Drummer Rob Smith of Traindodge, Museum of Light, Calm Collapse, Riddle of Steel (and more) talks about Traindodge’s connection with ATL trio Dropsonic, a brief history of his time in STL, MO trio Riddle of Steel, Russian Circles drummer Dave Turncrantz influence on Rob when he first joined the band, balancing parenting and touring, his first drum sets (and varying drum sets through out the years), Brendan Canty of Fugazi and James Lo of Chavez as drum influences, recording the Museum of lIght “Diviner” record at Ocean Sound studios in Norway, recording at God City Studios with Kurt Ballou /w/ Calm Collapse, playing keys AND drums simultaneously,  and learning to balance all three of his bands!
