When I found Jerrica Sannes account on Instagram, I felt a certain liberation to not feel the urge to constantly be thinking of ways to entertain the kids every waking hour. Instead, I am learning to give them the agency to come up with creative ways to engage with boredom and independent play. Unstructured time is really the gift that keeps on giving.
