We start at 10 am every Sunday in the United States
Turn with me to Genesis chapter number 13. Genesis chapter number 13 as we continue with our posture series, The Posture of Obedience. It now takes us to Genesis 13, verses 1 through 4. Get your Bibles and let's read verses 1 through 4. And it reads as thus. And Abram went out, or Abram went up out of Egypt, he and his wife and all that he had, and Lot was with him into the south. And Abram was very rich in cattle, in silver, and in gold. And he went on the journeys from the south even to Bethel, unto the place where his tent had been at the beginning between Bethel and Ai, unto the place of the altar which he had made there at the first. And then Abram called on the name of the Lord. Put your Bibles down and let us go before our Heavenly Father. Heavenly Father, we come first to say thank you for allowing us to gather in this place in this season. Now, God, as we dive into your living word, we ask that you grant us inspiration, revelation from your scriptures. We ask that the words that was read leap off the page. And we thank you for this living document that will lead and direct us. God, as we sit attentively to what you are going to say to us, I ask that you touch the ears of the believer. Touch the ears and the hearts of the non-believer. That they may feel and receive what you have to say on this morning. Open up their hearts, God, their minds. That they receive the fullness of your joy and the understanding of the words that you are about to speak. God, I ask that you hide me behind the cross. That you don't let them hear me or see me, but let them hear and see you. I yield my mind, my body, my spirit, everything about me belongs to you. Use me for your glory, God. Show up on the scene like never before, God. We ask that you rest, rule, and abide this word. And that you sit with the people, God. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen and amen. As we continue with our theme series, the posture of obedience, I want to deal with the thought from call to the altar. From call to the altar. I would like to start this message off with a quote from an unknown author. God's call on your life will lead you to unfamiliar places. Just don't forget the altar. Just don't forget the altar. When Abram left Egypt, the Bible tells us he was rich in cattle, in silver, and in gold. When he returned to the land, he went back to the very place that he had built the altar and sought the Lord. Ladies and gentlemen, whenever God brings you out, don't forget to thank him. Don't forget that it was the Lord who brought you out. It does not matter what it looked like when you were in it. When you come out, your first stop should be the altar. Notice now something here. Right now, Abram sought the Lord. And as soon as he sought the Lord, trouble began to stir. This is not a coincidence. How many of us is that as soon as we start to seek God's face, here comes trouble right around the corner. As soon as God begins to bless, here comes something right around the corner. As soon as God begins to speak, here comes something right around the corner. When God begins to move and God begins to bless, and when God begins to speak, be sure that the enemy will begin to move. The enemy will come to try to counteract what God is trying to do in your life. Every time there's a shift in your spiritual posture, there's going to be a shift in the opposition that will come to try to make you move off where God has placed you. What do you do when blessings and conflict arrive at the same time? How do you handle your blessing and then turn around and face a consequence or a conflict right after you receive a word? How do you handle your blessing that is now come after or before your conflict? But watch this. Abram, now, after he sought the Lord, didn't worry about what was going to happen next. Yes, conflict will arise, but you got to remember that God is still in control. The issue that arose was not between Abram and his nephew Lot, but the strife arose between Abram's herdsmen and Lot's herdsmen. Because the land that they were on could not sustain them both. The problem was not personal between them, it was positional. There was not enough room for both of them to grow right where they were. Ah, sometimes, in order for God's destiny to be filled in your life, he would allow strife to become to become between you and those closest to you. Not because he's cruel, because you didn't let go the first time. Remember when God spoke to Abram in Genesis 12 and 1. He told him to leave his family, his country, and his father's house. Abram obeyed the command to leave the country and his father's house, but he carried Lot with him. He left the land, but he did not, but he held on to relationships. He left where God told him to go or to move from, but he held on to the relationship. And what God now is doing with the strife that he put between Abram's and Lot's herdsmen was finishing what Abram's obedience left uncomplete. Ah, ladies and gentlemen, when God gives us a command, we are to follow God's command wholeheartedly. Why? Because if we follow it partially, what will happen is as we move down the line, God is going to have to deal with what we left uncompleted. God is going to have to deal with what we left behind. God is going to have to deal with us about not doing what he told us to do the first time. So to save yourself some headaches, to save yourself some heartaches, to save yourself from having to deal with it later in life, just do what God said do the first time. God will revisit the areas of your life where you obeyed or your obedience was partial. He will create circumstances that will force the separation, and you will have to be a willing participant in order to make sure that you follow God's obedience to a T. This is not punishment to you, but it is positional to you. See, because where God is trying to take you, everybody can't go. I'm gonna repeat that again. Because see, we try to take people where God is trying to take us. And sometimes God is saying, that person can't take, you can't take that person where I'm taking you. That person can't handle what I'm about to show you. That person can't deal with what I'm about to show you. That person can't handle what you're about to go through. So God is saying, sometimes you gotta separate. And it's not personal, it's just where I'm trying to position you. Yes, it may hurt, but it's necessary. Notice now, Abram, not in anger, but in a peaceable or peaceful and humble spirit, approached Lot and gave him first choice of the land. He said, If you go east, I will go west. And if you go west, I will go east. The direction or the choice of direction was totally up to Lot. Abraham did not demand, Abraham did not pour rank, he did not remind Lot that God has spoken into my life and he promised me the land. He said, you just simply choose to go where you want to. See, that is posture of a man who trusts God to protect everything that belongs to him. No matter what direction someone else chooses to go, don't let it affect where God tells you to go. If they say similar relationship or they start to cry out, why are you doing this? Tell them it's not personal, it's positional. I still love you, I still have you in my heart, but I must do what God tells me to do. I must go where God tells me to go, and I have to do it, even if it means us not being together. It's not personal, it's positional. Look at your neighbor and say, Don't take it personally, don't take it personally. Lot chooses or chose to go east towards Sodom and Gomorrah, because the land looked well, it was well watered, it was prosperous in his eyes. And Abram dwelt westward in the land of Canaan. Lot chose by sight, Abraham Abram stayed by faith. This separation had to be hard on Abram and Lot. More so on Abram, because Abram was the older of the group. Abram was the elder statesman of the group. Abram had a special place in his heart because he took him when God said, leave everything behind. Abraham was emotionally attached to Lot. Abram had a soft spot in his heart for Lot. This is why Abram carried him from the beginning. As Lot walked away, he walked away bitter. He walked away saddened. But Abram walked away the same way. Bitter, saddened by the breakup. Why? Because there was history there. There was love there. But God's purpose required separation. Ladies and gentlemen, don't let your emotional ties keep you from destiny. Don't let emotional or person persons or people keep you from destiny. Don't let relationships God told you to let go keep you from destiny. Don't let emotional ties keep you from destiny. Because emotional ties will keep you bound. And God is trying to free you from everything that will keep you from Him. Some of us, the hardest thing that we ever have to do is leaving someone. Because we get to the place where we feel like we are betraying them. We get to the place where we feel like we need to hold on to them. Sometimes we gotta say, God, where's this relationship going? Because every time you begin to move, they are a hindrance and a block to me. Every time I get a word from you, every time you speak into my life, they are always on the negative side of what you're trying to tell me. God is saying, I'm trying to separate you, but you can't let your ties hold you down. God is saying, I'm trying to move you, but you're letting the ties grip you and bring you back to where a place I'm trying to deliver you from. God is saying, step out on faith. Yes, I know it hurts. Yes, I know it's hard, but it's necessary for you. I'm trying to position you into a place of freedom. I'm trying to position you into a place where you will receive who I am. I'm trying to move you into a place. And you keep running back to those old relationships, those old ways, those old things. Some of us, the hardest thing you'll ever do in life is walk in obedience to God. Why? Because God will tell you stuff that doesn't make sense to you. God will tell you things to do, and you can't see it happening with your own eyes. But God is positioning you and developing your posture of obedience that you'll be able to do what He says do without knowing the outcome. Why? Because God already knows the outcome, and all you gotta do is walk in what he tells you to do. When God says it's time, you must trust him enough to let go of those old relationships or those relationships that is holding you back. Now, watch what happens here. As soon as the separation takes place, the Lord shows up. Notice that he did not show up prior to them two being together. He showed up after they separated. He then shows up, God, to tell Abram, lift up your eyes and look from the place there where you are. Look northward, southward, eastward, and westward. All that you see I will give to you. Not just will I give to you, but I give it to you and your descendants. What God has been holding back was released in the moment that Abram obeyed and separated. Ah, God tells Abraham, rise and look at the word arise. It means to get up. It means that Abraham or Abram, sorry, was either in a kneeling or sitting position. It means that he was low. He was in a posture of humility. Perhaps he was being weighed down by the emotional turmoil of separating from Lot. Or he was just emotionally drained because the conversation or the emotional tone it takes to separate weighs on you. Ladies and gentlemen, even though he was emotionally down, even though his emotions were all over the place, God told him, Arise. Ladies and gentlemen, when you are down, when you are out, when your emotions are all over the place, the spirit of the Lord will tell you to arise. Don't stay there. You can be there for a moment, but God says, get up. Why? Because if you stay there, other things will have to take effect on your life. So, no, I'm not gonna let you sit there in your emotional state. I'm not gonna let you sit there while you're low, where other things can creep into your spirit and just harden your heart against me. No, no, arise. I got something to tell you. Ah, ladies and gentlemen, don't get stuck in your emotional state. Don't get stuck on your knees crying for somebody else. It's time for you to get up and arise. Why? Because when God says get up and arise, he's about to tell you something. When God said get up and arise, he's about to show you something. When God said get up and arise, be on the lookout that a blessing is right around the corner. But you can't see the blessing from your knees. You can't see the blessing when you're emotional state. This is why he says, Arise. Ah, ladies and gentlemen, if you are going through an emotional state, if you're going through something that is hard and you can't find your way out, the word of the Lord says, Arise. Let me deal with that. Let me go forth with that. Let me tell you what you're arising from. You're arising from out of the mud. You're arising from out of that place. You're arising from out of your depression. You're arising from where a place where you work to a place that I'm going to take you. Arise. But see, the enemy will try to keep you there. The enemy will try to make you stay there. God is saying, don't get caught up in that. Don't get caught up in what you see. Don't get caught up in how you feel. Yes, it may hurt. Yes, you might be disappointed. Yes, you might be weary, but God says, Arise. Ah ah, ah, see, see, see, God, I think it see when you begin to arise, you're telling that situation, you can't hold me. When you begin to arise, you tell that situation, yes, it hurts, but I'm still getting up. When you get into that situation, and that situation holds a hold on you, and you say, God, get me up out of this place. Arise. Get up. Because what happens is when you begin to arise, you begin to shake off whatever it is. You begin to shake the shackles off your feet. You begin to shake what God is telling you to move off of, and you begin to arise and start walking in your destiny. Ah, ladies and gentlemen, the enemy will always try to emotionally tie you to something that will hold you back. But God says, Arise. God says, get up from there. God says, I got a plan for you. I got something for you to do. You can't get there while you're down there emotional. You can't get there down there while you're bound. I need you to arise. And when he gets up, God tells him to look. And then right after he tells him to look, he tells him, walk the land. Whoa. Ah, ah ah ah, God, I thank you because when you get up from where you're at, you gotta begin to walk towards Jesus. You gotta be able to get to walk towards Jesus. He said, walk the land. Start walking around that territory. Start walking around that house. Start walking over that emotional pitfall. He tells Abraham, walk the land. Walk the length of it, the breadth of it, or the width of it. For I have given it all to you. Uh, ladies and gentlemen, the enemy will try to keep you down because he understands that when you arise and you begin to walk, you are walking towards your destiny. This is why he tried to keep you tied. This is why he tries to keep you down. This is why he tried to keep you bound. He doesn't want you to walk into your destiny. But ah, God says, Arise and walk. Arise, walk through the lift of the land. Arise, walk towards your destiny. Arise and get up. I got plans for you. Arise, get up, I got things for you to do. Arise and walk. God tells Abraham, put your feet on it, for it has been declared to you. If you can walk on it, you can have it. But if you don't walk through it, it won't be yours. See, the enemy doesn't want us to walk where God wants us to. Why? Because I said it last week. When you start to walk, you're making spiritual markers. So he wants to keep you spiritually bound. So when you start, when you don't move, you can't put markers up. But God is saying, as you walk, I'll put markers down. As you walk through the land, I'm putting spiritual markers down. But you can't put spiritual markers down when you're tied or bound. Here is what makes this statement so powerful. The land was inhabited already. There were people living there. The nations were established there. But God said, I have given it to you. Not I will give it to you one day, not that I'm thinking about giving it to you one day. He said, I've given it to you, which means past, present reality. God has already settled it in heaven, and which and which you have to wait for to be settled on the earth. Ah, ladies and gentlemen, whatever God spoke over to you over your life, He already spoke it in the heavens. And it has to make its way down to the natural. So he has spoken it in the heavens. It's gonna come down and manifest itself in the natural. We just gotta wait and be positioned right. So when it does happen, we're in the right place. Ah, ladies and gentlemen, the reason God is saying arise is because he understands and he sees I need to get you in the right position. I need to get you in the right posture. Because I spoke it in the heavens, and I have to get you in the right place so it can be manifested in the earth. I need to get you in the right position. So when I start to manifest it in the earth, it's there waiting for you. So God is saying, arise with your posture of obedience. Get in the right position. So when the blessings come down, you can receive it. Don't let anybody walk, talk you out of your blessing. Don't let anybody talk you out of what God gave you. Position. I don't know who that's to, but God said, get in position. Get in position so I can bless you. Get in position because I already spoke it. Get in position so when a blessing starts coming down, you're already there. Look at your neighbor and tell them, get in position. Get in position. How many of us have God tell or told us what we can have? And yet we have not walked into it. The promise has been spoken. The word has been declared over your life, but your feet have not moved towards it. When God tells you what he wants you to have, he's not just making a statement. He's waiting for your faith posture to line up with his word. He's speaking so your faith can arise to it and meet it. The Bible tells us in Romans chapter number 10, verse number 17, faith cometh by hearing, and hearing the word of the God or Word of God. Faith is not built on wishing. Faith is not built by hoping something or something works out for you. Faith is by hearing what God said and allowing the word to take root in your life and your spirit until it becomes the loudest voice in your life. But too often, when we hear what God has told us, and then allow other people to come and convince us that we cannot have it, or we cannot have what God told us. Someone speaks doubt into your destiny, someone questions the timing that God has placed in your life. Someone looks like, or someone looks at your circumstance and says, you don't look like you're going to make it, and it does not look like it makes sense. And if you're not careful, their voice becomes louder than the voice of God. But when you start walking by faith, and when you start listening to God's voice instead of those that are talking to you, God will begin to show up. And what happens when he shows up, he'll shut them down. Ah, ladies and gentlemen, when the voice of God is louder than those that are contrary to what he says, those voices now become mute. God said those voices won't, you won't hear them anymore. Why? Because all you hear is my spirit voice in your ear. We gotta learn in our spiritual answers, block out anything that God did, that the word, that the world is saying to us, and keep only what God is speaking into our ear. I don't know who I'm talking to, but you're listening to outside influences too much more than you listen to the word of God. You're listening to those who have no influence in who you are. You're listening to those who does not invest in who you are, more than you're listening to the one who saved you, more than the one who filled you with the Holy Ghost, more than the one who died for you. Ah, ladies and gentlemen, don't let no other voice become louder in your life than God's. Don't let no other voice outweigh what you're doing in your life with God. Don't allow the enemy's voice to become louder and more stronger than the word of God spoken over you. Ah, because the closer you get to God, the closer you get to heaven, the closer you get to his spirit, the lower the volume of the noise gets. We gotta be like Jesus, close the door. Why? Because if you close the door, you block out the noise. And some of us has to learn how to close the door. Ladies and gentlemen, if God made you a promise, know with absolute surety that it will come to pass. No matter who disagrees with it, no matter who can't see it, no matter how long it takes. The Bible tells us in Numbers 23 and 19, God is not a man that he should lie, nor the Son of Man that should repent. He, as he said it, will he not do it? What God spoken over your life is not up for debate. It is not subject to others' opinion, it is not canceled by the delay. But what God said he will do, he will do. As painful as the separation was, it was necessary for where God is taking you next in your life. Notice what happens after the separation. Lot found himself in the middle of a war between nine kingdoms, five kings against four. As the battle raged, Lot and his family were captured. Not because Lot did anything wrong in that moment, it was because of his proximity. Ah, let me stop here. Have you ever been caught up in something because you were close to it? Have you ever got caught up in a in a whirlwind because you was right there when it happened? He was living in the wrong place, and the consequences of his position caught up with him. Yet one man escaped, and he ran back to the only help he knew, Abram. Ladies and gentlemen, if you find yourself in a battle, and because of your proximity, you got caught up in the chaos. If you happen to escape, run back to the one who helped you escape, run back to Jesus. The Bible tells us in Psalms 41 and 46 and 1 that he is a very help in the present time of trouble. Don't run to the world. Don't run to where you got, don't run back to where you came from. Run to the one who has the power to bring you out. Tell the servant tells Abram what happens. Abram does not hesitate. He arms himself with 318 of men from his house. And he goes on a mission to rescue Lot and his family. Does that not sound like Jesus? Ah, when you were when we were in trouble deep in our sin, he rounded up the angels from heaven and said, I have a mission to go save them. I have a mission to complete. I have to go back to where they are. I have to rescue them and bring them back unto myself. I have to go get them. Why? Because I still love them. I have to get them, why? Because I hear their cry. I have to get them, why? Because I have a passion and I need them to know I still love them. Even though we cannot be together, even though I have to separate myself, I cannot let them die in their sins. So I have to go get them where they're at and bring them back to me. This is what Jesus did for us on Calvary Cross. Even though we are separated by sin, even though we are separated by what Adam did in the beginning, God said, even though that happened, I have a mission to come rescue them. I have a mission to come get them. And my mission is to go to the cross. Just like Abram did right here. He took 318 men. He went back on his mission to go get Lot. God said, if you fall from grace, if you fall back into sin, call on me and I'll come get you. I'll come rescue you. I'll show my love to you. I'll show my passion to you. I'm here when you call. Abram did not hold a grudge over the separation. He did not say, You chose Sodom, that's your problem. When the call came, Abraham moved. Because the posture of obedience also includes the posture of compassion. He still loved Lot. And it was because of that love that he went to rescue him. Ah, see, see, see, oh God, I thank you. When Christ went to the cross, he was doing it because he was being obedient to the Father. But that also included the posture of compassion towards us. Yet while we were yet sinners, he died for us. What more compassion do you need than that? That when you were dying in your sin, that the posture of compassion consumed Christ, that he said, I'll put my life on the line for you. I'll put my arms stretched out for you. They'll nail me in my sides for you. Blood will come out of my ribs for you. Ah, they'll put thorns on my head. I'll bleed for you. I'll die for you. Just because my compassion and my posture of obedience to the cross. He, Abraham, went to rescue Lot because he still loved him. He went and because of his love and because of the posture that he was sitting, he was able to rescue everything and recover Lot and his family. Upon returning from the battle, two things happened. First, Abraham meets a man by the name of Meltezedek. He was a king of Salem, the priest of the Most High. Meltzegat brought him bread and wine and blessed Abraham's victory that God had just given him. And Abraham gave Meltzekech a tithe of all that he had. Ladies and gentlemen, when you come out of a battle, you will have scars. But with God on your side, you will come out. And when you come out, don't forget to give back something as a sign of appreciation for what the Lord had just done. Giving, you're giving after the battle declares, or battle states and declares that I did not do this on my own strength. I did not do this by my own authority. I did not do this with my own hand. God, your hand was on me. Second, and this is critical, after Metazadek blesses Abraham, the king of Sodom shows up and says, Give me the people and take the goods for yourself. Isn't it amazing? That when you are witnessing to somebody to get them out from their condition, here come the enemy and say, Take this, but leave me the people. This is what the king of Sodom said to Abram. He says, Take the goods all I wanted the people. Isn't that what the enemy told Jesus when he took him on the highness of the mountains and tested him? He says, If you be God, come from, or when you be God, come from over here, and he says to God, he told Abram, or he told God, if you go to this mountain, he took him up to the wilderness out of after Jesus prayed. He took him to the wilderness. And he tempted Jesus. Right after Jesus fasted and prayed for 40 days. He said, I give you all this land. He said, I give you all the land, all the riches. I give you everything. All you got to do is bow down and worship me. Everything I have will be yours. And Jesus said, You shall not tempt the Lord your God. And Satan flee from him. See, ladies and gentlemen, don't get tricked by the enemy offering you diamonds and riches. Don't get tricked by the enemy trying to say, I'll give you or take what this is, but leave the people. No, no, no, no. God said, I want the people. Why? Because the people belong to me. You can have the riches. You can have everything. I don't need the riches. I just want the people. I don't need the riches. I just want my servants. I don't need the people. I don't need the riches. I don't need the diamonds. I just want obedience from my people. See, Abraham just won a great victory. He recovered everything. And now the king in the very place was offering him wealth. See, the enemy will always try to attach himself to your blessing. Right after God blesses you, he shows up with an offer saying, Don't take what God has given you. Just come back to me. You need to look the enemy in the face and say, I got everything I need in Jesus. I got everything I need in God. I don't need what you have. He's blessed me enough. I don't need what you have. He's given me everything I need. I have life, I have health, I have strength, and I have my sound mind. And if I have everything I need, whoo! The Bible tells us he will supply all my needs with his riches and glory. See, but we gotta understand that even if we don't have wealth right now, there's a place made out of gold sitting and waiting for us. Even if we don't have it right now, there's a place that riches are beyond concern or beyond our belief. And that place is called heaven. Where the enemy can't touch you, where riches are sitting there waiting for you. He said, the riches of the Lord out of no sorrow. And as long as I got Jesus, everything will be alright. Ah, you need to look at the enemy and say, I got Jesus, and that's enough. Look at what Abraham said to him. This is the one of this is the most powerful declarations in the entire Old Testament. Is that I will raise my hand to the Lord, God most high, the possessor of heaven and earth. I will take nothing from the tread to the sandals and straps, and I will not take anything that is yours lest you have said or can say that I made Abram rich. Abram refused to let anyone other than God take credit for his blessing. Ah, ladies and gentlemen, when God blesses you, don't give any credit to anybody else, but give credit back to the one who blessed you. Ah, see, see, see, everybody or some people will give you something and say, I blessed you. Won't you acknowledge that I blessed you? No, no, no, no, no, no. God placed it on your heart to bless me, so I gotta give credit to the one who placed it in your heart to give me something. Ah, ladies and gentlemen, don't take credit for what God is doing in your life. Don't give credit to somebody else for what God is doing in your life. If God did it for you, turn around and give credit to the one who blessed you. Too often we forget to give God credit for blessing us. Too often we forget to go back to the altar and say, God, thank you. Too often we forget to say, God, I thank you for what you're doing and what you did in my life. We take it for granted that God has to bless us. No, God does not have to bless you. So don't take it for granted that He blessed you. Don't take it for granted that He did something for you. Don't take it for granted. Don't forget to go back to the altar and give God thanks for blessing you. God, I thank you. This is the posture of obedience at its highest. When you can say no to the world offer, because you know that God has a prop, that God promised you something greater. When you can walk the way from what looks good, because you're holding out for what God says belongs to you. When you refuse to let anyone else write the story that God has already written about your life. As I bring this message to a close, I want you to notice something. In this section of Abraham's life, it was all about the altar. Every significant moment brought him back to the Place. The altar represented a place of communion, a place where he fellowshipped with God. And it could mean and can mean the same thing for you. The altar also represented a place that was marked, a spiritual marker, so you don't forget where you have been. So that when you seek direction for where you are going, the altar is where your past and your future meet the presence of God. But notice this about the altar. God will speak to you in private. God will speak to you in a private place and declare you through public actions. God will change you in private and reveal your new life in public for all to see. What he does to you at the altar, he will display throughout you in the world. God will speak to you in private, but develop you in public. And this, and there is a reason he does that. He wants everyone to understand, and he wants you to understand that you are still a work in progress. Philippians 3, 14 says it like this: press towards the mark of the high calling which is in Christ Jesus. You have not arrived yet, so keep pressing. You are being developed, you are being shaped, you are being molded. And every time you return to the altar, you are submitting yourself to the process. When you press in at the altar, you are not seeking glorification. You are seeking him. And when you seek him first, when circumstances arise, his words will be your guiding truth. You have to, you don't have to wonder, what do I do? You don't have to lean on your own understanding. You won't have to look for the world for answers, because what he has spoken at the altar will carry you through wherever you are facing in your life. Ladies and gentlemen, just as Abraham went from the call to the altar, here you are. God placed the calling on your life. Now it's time to get to the altar. Let the altar be a place where God speaks to you. Let the altar be a place where God develops you. Let the altar be a place where God guides you. Let the altar be the place where God meets you there. And when you get up from the altar, you'll be stronger and you'll be able to face anything that the enemy throws you away. Because it begins and ends at the altar. Let us pray. Heavenly Father, we thank you. Thank you for this word that you have spoken to us on this morning. Heavenly Father, as you have spoken to many of us, there are things in our life that we're having a hard time letting go. But God, we just want to be obedient to your word. Don't let us get too emotionally tied down, that we lose our destiny because we don't want to be obedient to your word. Don't let us miss our destiny because of disobedience to what you have spoken to us. Give us the strength. Give us the power. Give us the courage to walk away from things that don't please you so that we can live right for you. As we continue, God, in this posture of obedience. And as we walk through this posture, God, we ask for your guidance. We ask that you hear, that we hear your voice more clearly. And we ask that you strengthen our hearts for the tough decisions. And remind us, God, that it's not personal, but it's positional. That you are positioning us for something great. And let us know, God, that the calling on our life, reinforce it, God, that the calling on our life, that some people can't handle it, and they're gonna have to be let go. God, we thank you for positioning us in a place where we can hear you, for positioning us for a place that we can be obedient to your word. Strengthen our hearts, God, on this journey. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen and amen. I want to thank you for those who joined us for this time of worship. For those who have joined us on our Facebook and YouTube channel, I pray that this word blessed your life. I pray that God has spoken to you through this word from call to altar. God is preparing us and he's positioning us, and he will continue to position us through our posture. And as we continue to deal with this posture of obedience, God will begin to pull things out of us that doesn't line up with his word. So as he begins to speak to us, he's pulling us closer and closer to him. As he begins to speak to us, he's pulling us closer and closer to him so we can hear his heart and we can be obedient to what he tells us to do. Ladies and gentlemen, everything that God tells us is not going to be easy, but it's necessary. I'm gonna say this and leave it alone, and it's just in my spirit. It's not personal, it's positional. If we get that in our hearts, and we get that in our minds, that God needs to position us for the next move. And how does he position us through our obedience to his word?
