Thank you for tuning in I would love to hear from you
Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to The Posture of the Believer. I am Pastor Lindsey Jones, and today's episode is called My Promise Has Arrived.
Sit with that title for a second. My promise has arrived. Not "is coming." Not "is on the way." Arrived. Showed up. Walked into the house. The thing you have been praying for, fasting for, crying about — it is finally here.
Now somebody listening today is still in the waiting room. Stay with me anyway. Because if your promise has not arrived yet, this episode is going to show you who you need to be when it does. And if your promise has already arrived, this episode is going to explain why the season you asked for feels heavier than the season you waited in.
We are walking through Genesis 21. The day Isaac was born. The day twenty-five years of waiting finally ended. But what nobody tells you is what happened the day after — because the same day the promise arrived was the season God started pulling things out of Abraham's house.
So grab your Bible. Grab your headphones. This is The Posture of the Believer — let's walk.

Chapter number 21, and we'll be reading verses one through three. Genesis 21, verses one through three. And it reads as thus. And the Lord visited Sarah. And he said, He had said, and the Lord said unto Sarah as he had spoken. For Sarah conceived and bore or bare Abraham a son in his old age at the as at the set time of which God had spoken to him. And Abram called the name of his son that was born unto him, whom Sarah bare to him Isaac. Go ahead and put your Bibles down. Let us go before the throne of grace. Heavenly Father, we want to say thank you. Thank you for what we have heard so far. Thank you for how you have already spoken to somebody in their spirit about what you have promised them. Now, God, as we go into this message, we ask that you forgive us for any thoughts, actions, anything that was not pleasing to your sight. We ask that you cast it down. Forgive us. Anything that was not like you in my mind, my body, even in my spirit. Forgive me. For I don't want anything to hinder or stop what you're going to say through me on today. God, I ask that you hide me behind the cross. Don't let them hear me, don't let them see me, but let them hear and see you. I yield my mind, my spirit, my body, everything about me, God belongs to you. Use me for your glory, God. And God, let everything that you put in my spirit pertaining to this message be brought out with love, power, and conviction, that we might receive the fullness of your joy. God, let this message push us further in you. But also let this message reach those that don't know you, that they may cry out, What must I do to be saved? And how can I be saved? We thank you for what you're doing, God. We have that you bless the ears of the hearer today. That we just don't be hearers of the word, God, but we become doers of the word. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen and amen. For the next few moments, I want to continue in our theme posture series. As we are under the posture of obedience, I want to leave this thought with you. My promise has arrived. My promise has has arise. Look at your neighbor. Type it in the chat for me. Let me know that you're trying to say manifestation requires separation. Manifestation requires separation. Look at your neighbor. Type that in the chat. Manifestation requires separation. Have you ever wondered what took so long for your promise to be manifested? You find yourself asking God, what is taking so long? And yet you never seem to receive the answer to your question. So do so we do what most of us have done at one point or another. You decide to try to make things happen on your own, even though God clearly already made you a promise. Ladies and gentlemen, we have to understand this one fact. God does not have to tell you when the promise will be fulfilled. And if he does, he does it because he wants us to know, and he does not have to tell us anything. But until then, we have to wait for the manifestation of the promise. In the words of songwriter James Fortune, your waiting time is not wasted time. Is it in the waiting that God is developing you? It is in the waiting that God is shaping you. It is in the waiting that God is building your relationship with Him. And as you're waiting, that your mistakes or the mistakes you made would not kill your promise. Look at your neighbor and tell them the waiting is not punishment, it's preparation. The waiting is not punishment, it is your preparation. See, God knows when we are ready. Because if he gives us the promise too early, two things will happen. One, we will get puffed up and start thinking that it's all about us. We start walking around like nothing, like God had nothing to do with it, and we start taking credit for only what God could have done. And the moment we start taking credit, we forfeit the glory that belongs to God alone. The second reason is that when we get the promise too early, we'll mishandle the promise. Because the promised place is unprepared. The promised place is unprepared hand will not produce it, it will perish it. I'll repeat that again, because the promise placed in unprepared hands will not produce it, it will perish it. A blessing given before time becomes a burden if we cannot carry it. See, God is not withholding anything from us, He is protecting the promise He's spoken over you. So while you are waiting on your promises, God is preparing the vessel which is you to carry it. Manifestation is not just about the promise showing up. Manifestation is about being ready for when it does. Ladies and gentlemen, before we get into our text, before we get to the manifestation of the promise, we have to examine what happens in chapter number 20 of the book of Genesis. Because Genesis 20 is where the posture of the heart, the posture of faith, the posture of obedience finally makes sense to Abram or Abraham. Look at your neighbor and tell them what happens before the manifestation matters. What happens before the manifestation matters. Have you ever been on the verge of a breakthrough? Standing at the door, about to open it, like everything was finally coming together. And it is at that very moment that the old habits, the old tendency, tendencies flare back up. They flare back up in your heart and they flare back up in your mind. And instead of casting the thoughts down, like Paul tells us in 2 Corinthians 10 and 5 through 6, where it says, cast down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity under the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience with your obedience is fulfilled. Instead of casting down those thoughts, you give in. Why? Because we did not let our faith mature. At that point of our lives, church, our faith, our trust, our obedience must reach a level of maturity. Meaning all three postures have to be fulfilled actively so that no matter what obstacle we face, we don't put our virtue, we don't have to put our virtue on the line. Ladies and gentlemen, this is exactly what Abraham did. Abraham heard the promise. Sarai heard the promise. But in the moment of haste, Abram looked at the king and said, My sister is, she is my sister. Ladies and gentlemen, I have an issue right here. Why? Because the promise, the same promise, the same Abraham who heard the promise, the same Abraham who built altars, the same Abraham who left his country and his family and his house at the voice of God. That's the same Abram, Abraham, who lied about his wife again. This time, this was the last time he moved in haste. God protected you. The last time you lied, God protected you. But this time is different. This time is changed. Why? Because you put, because God has put a time frame on the promise. Ah, here's what God said in Genesis 18 and 10. And he said, I will certainly return to the according to the time of life, and behold, Sarah your wife shall have a son. See, Sarah was listening at the tent door when God has spoken that to Abraham. God must fulfill his promise. God has been speaking to Abraham and Sarah for over their life for 25 years. And now the clock has been set. Now the time has come. And they are standing right at the door of manifestation. But look what happens. Abraham reaches back into his old playbook. King Amalek, not knowing she was already married, sends for Sarah and takes her into the house. God comes to him in a dream and tells him, You are a dead man, because you have taken the wife of another man. What do you do when any what do you do when you are in the wrong, when you did nothing wrong, I'm sorry, but you receive a word of punishment. Amelechek replies, I don't know, I did not know. Abraham told me she was his sister. Sarai told me that was her brother. I'm innocent in this. And God said to him, I'm telling you this, restore her back to her husband. And if you don't, you will die. Ladies and gentlemen, I must stop here. When God speaks a promise over your life, and it looks like you're about to mess up the promise, God will do everything to protect what he told you. Even when the promise carrier can't protect them, can't protect themselves. God used Eliminek to get Abraham and Sarah back on track. So don't be surprised, church, when you get a message from a stranger, when you get a message from the enemy, or even a friend to remind you that you are carrying a promise of God. Amalek confronts Abraham. Amelechiach gives Abraham sheep, oxen, and a thousand pieces of silver. But watch what happens next. Abraham pays for Amelech's household and heals everyone in the house because the Lord closed up every female's wound that was in the house of Amelechek. Ladies and gentlemen, being in the wrong place at the wrong time will cause two things to happen. One, when you move outside the obedience and the will of God, you can cause other people to be hurt in their lives. Your disobedience may not only affect you, it affects every person that you have or may have come in contact with. Why? Because the blessings flow out of you. Ah, let me repeat that again because sometimes we can be disobedient to God. And because we are disobedient to God, somebody else might need to hear a word from you. And when you don't speak that word that God spoken to you, you hurt them in the process. Sometimes you gotta do what God tells you to do, even if it's hard, even if it's strange, even if you don't feel like it. God told you what to say, say it. Why? Because you can be the blessing that somebody else may miss out if you don't speak. Ladies and gentlemen, speak what God told you to speak. Speak what God told you to speak. Number two, manifestation will not happen until the vessel, the promised carrier, is in the right place. Look at your neighbor one more time and tell them God will protect the promise even when I mess up. God will protect what's in me even if I fall. God will protect what he spoke over me, even if I'm not ready to receive it yet. Why? Because he has to protect it until I get to the place where I will be able to receive it. Look at your neighbor and say, God is not finished with me yet. God is not done with me yet. God is not holding anything against me. He's just waiting for me to arrive to the place where I can receive the promise he received, he gave to me. The same Abraham who lied, God used to pray. The same saddle who was barren, God used to break the barrenness of another woman's house. The same God who closed wombs to protect the promise opened again when the promise carrier was returned to the right place. Ladies and gentlemen, I must stop here. Why? Because something just dropped in my spirit. Sometimes when God makes you a promise and you have not seen the promise fulfilled yet, we get out of alignment with what God has in store for us. We get out of place. And when you get out of place, what happens is the promise is held up. Why? Because God wants you in the right relationship with Him. God wants you in the right place with Him. See, He can't give you the promise when you're in the wrong place. Ah, see, every promise is designed for a particular place and a particular time. But if you're not in that time frame or you're in the wrong place, the promise will never come to manifestation. Ah, so ladies and gentlemen, before the promise of God is manifested in your life, make sure that you're in the right place. Make sure that you're at the right time. Make sure that you're in the right relationship. And then watch God show up and show out. Now, let us turn to what is happening in our text. The Lord visited Sarah. And why is that important? It's important because God didn't have to show up. He could have simply let the promise manifest in due time, quietly, on schedule, without fanfare. But the Lord took the time to show up. Ladies and gentlemen, sometimes God will show up because he is doing two things. He is doing more than one thing than fulfilling your promise. I believe God showed up on the scene for three reasons. Reason number one, God showed up to prove to Sarai or to Sarah that he keeps his word. With the birth of Isaac, every laugh, every doubt, everything, every how can I do this and I am old was answered in this one moment. God showed up to Sarai, who never questioned his word again. Number two, God showed up so that when Sarai gave birth, she could not take credit for it. Watch this. Look at what I did. God showed up in a person to make one thing clear. You had nothing to do with this. I did it, God said. Sometimes, sometimes in our life, there come moments where God will show up. He'll show up because he wants us to realize that God, that he, that he, that you did not do it by yourself. He'll show up to let others know and to let you know that he did it. He will show up in the midst of a storm that is driving you crazy. People are wondering how you're handling it. People are wondering how you're going through it. God shows up in the middle of the storm. Everything works out in your favor. Now they come back and say, How did it happen? You can look your up and tell them, God did it. Look at your neighbor and say, God is going to do it for me. Ah, you don't have to worry about it. You don't have to take credit for it by yourself. Because if you did it, you'll still be in the midst of your trial. If you were trying to handle it, you'll still be in the midst of trouble. But when God steps in, whoo! When God shows up on the scene, when God decides to intervene, all you gotta do is say, God did it. Ah, ladies and gentlemen, I don't know who I'm preaching to. I think I'm preaching to myself. Because there's been times in my life when I didn't know how I was gonna make it. I didn't know how I'm gonna put food on my table. I didn't know how I'm gonna keep a roof over my family's head. But at the end of the day, something came through. And all I can do is bring back my head and lift up my hands and say, God did it. Why? Because I had nothing to do with it. I exhausted all means. I exhausted everything I had, but yet God showed up on time with the miracle. God did it. So if you have something that you need God to show up on, if you have something, wait for the visitation from God. If you have something, hold on to what he says. Why? Because if God, when God shows up, you won't be able to deal with it. You won't be able to handle it, but you'll see the manifestation, and all you can do is lift your hands up and say, God did it. God, you performed that miracle. You made a way out. You did that, God. God did it. The third reason, God showed up once you reinforce the promise and solidified with Abram that God had been covering him and watching over the promise the entire time. Every step of this 25 year journey, God was there. Every mistake, God was there. Every moment, Abram wondered, wondered if God was going, if God had forgotten about him, he was there. Ladies and gentlemen, God. Is telling me to tell you today that no matter how long it takes, no matter how many mistakes you made, no matter how long you have to wait, God said, I've been there all the time. I don't know who about you, but I know I'm taking that personally. Why? Because there have been times in my life where I wondered if God was still listening to me. I was wondering if God was still hearing my prayer. I was wondering if I was still walking in the right direction. And God said, I've been there all the time. I told you what to do. I told you how to act. I told you what to say. I've been there all the time. God visited him personally. And God has been saying it, he's saying it to us now. I've been with you the whole time. I never left my promise unattended. Woo! I don't know who that's to, but God is saying the things I promised you, I never left them unattended. The promises I made you, I still watch over them. The things I told you about, I'm still watching over them. The kids I promised you, I'm still watching over them. The business I promised you, I'm still watching over them. The mixtures I promised you, I'm still watching over them. I'm just waiting for you to mature enough so I can give it to you. God said, I haven't forgotten what I said to you. I haven't forgotten what I promised you. I haven't forgotten what you what we talked about. I'm still watching over my promise. Ladies and gentlemen, God shows up on the scene. It is never for the moment. God shows up to make sure you remember what he did. See, see, see, see, when God shows up, he brings manifestation, but he doesn't show up for that moment. See, he manifests it and then he reminds us, I was with you all the time. Every heartache, every trouble, every sidestep, every failure, God said, I was there with you. You may not have seen me. You may not have felt me, but I was there. You may have thought I'd forgotten about you, but I didn't. You may have thought I wasn't talking to you, but I was. God said, I was there through every trial. I was with you. God shows up to make sure that you don't take credits. God shows up to make sure the promise is sealed and not just filled. Ladies and gentlemen, when manifestation shows up, whoo! This just dropped in my spirit. See, when manifestation shows up, it's fulfilled, but God shows up to seal it. Ah, I don't know who that's for, but God said, when I show up in the promise, when I show up and bring manifestation, yes, I'm fulfilling it, but I'm also sealing it at the same time. See, when something is sealed, oh, it can't be open. When God put his stamp on it, it's a stamp of approval. When God put his seal on it, he said, I'm sealing it. And from now on, you'll walk in that promise. And the devil can't do anything about it. Ah, ladies and gentlemen, when God fulfills the promise, he also seals it in your life. So when God says, I'm saving your family, they may not have come yet. But when they come and get filled, when they come, the promise is filled. God said, Now I'm gonna seal it. And when God seals it, he puts his stamp on it. And when God's stamp is on it, can't hell or hot water break it? Why? Because I'm sealed by the promise. Look at your neighbor and say, My promise is sealed. My promise is sealed by the blood of Jesus. Isaac is now born to Sarah. Just as God says. Just as God says. But watch this. Look at what Isaac is born into. Look at the house the promise is born into. Sarah is ninety-nine years old. Abram is one hundred. And Ishmael, the son that Abraham had with Hagad, is fourteen when Isaac is born. For fourteen years, ladies and gentlemen, Abram and Ishmael had bonded. For fourteen years, Ishmael was the only son. For fourteen years, Ishmael was being groomed to be the elder statesman of the family. Ishmael was the one who, according to the culture of that day, was next in line for the blessings of the family. Ishmael was the one in line to receive a double portion of what Abraham's inheritance was. But hear this. Yes, Ishmael was entitled to all that Abraham had, but Isaac was entitled to all that God had promised. He said, Ishmael was entitled to all that Abram had, but Isaac was entitled to all that God had promised. There is a big difference between earthly inheritance and a godly promise. Ah, an earthly inheritance will fade away over time, but a godly promise will last forever. The Bible does not show us much about the relationship between Ishmael and Isaac in those early years. We do not see them playing together. We do not see them growing, growing together. The Bible remains quiet until the time of Isaac to be weaned. Now, church, the culture of that day, the weaning process of sons was a major event. It was a celebration in the ancient world. Weaning happened when the child was around three years old, because the child had survived the most fragile years of its life. And on the day of weaning, the father had a great feast to celebrate that the promise had not just arrived, but that the promise has taken root. So Isaac is now three around three years old, which makes Ishmael about 17, already a young man, standing on the edge of his future. And as the celebration is happening, as the celebration of Isaac's weaning is going on, Ishmael comes to grips that something drastically has changed right before his eyes. Ishmael realized that his position as an elder statesman of the family, the place he had held or occupied for the last 17 years, is gone. The double portion he thought was his is no longer his. The future he had imagined for himself rearranged, was rearranged by this arrival of the promised child. So Ishmael does what most people do when their position is threatened. Ishmael begins to mock or to mock Isaac. Ladies and gentlemen, we have all been in Ishmael's shoes at some point in our lives. Upset with what has just taken place. Upset with what just went down. Watching someone else step into position we thought belonged to us. Watching God's hand move in a direction we did not see coming. And it is in that moment that the future of our virtue must stand up. Watch this church. The word virtue comes from a Greek word atare, which means excellence of character. And when we discover the virtue of our posture, we must live in it. Everything about us must change. We must begin to walk in integrity. We must begin to operate in humility. We must begin to move in love, move in joy, move in peace, move in love, and move in loving kindness along with self-control. Because, ladies and gentlemen, anyone can mock when their position is being threatened. But it takes Atare to take the posture of virtue to stand still, to stay surrendered, and to trust that God has not forgotten you just because he elevated someone else. Ah, Sarah saw it. Sarah heard the mocking. Sarah saw Ishmael mocking Isaac with her own two eyes. And Sarah heard it. And when she heard it, instead of going to Hagar or Hagar, instead of going to Ishmael, she went straight to Abraham. Ah, she didn't go to the mother. She didn't bother going to the son. She went straight to her husband. Ladies and gentlemen, when you get in a situation like this and you don't know where to turn to, most of us as parents would have wind up either confronting the woman or we wind up confronting the son. But here we learned a lesson that you go to the one who has the power. You have to step in and do something here. You got to move here, God. You got to change something here, God. She went to Abraham, who was in position to make that change. The person that is in position to make the change in our lives is Jesus. So when you're feeling like something is coming on you, and you're feeling like something is going to break loose, before you allow yourself to get caught up in some mess, before you allow yourself to get caught up in something that you can't control, uh go to Jesus, fall on your knees and begin to pray and tell God, this is what's going on. You have the power to change it. You have the power to do what you do. You promised me this child. You told me this child was going to be great. You told me this child was going to be something. You told me that this child was going to be one of you or be a part of you. Now you have to move in the night. You have to make changes, God. Don't get caught up in your feelings trying to fix this on your own. You won't be able to. That's a sign of maturity. That's a sign of your virtue standing up and you staying in the right position with God. Sarah told Abram what was going on, and she told him, Hagar has to go. And Ishmael has to go with her. Now hear me, church. This did not settle well with Abraham. Why? Because Ishmael was still Abraham's son. Whether Ishmael came through Sarah or not, Ishmael was a part of him. What do you do when your promise confronts your disobedience? I'm gonna repeat that question again. What do you do when your promise confronts what you produced in your disobedience? I'm gonna let that ponder for a little bit. Because sometimes when our promise is ready to be manifested, what we disobeyed about or what we disobey God about in the past stands right in front of us. So how do you handle when your promise comes into confrontation with your disobedience? How do you handle when your promise is ready to be manifested, but disobedience of your past is standing right in your face? How do you deal with the conflict? How do you handle your disobedience coming forth and your promise coming together at the same time? What do you do? How do you handle the confrontation? This is what Abraham, or this is how Abraham handled it. God showed up in Abraham's life. God showed up to Abraham because he realized that Abraham was in an awkward and difficult situation. See, see, when God's promise is on the line and disobedience of your past has come forth, and your promise confronts your disobedience, God will do whatever he has to do to protect his promise. So God shows up because he felt and know the agony Abraham must have felt. Or do I follow and keep or keep the disobedience of what my disobedience produced in my life? This was a hard thing for Abram, for Abraham to do. God speaks to Abraham and tells him, Listen to your wife, because Isaac shall your seed be called. By declaring an Isaac, your seed shall be called. God was emphasizing something the whole world needs to understand. God was making it clear that the true heirs of his covenant, the ones who would inherit his promise, would come through the son born by faith and divine power, not through the son born by human efforts. Hear what Paul says here, hear what Paul says in Galatians 4, 28 and 31. Now we know, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise. But as who is, but as he who was born according to the flesh, then persecuted him who was born according to the spirit. Even so it is now. Nevertheless, what does the scripture say? Cast out the bondwoman and her son. For the son of the bondwoman shall not be the heir with the son of the free woman. So then, brethren, we are not the children of the bondwoman, but of the free. And just as Ismail or Ishmael prosecuted or persecuted Isaac, the flesh will always rise up and try to persecute the promise that is in our life. But there is a word from God. The bond woman and her son cannot inherit what the free of what the what the son of the free woman had. The flesh cannot inherit what the Spirit promised. The Ishmael that is in your life cannot share the inheritance of what the Isaac God placed in your life. And so when manifestation comes, God will require that you separate what you produced from the promise. I'm gonna repeat that again. When manifestation comes, God will require that you separate what you produce from what he promised. Ah, ladies and gentlemen, what he is saying here is this when your promise has manifested, and your manifestation of the promise is confronted with the disobedience. Ah, your your promise and your manif your promise and the disobedience that was produced earlier in your life cannot stay in the same house. They cannot grow up together. They can't inherit the same thing. So you have to separate them so your promise can be manifested and grow. You have to separate them so the promise can mature. You have to separate them so the promise can be fulfilled and be honored. I know and I understand that it's difficult, but it's necessary. Hold on to your promise. Hold on to what God has promised you. Even in the face of the disobedience that you produced in your life. God is saying, hold on to what I told you. Separate from what you have had in your past. Yes, it may be difficult. Yes, it may be hard, but separation is needed and it is necessary. As I bring this message to a close, I want you to understand that when the promise has been manifested, God will ask you to let Ishmael go. Yes, the same Ishmael that has been in your house for the last 17 years. The same issues that you've been holding on to for the last 17 years. The same addictions, the same patterns, the same everything about you that you have not changed in the last 17 years. When God's promise showed up, you gotta let it go. The attitude you had, you gotta let it go. The disobedient spirit that you have, you gotta let it go. The the the the the the the the what is the God I'm trying to think of the words right now? The the wayward thinking that you have, you gotta let it go. The double-minded thinking, you gotta let it go. Because the promised child or the promise God made you cannot share the house with that substitute child. Uh, what do you mean by substitute child? GCC, when God made you a promise and you tried to do things on your own, you tried to substitute what God said. But God is saying, when my promise has come to fruition, when the promise has manifested, you gotta let the substitution go. How many of us are holding on to substitutes instead of holding on to what God has promised us? How many of us are holding on to what we we we thought that we if we put our hands in it that we could hold on to it and make God bless it? God said, no, no, no, no, I'm not gonna bless it that way. You have to hold on to my promise. See, see, the spirit-born promises that God placed in your life cannot mature in your heart as long as you're holding on to your flesh-born plans. And Isaac, God has finally placed in your life the promises that God has placed in your life cannot thrive as long as the promises or what you try to fulfill is still there. God is saying you have to replace it. And your promise has come to replace it. So it's time to remove the substitute out of your way. Don't let the substitute hold the promises of God back. Don't let the substitute stop God or stop you from being in the right relationship with God. Yes, God, I messed up. Yes, God, I acted on my own. Yes, God, I should have waited for your promise. But God said, now the promise has arrived. Stop holding on to what you did. Ladies and gentlemen, letting go of Ishmael or letting go of the issues that are still trying to hold your heart is not easy. Because Ishmael came from you. See, see, see, when you try to do stuff that you thought you were helping God with, it comes out of your flesh. It comes out of a place of immaturity. It comes out of a place of not trusting God when He spoke to you the first time. It comes out of a place of trying to substitute and help God along. Well, God is saying, I don't need your help. The promise is here already. Let that go. Ishmael represents your efforts. Ishmael represents your timing. Ishmael represents your attempt to help God do what He promised you. Ah, see, see, Ishmael, all that stuff that came out of you, you did because you were trying to help God out. And you thought that you were doing God a favor. No, no, no, no, no. See, that stuff will get you at that stuff, it's all a substitute. Ah, but when God shows up with the real thing, when God shows up with the real promise, when God shows up with the real blessing, it's time to let the substitution go. I don't know who I'm preaching to, but it's some things in my life that I have to let go when God shows up. I have to let go and let go of some things in my life that I've put in place where I thought I was doing the right thing. And God said, no, no, no, I have the promise sitting over here. Promise shows up, let it go. Ishmael and the thing you built while you were waiting on God to move. But ladies and gentlemen, when manifestation shows up, separation is required. Manifestation requires that you stop sharing the inheritance of the promise with the product of your impatience. Manifestation requires that you stop feeding the Ishmael while expecting Isaac to grow. Manifestation requires that you choose between what you built and what God has spoken. Because when because the same God who gave you Isaac is the same God telling you to release Ishmael. The same God who fulfilled the promise is the same God who's protecting the promise. And the same God who said, Isaac shall be called your seed is the same God speaking over your life right now. I want to leave you with this last thing. What God promised you is here. Now walk in it. Now protect it. Now release everything that does not belong to the promise. You have to let it go. Manifestation of the promise requires separation. Let us pray. Heavenly Father, we want to say thank you. Thank you for this opportunity we had to hear from you. That when manifestation shows up and we celebrate the fact that manifestation is here, that it took root in our life, it's time to make that separation from what we try to produce in our impatience and in our disobedience. God, I thank you for letting us know what you require because manifestation and disobedience cannot walk in the same line. You said in your word, how can two agree unless they walk together? How can light and darkness occupy the same space? So, God, I'm asking that you deal with us about this separation. God, things that we have produced while we were waiting for you to move. Some of it has taken root in our heart. Some of it has taken prominence in our life. But God, now that manifestation is here and the promise has arrived. Help us get it out of the way so that the promise can grow. Do it right now in the name of Jesus. I pray that God you deal with us about this situation of letting go and letting God. Let go and let God do it right now in the name of Jesus. The things that we're holding on to, the things that are blocking the promise from maturing in our life. Help us separate it right now. We thank you for doing the separation, God. And as we walk in the promise, and as we walk in what you have told us and what you have promised us, help us deal with the separation, God. Do it right now in the name of Jesus. And we'll be so mindful to give you honor, glory, and praise. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen and amen.
