Drummer Damon Che (Don Caballero) talks about his relationship with Revocation drummer Ash Pearson and how he (Ash) helped him both preserve the master tapes for drum play-through’s and got him up & running for online lessons & more, his guitar-playing Father, the mystical experience in listening to records prior to the internet, bands and drummers (Rey Washam & early Dave Grohl) he was digging in the early 90’s, how his lower/angled snare drum came to be, getting the “boom” back in the bass drum and capturing it with the late/great Steve Albini on “American Don”, finding sobriety, info on lessons, collecting stereo’s and a whole lot more!!!!!
