Show Notes

Cheryl Farr founded SIGNAL.csk Brand Partners in 2009 to help organizations realize their full brand power. She and her team help B2B, B2C, and nonprofit organizations and their leaders identify new opportunities, cast a brand vision, and lead that vision to full, rewarding life inside the organization and out in the marketplace. She focuses on building brand equity value by surfacing keen insights and powerfully, effectively reinforcing the organization's purpose, story, and emotional benefits across the total brand experience. And she empowers leaders to be strong stewards of their own brand assets — and their people to become passionate brand evangelists.

Her success stories include Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, where she helped to position the then-fledgling brand for expansive worldwide growth; TaylorMorrison, for whom she developed the homebuilder’s first award-winning active adult brand; Pulte Group, where she led the creation of an innovative new consumer trending methodology to guide product and marketing innovations for the nation’s largest homebuilder; PetSmart, where she led the sensory branding work that innovated the total in-store experience; and Cornell Hotel Society, where she crafted the ultimate rallying cry for the world’s largest and most influential hospitality alumni network. And she was the lead creator, vision holder, and founding CEO behind Lodgic Everyday Community, a fresh new multi-unit retail hospitality concept created to address the hurdles working professionals face in today's new world.

Cheryl is a former travel writer and editor for such recognized guidebook brands as Frommer’s, For Dummies, and Travel + Leisure, with more than 500,000 copies sold. She holds an MBA-equivalent Master of Management in Hospitality (MMH) degree from Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration, and a Master of Arts in History from Columbia University.

Cheryl is a recipient of the 2022 Enterprising Woman Award from Louisville Business First — Louisville's business journal and #1 source for business news — for her work in community and civic engagement, business management, mentoring, inspirational leadership, entrepreneurship, innovation, and executive leadership.
