 But what does hair have to do with dating? As black women, we are proud of how versatile our hair is, and how we can look like a blonde baddie today and bald babe tomorrow. 

However, also as black women, the topic of hair can often come up during dating as men feel privy to share their preferences on how we wish to present our hair. 

This week, we discuss whether hair equals fashion or identity, whether a man should be allowed to tell you how he prefers your hair, and how hair impacts our feelings of sexuality and femininity.
