what you're doing stuffy . I said stuffy , yes , have y'all niggas said open the windows in this bitch .

Speaker 1

It's stuffy . Have y'all ever niggas said ?

Speaker 3

open the windows in this bitch . It's stuff . Have y'all seen that Tyler Perry ? I hate this Tyler Perry movie , but Temptation with Johnny Smollett and Lance Gross .

Speaker 2

I've seen clips , but when she gave her HIV she got that but that's what she was having .

Speaker 3

She was having very boring stuffy sex with her husband , and then she went out and got some new shit that she wasn't used to and what happened ?

Speaker 1

She fucked around and found the Magic Johnson pack .

Speaker 3

He gave her .

Speaker 1

HIV . Come on now .

Speaker 2

You finna get the wildin' in this motherfucker . The Magic Johnson pack is crazy . Magic Johnson pack , he gave her a . Come on now . You finna get the wild in this motherfucker the magic Johnson pack is crazy , magic Johnson pack .

Speaker 3

All right .

Speaker 1

Well , that's been all folks More on the story nigga .

Navigating Relationships and Dysfunction"

Speaker 2

Be who you are and find the motherfucker that like you for what you got to offer .

Speaker 1

Get that stuffy humpy .

Speaker 3

Yeah , nigga , wait till y'all time about they don't want me because I don't want me because I don't have .

Speaker 1

Okay , now that I think about it , I remember , uh , it was a story like a couple years ago that , um shit , peppa peppa from salt and pepper was like she couldn't date will smith because he had a , uh , squeaky clean image . Y'all remember that shit . It was a while ago . But she just jumped out the window with him and was like , yeah , I didn't talk to him back then because he had a squeaky clean image and I'm like that nigga was like the biggest fucking star on the fucking planet back in the 90s , did we ?

Speaker 3

not see all the different girlfriends he had on Fresh Prince of Bel-Air , all the different dates he had .

Speaker 1

That nigga Lionel was immaculate , bro . Listen . Immaculate . Nia Long fucking Tyra Banks , fucking Lila Rashan Stacey Dash , before she fucking lost her fucking mind . All of them top tier , bro , even Pam Greer . He hit Pam Greer , he knocked down Pam Greer in the show .

Speaker 3

bro , come on man sometimes I think people just be talking just to hear themselves talk that's the other side of the coin , though .

Speaker 1

Then you have , you know , you got the weirdo-ass niggas , and then you got the weirdo-ass women that say , like nah , nigga , like you too nice , Like what does that even fucking mean ?

Speaker 2

That mean those women are riddled with trauma . That's what that mean Typically . That's what it means they just used to being treated like shit . Because I'm going to be honest , outside of a little degradation kink , I don't get off on nobody being mean to me . If anything is going to make me punch you in your shit for real , for real .

Speaker 3

So yeah , that's just trauma , because I I do enjoy princess treatment myself yes , I like , I like princess treatment and I like shit to be calm , because I'm not no ride or die , I'm not where we , where we riding to and why I gotta die like I don't need all that promotion in my life , because I know a lot of people . When they say I don't like nice ass , it's usually because them men ain't in a whole bunch of shit . No , those are the men I want . Take me over there with them . I don't need nobody that's . They always gotta look over their shoulder and you gotta why you gotta move like this . What's going on now ? Give me the nice guy . You can keep all that other mess over there . Like Candace said , as trauma dysfunction . You're used to dysfunction , babe , they're not .

Speaker 2

And also I don't , I like a guy that's nice to me , he could be mean to other people like I . Mean that's why you want to go out to a New York't . I like a guy that's nice to me . He could be mean to other people .

Speaker 2

Like not in like a bullying people way , but yeah , like that's my husband , like he nice to me , like people , like people are always surprised , like cause I joke , like he a stalker , like my husband's a stalker , like if I'm not home by a certain time , where you at what you doing .

Speaker 1

You need to come get you .

Speaker 2

You need what you need . You know what I'm saying . Stuff like that , but he not . No warm cuddly-ass nigga to nobody else , though . It's like me and the kids , that's it .

Speaker 3

He don't go out his way to be mean to nobody , but he also ain't just going out just being open .

Speaker 1

We ain't got a lot to talk about .

Speaker 3

Yeah , that's what it is .

Speaker 2

He take care of his family . That's it . That's it . It's like I don't need you to necessarily be a nice guy , I just need you to understand how to treat somebody you're involved with . I think that's the thing . Most people don't know how to treat the people they involved with . Women will be like he too nice . You just used to niggas treating you any kind of way . I'm going to have to take a pass on that .

Speaker 3

Somebody then told you that somebody hitting you mean they love you and baby .

Speaker 1

That's where it's fucked hitting you mean , they love you and baby . That's weird . That's weird as fuck .

Speaker 2

That's weird as fuck yeah , that's weird , like where .

Speaker 1

I'm from going outside , somebody hit me .

Speaker 2

You want to be fighting to the death honestly , like that's how I was raised . Once you put your hands on the motherfucker , you saying it's war time , it's up there it is .

Speaker 1

Yeah , but now I think I'm a nigga and I'm finna . Fight you , put your hands on the motherfucker you saying it's wartime . It's up there , it is yeah .

Speaker 3

But now I think I'm a nigga and I'm finna fight you .

Speaker 2

I'm not . I'm finna shoot you , to be honest .

Speaker 3

Well , shoot you , yeah , like , whatever I mean , I'm finna defend myself .

Speaker 2

I'm finna defend myself .

Speaker 1

Yeah , yeah , I fuck with it .

Loyalty, Honesty, and Boundaries

Speaker 1

Speaking of trauma , bonding and shit like that , this is going to be the last little Twitter you dig , little social media you dig . You know we talk about today . So earlier on Twitter because his mom is named Twitter there was a comment from a young lady and it went . There was a comment from a young lady and it went .

Speaker 1

My daddy just told me it's easy for a man to walk away when he already been cheating , but a faithful man won't leave you so easy because you all . He got . This hit me different and I responded or quoted it and said bullshit . Look , I can't speak for nobody else , I can only speak for me . But a nigga got like three fundamental rules that I need you to not cross .

Speaker 1

Numero uno is please , don't lie to me . Number two that kind of goes hand in hand with one don't lie to me . Number two that kind of goes hand in hand with one Don't cheat on me . And three ironically we talked about it Don't put your hands on me . Because number one lie .

Speaker 1

I'm pretty reasonable when it comes to shit Like I believe you like , like most shit you can . You can talk out If you give a motherfucker a heads up like let me know this is how you feeling , let me know this is what you own , let me know you know , let me know this is how you thinking and shit like that . But when you lie , you kind of take you not kind of , not kind of . You take the . You know the choice out my hands to to the really decide how I want to move forward and rock with you right .

Speaker 1

And then two , the second one goes hand in hand with one , like so you just said , fuck , you know not saying I'm on no , fucking , uh , cuckold shit like nigga . Nah , I'm stingy with mine . You know I'm saying but like you just went ahead and did what the fuck you wanted to do and fucking consequences be damn . Like you didn't give a , did what the fuck you wanted to do and fucking consequences be damn . Like you didn't give a fuck what you know the consequences was so okay , you , you reckless , I can't fuck with you . And then number three you know , you know I can't put my hands on you like the moment I do that you know it's a whole different story . You know , like I said , i't be fighting , fighting for my life , because you're going to be trying to call you your uncle , your cousin , all this other shit , not saying you know , I'm a punk , or anything like that , because they didn't stop making cousins and uncles when they made yours .

Speaker 1

You know I'm like , but like you know I can't do nothing . You know you put me in a compromising position .

Speaker 2

I'm gonna say people , not just not just women , but men too . You should be really afraid to stay with somebody who stays with you , no matter how you treat them like .

Speaker 2

You should be scared for your life , because everybody has a breaking point and somebody just grinning and bearing it Like you should be scared for your life , because everybody has a breaking point and somebody just grinning and bearing it and and constantly staying , no matter the level of disrespect . You know what I'm saying . Like you said , like you lying to me , I don't care how big or how small the lie is . What are you lying about ? Because I can't whip your ass . All I can do is is you know , I might not like your truth , but you told it to me and then I get to figure out where I'm going to go from here .

Speaker 2

And I think you made a really valid point about people lying . Most people lie because they are afraid of the decision the other person will make once they hear the truth . Yeah , so they will lie to you so that you don't get an opportunity to make a decision that's not favorable to them . Okay , that and I'm not putting up with no shit like that and like , and even I'm on the fence about cheating . All right , like I know , cheating is not a deal breaker for everybody . Um , serial cheating absolutely should be . Okay , you cheated , I found out about it , you deaded it , we worked through it , figured out what went wrong , why the cheating happened , but you keep cheating .

Speaker 2

Why are you like you should be afraid that somebody stays with you despite you constantly playing in their goddamn face like that , because , like I said , everybody got a breaking point and when that person snaps you really want to be on the other end of that . It just seems really , really dangerous , and not just from a physical standpoint , but the way like I used to be that way , like okay , my , get back going to bring you to your knees , but now that shit is too much work , and when people hit their breaking point and they want to bring you to your knees , that's some dangerous shit . Yeah , like both physically , mentally and emotionally , somebody getting back at you to a point where they want to bring you to your knees , like , bring you down to the ground , you're just better off . I'm you , I'm leaving , I'm not going through none of that .

Speaker 2

I gotta get the fuck out of here if you don't respect me . And I've only dealt with an abusive situation like physically abusive , let me say one time and I did end up pulling a gun on that motherfucker . I was like , listen , we could both die . That's , that's where I'm at . I'm not finna be taking no ass whoopings . I , I just am not . I'm grown in the motherfucking , so you know what I'm saying . Like this is gonna be the last time we ever see each other , because if you come near me again , your head good as gone off your fucking shoulders . So it's just can't . I'm , I'm with you there

Respecting Relationships and Self-Worth

Speaker 2

.

Speaker 2

I don't , I don't agree with that . Um , I don't think a man should have to deal with that and I think people should raise their daughters and the women in a family to leave a motherfucker who who's not treating them right , like , and people be like . As long as you don't embarrass me once you like , to me I'm embarrassment is the least of my worries . Respect is you gotta respect me or we just it's nothing . It's respect or nothing . Those the rules . So I'm , I'm glad you , you said something , because , yeah , that's bullshit and that's that's how abusive and dysfunctional relationships thrive , like people thinking they could just do what the fuck they want to do , like nope , not gonna happen .

Speaker 3

I agree , I think I also think it's complete bullshit because , yes , on one hand , you should be teaching like her daddy should have been telling her you don't accept that type of treatment , but also you don't treat nobody like that either , like I'm not . Goofies raising goofies is actually what . What's happening ? Goofies fucking raising goofies . I want people to stop at this big age , stop dealing with people , stop being in relationships . If you , if you don't want and , as cliche as it sounds , I really just want more people to really honor and practice . Treat people how you want to be treated . I don't think that that's so fucking hard . It's really simple , I think . But when start ? When your parents are sitting here telling you goofy shit like this , it's like , and she's talking about something , hmm , hmm , I never thought about it like that . Shut up , no , shut up .

Speaker 1

You know what that ? Goddamn you stupid , shut up . That's what that was .

Speaker 3

Because it pisses me off . Cheating is a deal breaker for me . I've always been the type of person where you can leave . It's that easy .

Speaker 1

If you want to leave .

Speaker 3

If you don't want to be with me , baby , I'm not going to hold you . Be honest , we can talk about it . You can go Fly free like a bird . It you can go for a fleet for fly free like a bird , you can go . So if you decide you want to cheat , baby , that I'm done . It is a deal breaker for me , which means I'm also not going to cheat . I don't cheat because I don't want nobody cheating on me . For me it's that simple and I don't understand why it's not that simple for more people .

Speaker 1

Because people normalize it Like oh , that's just the way it is , that's what everybody does and it's not . You know , there are some I'm not even going to call them unicorns , but there are people out here that like that want to do right that want to fucking do right and not do dumb shit and don't like and actually go by the golden rule of like .

Speaker 1

Yeah , nigga , I don't want that shit done to me . So this is how I'm gonna treat you and you know that's not the the norm , but you hit it on the head , fucking . The wrong motherfuckers are bringing new life into this world and it's fucking up the ecosystem , because it's a lot of dumb motherfuckers out here .

Speaker 1

Man it's a lot of dumb ass people stupidity raising more people so , yeah , I'm just like that's , that's bullshit , bro , and the fact that he told his daughter that shit , like I don't know man , I , we , I don't know man , prayers up , nigga , it's up for everybody . You think it's like I ?

Speaker 3

mean , but it'll be the same type of niggas who are out here telling , telling their daughters you should never be broke as long as you got a pussy between your legs and then shame sex workers and it's like so yeah that's a crazy sentiment to me , that is one of those things that I've never understood .

Speaker 2

As long as my kids have two parents , they ain't going to never be broke . I just would rather my daughter not have to sell pussy to get ahead in life . Baby , come home .

Speaker 3

Listen .

Speaker 2

Bring your big , overgrown , bad decision-making ass on home and let's work through this . Okay , stay out these niggas' faces because everything has a price , except for our condition , our unconditional love of you . Like there , once you leave out of your parents house , there's no such thing as unconditional love . I'm like that's just one of those lessons you got to teach kids . You're never gonna get something for nothing no , and nobody has , ever nobody .

Speaker 3

I don't care how good you think people got your back or whatever . Nobody is going to . As long as you come from , obviously , like a loving household , parents , whatever , nobody is going to look out for you like your parents do .

Speaker 2

Yeah .

Speaker 3

Nobody , yeah .

Speaker 2

And so yeah , telling your daughter that basically , you shouldn't have a wet pussy in a dry pocket book . Yes , you should . You stay out . These motherfuckers face man , don't . One thing and this is I'm . As somebody who's been married nearly a decade now , I don't . I don't expect nothing from my husband that I can't provide for myself , because I understand that life happens and he has never used money as a tool to manipulate our relationship . However , I just know that things happen and God forbid , it happened . But if something happened to him and he couldn't work or he couldn't this or he couldn't that , we still gonna have a life around here the bills are still gonna get paid .

Speaker 2

So that's just one of those things that I'm instilling in my , in my child like don't ever expect none from somebody . Like if you can't provide it from yourself , don't expect it from anybody else , except maybe me and your dad . Like we will go above and beyond for you but be able to secure yourself before you expect somebody to do it . If a man or a woman , I don't know what she gonna have going on when she finally started dating , that's her business . But if they happen to be a provider and could take care of home , that's good . But don't be leaning on nobody for a life that you can provide for yourself , especially when you've been given all the tools to do it .

Speaker 3

Exactly , I'm not doing that . We're not doing that .

Speaker 2

People having kids that don't need to have kids .

Speaker 3

People that are fucking unprotected .

Speaker 2

who should have never fucked unprotected ?

Speaker 3

Y'all are teaching them so many of the wrong things . Like you said , candace , like if you you don't , you're not a pet , so you should not be in pursuit of somebody who wants to adopt and take care of a pet . If we're in partnership , we're gonna make sure that each other is straight and , like you said , like if one person is like , you know if it's the man or whether it be the woman . That's another conversation for another day . But people have this idea that women can't be providers for their family and that's again , that's also wild . But but whatever , you're not a pit . Nobody has to take care of you and if it should be anybody , it should be your parents look at that I'm packing shit .

Speaker 1

Look at y'all . I'm proud of y'all . That's right . Keep that fucking knuckle to yourself . Look at y'all . I'm proud of y'all . That's right . Keep that fucking knuckle to yourself . Yeah , don't be giving that knuckle out to everybody .

Speaker 2

No for sure , which I mean , since we're here and I know you said that was our last Twitter topic , but I felt like this was a . I saw this with one of my followers with her finds , so her name is um , I am Shannon Ali , but she was . She asked like do you really think it's beneficial to tell women to have a whole phase , especially with the way women complain about men and how the sex not good , they don't treat them right ? She was like so why are y'all telling women to have whole faces with men who can't even really satisfy him for real ?

Speaker 2

and I was like damn dragged them , but I never , um , I never had a whole face I I had , I had sex with , I had enjoyable sex , um , but I didn't set out to be like I'm gonna to sit on this dick , this dick , this dick and this dick till I feel healed , because I'm one of those people like I do not believe that the best way to get over one nigga is to get under another one .

Speaker 2

I don't believe that is all , and then telling them like , oh , you got to have a whole face to know what you like how ?

Speaker 1

No , you don , no , you don't .

Speaker 2

No , you don't , Don't . Nobody know your moose knuckle better than you .

Speaker 3

Yeah , I need women to .

Understanding Self-Pleasure and Relationships

Speaker 3

So here's another part of and again it's a much , much deeper conversation . You , bitches , lack self-awareness , so you aren't in tune with yourself , so you don't know how to please yourself . Therefore , you are going out looking for other people to please you and they're not pleasing you because , bitch , you don't know what pleases you .

Speaker 2

Uh-oh .

Speaker 3

Now Spicy .

Speaker 2

I'm just like it's like we have Spicy with the pepper .

Speaker 3

Because , again , like I understand , there are a lot of women who you know , like we have the pepper . Because , again , like I understand , there are a lot of women who you know , they have that argument where it's I'm not being pleased , I'm not being pleased . And while there is a significant number of those that it is health related reasons and that's that's different , a large number of those is because , baby , you don't know what you like , so that the problem starts with there . You don't even know how to please yourself . That's why your sex is so trash . But you know , maybe I don't know being able to make your cookie crumble is crazy damn it's like who better to know how your body works than you babes ?

Speaker 3

I don't know .

Speaker 2

Also , y'all be scared of these niggas too . Y'all be scared to tell them what gets you off , and that's the problem too , Because most of y'all do not come from penetration and y'all need to be honest about it .

Speaker 2

Tell that nigga to rub your clit and get that and get that little . Get that toy to work on that clit while you being penetrated and you gonna shoot to the moon . And Twitter told me that a lot of you niggas don't know how to talk dirty Cause calling . Telling somebody , calling somebody Miss Mamas during sex is fucking crazy . Come on this , miss .

Speaker 1

Mamas during sex is fucking crazy Come on this dick .

Speaker 2

Miss Mamas , Excuse me , what did you just say to me , nigga ? Oh no .

Speaker 3

How many more men to actually understand how many women have ?

Speaker 1

Oh , okay , let me . All right , bro . Yeah , let me . I got a question to ask y'all now that y'all Open the Pandora's , ms Mamas .

Speaker 3

Open the Pandora's box .

Speaker 1

Ms . Mamas is fucking insane , though , bro I would never , ever think in the middle of that to be like , yeah , ms Mamas .

Speaker 2

You finna . Come on this dick , ms Mamas Boy , let me out of here , let me out though . Abort mission , abort mission Abort mission .

Speaker 3

Get off of me .

Speaker 1

Niggas is unhinged . Nah , but what's the Alright man ? So let me I'm going to answer this and then move on to the question I had . So I'm a supporter of motherfuckers , men and women , having their whole phase Like get that shit over with . You know what I'm saying For me , I'll speak for me .

Speaker 1

When I was single and out here rocking out and shit like that when I was younger , I would do it or whatever . I'd eventually find somebody that I really wanted to lock in with and it would go from there . When I got about my mid-20s to lock in with and it would go from there . And then , when I got like about my mid twenties to late twenties or whatever , like I made it up in my mind I was like you know what , this summer I'm gonna just rock out and like when you know , when fall hits or whatever , I'm gonna lock in . You know , but keep it , keep it . A bug . Motherfuckers have rosters and shit like that . You know what I'm saying . You know , juggle maybe one to two people , or you know if you ever to handle more , salute to you . You know , it is what it is or whatever .

Speaker 1

But for me , when I had my little phase , when I got in my last relationship . When I got in my last relationship , before I got in my last relationship , I knew that at some point I was going to get bored . You know what I'm saying . Like I knew that like cause , like when you got a little change in your pocket and you know , you and your , like I said , late twenties or whatever it come easy .

Speaker 1

It ain't like how it is when you a teenager and motherfuckers be or what . It ain't like how it is when you a teenager and motherfuckers be or what , when I was a teenager , scared to do it and shit like that . I don't think that's the case now . You know motherfuckers is doing coke in the bathroom as kids and I'm just like whoa . But like you know , when you was a teenager it was a little harder to come by and shit like that or whatever .

Speaker 1

So when I got , like I said , when I got my late 20s and shit , like I knew I was gonna get bored with it because it was , it wasn't an issue , you know , it was easily attainable . You ain't , I didn't have to . I kept with a buck with them , like I didn't have to do the song and dance and all this other shit . So I'm like a supporter of my fucking is like getting a issue off , you know , because the worst is like you get in a relationship and be like damn , I still want to go out here and wild out like that's like nigga now you , you done . Brought a whole nother person into it and you know you got them thinking one thing yeah you feel in a completely different way .

Speaker 1

You didn't even have to bring this person or soup they head up to believe you wanted to be , you know , exclusive , everything like that . Just wild out and like , at some point you'll be like nigga , like this , it's old , you know , everything runs its course and everything like that . That's just my personal opinion

Navigating Money and Relationships

Speaker 1

. But what I wanted to ask you are y'all . What's the issue with calling y'all big money ?

Speaker 3

don't give me starting names . You like what ? What's up man ?

Speaker 2

no listen , oh my god okay go ahead randy go ahead .

Speaker 3

Usually I can't say always , but from my experience any man who has ever made any comment about the money I have or he assumes I have he been a fucking broke boy and I'm not . Finna , take care of you , point blank period . So I need to distance myself . This negro gonna tell me you work with money , so I know you got it . Siri , call this nigga Uber , come get him , come get him , come get him not Siri thought I was talking to her for real .

Speaker 2

I gotta be so in general , like like prior , prior to my husband , I used to lie about what I do for a living . I just did , because as soon as I would tell niggas what I do for a living , you you could see their eyes gloss over . They light up . Yeah , their eyes gloss over , like they thought , like they was gonna drop dick and I was gonna drop a dollar and I would just be like I'm not , you're not , I can't do that so I used to , I used to .

Speaker 2

I still do lies sometimes about what I do for a living because I just I hate the conversations around it . You know what I'm saying , like , oh yeah , you got money . I don't know I ain't got shit , even if I got two .

Speaker 2

I ain't got nothing , I don't have anything . At the time I had a shoe addiction . You know what I'm saying . Like I like shoes and heels and purses and bags and going places and doing so like I just kind of hate that because I don't do it to men , like I never . I don't refer to men's money . I feel like after we talk , after we spend some time together and you see how I live and how I carry myself , you got to know that you got to be coming with something . I ain't saying break your bank , because once I get to know you and I know what you do for a living , I pretty much know what you're probably capable of financially , because I'm a logical adult .

Speaker 2

I'm not expecting trips to Bora Bora from somebody that's making $60,000 , $70,000 a year . That's unrealistic and , let's be honest , that's the median income for Americans and it might be a little bit lower for black people . So my expectations are realistic . So I just don't even bring up money Now . If you , if you single , no kids making $60,000 , $70,000 and you always talking about do I got $20 till next Friday ? We got an issue here . Where's your money going , babe ? We got an issue here . So that's , that's one of the things . Now my husband jokes with me about it like he'd be like , yeah , yeah , big bank , yeah , but also at the time he was like he was , he was buying me shoes , flying me out , doing shit , like . So it's like the the joke is there . So I don't have a problem with it per se , it just depends on the actions that follow it . Like , are we just bantering back and forth ? Are you calling me big money ? They're asking me do I got fifty dollars till you get paid in three days ? My husband talking about he can use fifty dollars .

Speaker 3

You ain't using a shit from over here . I've definitely been around , men .

Speaker 2

But like that's one of the things , because it's just one of the things , I just don't like it . And I know we're New to being family , jay , but so I am a Dam and levee safety geotechnical engineer For the Army Corps .

Speaker 1

Oh god damn .

Speaker 2

Right , right , and so the titles sound expensive .

Speaker 1

I see why I'm up like the fuck up and so it's just .

Speaker 2

It's just one of those things like I just if it's , if you , really if you , if we both hard-working adults and we play with each other like that , I'm with it . But if you broke and you feel like you found a payday , it's not going to happen .

Speaker 3

I'm so sorry .

Speaker 2

It's not going to happen .

Speaker 3

It's not , baby , I'll be gone before you can blink , and that's the thing . Like listen , I'm a lover girl . So when I'm like locked in , oh baby .

Speaker 2

Yeah , I'm a trick , I'm a trick , I'm a trick , I'm a trick , I'm a trick , I'm a trick , I'm a trick , we trick . Jesus Christ , I'm a trick .

Speaker 3

Yeah , I'm a trick that hard , but I'm also not locking in with a man who I know not been a trick on me too , so let's start there . But usually when that comment comes at me , it's usually from a broke boy , and I'm not even trying to be funny and shady . It's coming from a nigga who really think he got him a come up , and I'm'm sorry , but no no , it's enough .

Speaker 2

Yeah , I am a trick . I'll be honest like I'm a , I'm a I love how men like not just , and not just like .

Speaker 2

I'm gonna like , even with in my , amongst my friends , like you know what I'm saying I'm gonna take you out to lunch , I'm gonna take you out to brunch , I'm gonna buy you drinks . If some you need some , I'm gonna send $20 randomly so you can get you some lunch . But like when it , when it comes to to Mike , oh my god and but that's that . It's because he has never made money an issue . If I want something like I could post something . For example , we follow each other on Twitter . I don't believe in that . Oh , don't follow your significant other on social media . That's because y'all being fucking weird , that's all it is . Yeah , we follow each other on social media .

Speaker 2

I had posted that I wanted a bag for my birthday . I seen him favorite the tweet and then I got it for my birthday . How do you not trick on somebody that that does shit like that ? How do you not show up and show out like , exactly , I know he wanted a playstation 5 . I made sure he had it . Like I don't like to see him in nothing but polo socks and drawers . That's what I like to see my nigga in . That's what he gonna be in .

Speaker 2

So it's just kind of like I am big money when it comes to him . But yeah , sometimes the people be be broke as fuck . Like what's the equivalent with women doing that to a man ? Like how do you handle it ?

Speaker 1

Like so , hmm , I don't . I'm trying to think I've . I have had women be like , and it's so crazy because the the money , the money I make now , I didn't make back then but because of and I'm not saying I was living above my means or anything like that , but like even back then , like I knew how to budget . It's so fucking funny because my homeboys was like nigga , you be having money and like I'll be like even in undergrad , niggas like you be having money . And I'm trying to figure out like nigga , do you sell drugs ? Like how you be having fucking like money .

Speaker 1

But like I , you know I'm not , I wasn't the best at it , but I just always had some type of money . I always worked . I got my first job at like I think , 15 or 16 . And I've always had some sort of job . I stay with the job . You know what I'm saying . So that was never a concern or anything like that . After I graduated , you know , college or whatever , I had miscellaneous jobs here and there or whatever . And then I finally got a decent paying job when I started grad school and that was like the most money I ever made . And I'm like , yeah , niggas , I don't have kids or anything like that . You know my bills . For the most part I can manage and still have a little changeover . And because , like of the presentation , motherfuckers just assume like oh yeah , nigga you big money and shit like that , and I'm like , nah , it's just like I know how to manage that shit for the most part .

Speaker 3

Can I add to that James ?

Speaker 1

What .

Speaker 3

I feel like sometimes people be like right on the outside and people see how you like .

Speaker 1

That's another thing too .

Speaker 3

I've told you before , like james spoils like people , he like his people . James was full of it's like no questions asked , it's not a thing . So I feel like people just want to be gang and I'm sorry , babe , you're not gang , so I don't know and I get it .

Speaker 1

That's the thing too . Like they see me , you know , with you , or see me with Randall , or see me with the boys , and shit like that . Like , oh , y'all niggas got it , and shit like that . It's because we fucking take care of each other yeah , you know what I'm saying .

Speaker 3

Like we're adults .

Speaker 1

If you're out with me , I'm going to make sure we have a good time . I'm going to make sure you , straight , you know one band , one sound ass nigga . That's the shit . I be on like we gonna be cool we gonna be cool or whatever . But yeah , there are times where like women will be like I know you got it , I see you big money and I'm just like damn nigga , I do got it and you can't have it .

Speaker 3

Now what ?

Speaker 1

it be small shit . It'd be small shit . It ain't like there's something extravagant , like I'm showing I'm not a flashy ass , nigga like that . Like yeah , like I like , I like sneakers too , I like shoes too , so it may be a picture of my shoes and my father's like oh yeah , big money , you got it and shit like that . Like my homies I know I know are joking so I don't take it serious , but it be like sometimes you gotta build that rapport be like yeah , I see what you got going over there , like it's not that .

Speaker 1

Now I will say , if I'm fucking with you like that , call it what you want , it ain't tricking . If you got it , I will spend some money on you , like before I got you know with my current girlfriend or whatever , like we have been rapping . I can't remember how long we have been rapping it had been a few months or whatever . And for Mother's Day I got her something we weren't even like officially in a relationship but because I fucked with her and because it was reciprocated , like we would go out on , you know , go out , I would pay . You know , blase , blase , take care of everything . And then you know she would return the favor or whatever , because she wasn't fucking weird .

Speaker 3

Yeah .

Speaker 1

It made me more comfortable with being like you know what ? I'm going to buy you some shoes . I'm going to buy you some heels . I'm going to buy you this bag . You know what I'm saying ? It made me more willing to do that versus a motherfucker . I hate a motherfucker . That's weird . Like don't be fucking weird , or whatever Like I owe you something .

Speaker 1

Yeah , like if I fuck with you like that cool , I will buy you something . You know what I'm saying . So it's , it's , it's along the same lines

Navigating Relationships and Materialism

Speaker 1

or whatever . And now that we you know together , she spoiled as fuck . But again , it's because she's not weird , she don't really ask for shit , and because she and because don't really ask for shit , and because she don't ask for shit , I'm more likely to do it . Yeah , so it's a balance , for that for sure , you know what I'm saying . But I also know that if it's something I really wanted , she would get it for me .

Speaker 3

Yeah .

Speaker 1

But I'm also a motherfucker that will get it for myself before somebody can get . Get it for me , yeah , but I'm also a motherfucker that , like , would get it for myself before somebody could get , nobody get nothing yeah yeah , I'm like the most difficult person to shop for for like christmas .

Speaker 1

Because of that reason , you know , I'm saying like because I'll just go out and get it . But yeah , like don't , don't be weird , and I'm more likely to do this shit . And then , like I said , with friends and friends and family , like it ain't , it , ain't shit , you can't take this shit with you when you go . So it's like why not fuck it ? We ball ? So yeah , but I just wanted to know because , like I didn't call it's so funny . I didn't call women big money before but have never like like insinuated I wanted something for them from them or wanted them to do something from me . And then I see them post like every so often like a meme or something will come across about like don't call me big money and I'll be like damn , I hella caused you big money in the past .

Speaker 2

But yeah , it's the rapport . Like once you build that rapport , you know I'm saying it's , I'm I'm good with it , but I'm all about , I swear I talk about this all the time . People don't really get to know people in their lives , like romantically or otherwise , and so they never really build that rapport with them . Like Like I was just saying earlier , when me and Randy recorded , like Randy is not my friend , that's going to talk on the phone for an hour , two hours at a time . Like I just know her . Like you don't get 30 , maybe 40 minutes tops and she'd be like all right , love , I'm gonna let you go , I'm gonna go grab me something to eat and I'll talk to you later . That I just know , I know that and I respect that .

Speaker 2

But I do got some homegirls . Like when we get on the phone it's about to be up for an hour at least , just fucking being ridiculous , like being a fucking nightmare clowning . But I know that about the , about my friends . So yeah , like if me and you were getting cool jay and you'd be like what's good , big money , I'm not gonna be like this broke ass nigga just call me big money . I'm gonna be like nah , that's you , you got it , let me hold something like but you , the rapport , gotta be there , and a lot of these niggas don't be having that rapport .

Speaker 2

They really be homeless they really do , and also , I'm not really gonna care , so you can sleep on the beach here . Don't the beach close at certain times ?

Speaker 3

yeah , because the parks definitely do , so I would assume they probably treat the beach the same way . Right , but no like , if you're my friend , like Candice said , you have that rapport . Like James , be out here lying on me all the time telling people I live in a fucking penthouse . Nobody actually believes that I live in a penthouse .

Speaker 2

First , of all nobody believes but , to be honest , definitely give big money vibes , be like , yeah , I'm at the airport , I'll talk to you later I was just checking in .

Speaker 1

Okay , girl , put your passport up , I up and decided to go to Paris this weekend .

Speaker 2

What the fuck Like damn nigga .

Speaker 1

I needed some time off , so I'm about to take three weeks off and I'll be like I'm going to send Frankford down to let you into the penthouse .

Close Friends Etiquette on Social Media

Speaker 3

Oh my God , but my point was like Candice said , when you have that rapport it's shits and gigs , nobody cares . We joke about it all the time James got a . You can't make me believe that James don't have a personal jeweler on speed dial , because every time this man pop out for some event he got a new piece of ice . So oh , we real quiet now , not you on mute that's what I want the fuck to happen .

Speaker 3

You stop fucking lying but no , but if I know that you have , like , some type of interest in me , like and , and that those are the first things that are coming out of your mouth , I'm running in the other direction because we haven't gotten there yet . You don't know me enough yet to know that when I'm locked in I'm tricking , but you can't even get there Cause you talk too much .

Speaker 2

Yeah .

Speaker 3

You talk too much . Now you done missed out . Sorry .

Speaker 2

Can I ? I just this is random and I . This might not be the right time to say it , but I need to say it . Stop putting . Don't put me in your close friends If you ain't showing that worth showing . Just leave me in your regular shit . I don't gotta be in your close friends if you not showing the good shit , baby Leave it , take me out of that baby .

Speaker 2

You don't gotta put me in your close friends to post no chicken recipe . For sure , real shit , put me in your close friends if you finna get the fucking . That's what close friends for .

Speaker 1

If I wasn't cool with a couple of the homies , I'd be like , yeah , man , take me out . It'd be . It'd be bible study and all type of shit you should be able to remove yourself from somebody close friends .

Speaker 2

If that's a feature that you like , instagram , that's a feature you should have . Let me remove myself from your close friends . Cause you not showing me nothing ?

Speaker 1

like I do not need to see your kicks of the day in close friends .

Speaker 2

Yeah , I'm here for . Why is that in close friends ? I'm here for filth .

Speaker 1

That's what .

Speaker 2

I thought close friends was about Filth .

Speaker 1

Speaker 2

Yeah , you , finna , bust somebody back down . I want to see that in your close friends you frying chicken and you and you don't want nobody to know you seasoned your flour . I don't give a fuck about that because I can cook . Thanks , hey , I just need it . I'm so sorry . I didn't mean to be realist , but that's been on my heart for a while .

Speaker 1

I got a lot of motherfuckers on my fucking feed . That be like . I don't want to see your family in here . I'm here for the yam don't do that .

Speaker 2

I don't need listen . If you gotta post your kids and close friends , just don't post them . If you getting that private , send them pictures to them . People through you getting that private , send , send them pictures to them . People in it through our message . Just send it one by one . But I don't need to see your kids and your close friends like these is not celebrity kids . We is regular nine to five ass niggas . You don't gotta post them kids in your clothes real shit .

Speaker 1

Speaker 2

I don't know heathen shit where . Where is it ? Yeah , let me see you looking good as fuck and finna , get your back blew out . I want to see that , miss Mamas .

Speaker 1

Miss .

Speaker 2

Mamas , miss Mamas , I don't want to see what you wore to work today , unless you're a stripper . Then I want to see what you wore to work .

Speaker 1

Unless you finna do an OnlyFans scene .

Speaker 2

That's the only time I want to see what you wear to work . But , ma'am , I don't need to see you in your slacks . I'm about to put on a pair of slacks and go to work too . We good over here . I appreciate that shit .

Speaker 1

Like I said I be seeing it because I'll be . I mean , like I said I'll be seeing it and I'll just be like bruh , you could've I don't care , I don't care , I'm glad you good .

Speaker 2

But like yeah , this could've been on the regular timeline one thing about my husband and it's so funny cause , like a lot of women get really weird about sites like instagram whole time . Baby , it's a , it's a place for pictures and videos and it's a place for pictures and videos you want to see . So like sometimes , like when when mike's scrolling instagram , he still follow a lot of strippers and shit and boy after about , after about what ? About about 11.30 at night them motherfucking stories .
