This April we start on the Editorial Photography theme with James Pratt discussing recent work for the magazine cover. Oklahoma Living serves Oklahoma’s rural electric cooperative members with information about their local electric co-ops, affordable electricity, and Oklahoma’s rural lifestyle.
James discusses his approach to this story and how to "work the subject" with various angles in different scenes for the editors to have a choice for best placement within the story, as well as, cover the guidelines of the front cover for maximum impact. He talks about his choice in gear and you will find a few hidden gems on James' choices between Sony and Nikon systems.
