Hi, I'm P and this is my podcast. I just want to drop in with a quick, a quick spiel, because that's what I was inspired to do when I connected with my desired feeling Okay. So I want to talk to the brilliant visionaries out there, the people who have a vision for their business and their career that transcends the status quo and societal norms bend around your vision. I want to talk to y'all because sometimes you need reminders, I need reminders, and I am going to be a place for you to receive this reminder today. So, as someone who has chosen to play the role of the visionary you in your career and in your business it's important to know what that position means and where that position stands. As a visionary, you stand at the forefront. You stand at the driver's seat, looking out the window into worlds that do not yet exist. That is the role of the visionary is to create the things that do not yet exist, or create things in a way they haven't been created before. You, from the darkness, envision new paths, new worlds, new ways of being that support your existence and your desires. Now, while the role of the visionary does require courage, it doesn't mean that the courage is always readily available, especially when you are creating a new experience for even yourself, like maybe you have been a visionary in the past with your current business and you now have this desire to I'm seeing like a boat enter a horizon that you have yet to enter, or move past a threshold that you have never moved past before, or you haven't moved past it in your current business. Those are the times where you will likely want to seek some sort of structure or support that allows you to feel like you are not stepping into nothingness, stepping into oblivion or void space. Now, for some, it might feel like I should just push past this. I know I can do this. I've done it before. I'm just going to push past it and that's the answer for you. That's it. I know that I've transcended the unknown multiple times before and this is just another opportunity for me to do this, and I just need to be reminded that I've done it before. That's it. Moving on, whatever, we're good to go, cool.
Speaker 1:Now, for some of you, you first need to acknowledge the fact that you are afraid, and I know that might sound a little bit ridiculous, but for those of us who are normally quite brave, it can be. It can feel like a weakness to acknowledge the fact that you're scared. It can feel like a weakness to acknowledge the fact that you might not be fully ready to transcend this threshold in front of you. And your first step is going to be owning the fact that you do not feel ready yet. And I know that a lot of people say like, oh, you never feel ready for this, that and the third. I don't believe that. I do not believe that.
Speaker 1:I think that there are many of us who can sensationally feel when we're ready for something. It doesn't mean that it won't be uncomfortable, but there are times where you can clearly feel in your body that you are not quite ready to maybe make a leap that you know you need to make at some point. Or maybe your body is not ready for a certain experience, it doesn't have a certain capacity for a certain emotion yet and you're not ready. So the first thing and it doesn't take long, but the first thing is simply acknowledging where you feel you stand in your readiness to move on to this next threshold and to move into this next horizon. Acknowledging where you might feel completely unsupported and completely unsafe, and that is okay. Simply acknowledging that is a really great first step for some of you, and might also be the only step some of you need is wait, hold on. I just simply need to acknowledge that I wasn't ready yet. And what that does is it creates trust in your body, because you are able to read your body's signals and you know you're telling yourself, hey, I care about you and I care about your capacity, and that is all the trust you need to be able to move past that threshold. For some of you, it's just the acknowledgement that you are willing to read your signals and communicate with yourself and acknowledge whether or not you're ready for something and give yourself the consent necessary to move forward, and that's all you need. That's all the trust you need.
Speaker 1:Now, for some of you, you might need the next step. This next step is okay. We've acknowledged the fact that I don't feel ready. There might be something necessary for you to feel ready, and you know what that is. But first you have to acknowledge hmm, I'm feeling like if I try to jump over there, I'm going to fall into a volcano. What do I need to be able to cross this threshold? Oh, I need a heat-protecting suit. That's going to make me feel wonderful. Maybe not wonderful, but that's going to make me feel like I can actually jump across this thing and not feel threatened. I am going to jump across this thing with strength and with what is it? Enthusiasm, because I know I have this protective suit on and that's what I need to move forward.
Speaker 1:So, for some of you, it's acknowledging that you're not ready, knowing what you need to get ready and moving towards that. Moving towards that step, towards that, moving towards that step, realizing that what you need is something that you are requesting from you as the authority, as the visionary. The reason I am saying it like this is because what can happen is it's really easy to glaze over all of this internal conversation and, like, feel the feeling of not being ready and then reach out toward external authority, which is what I've seen from a few visionaries. I've seen it in myself. I've learned my lesson, so I don't really do it that much anymore. Um, that feeling of I'm not ready when not owned and not leaned into when needed, it turns into unconsciously I'm not ready, but someone else is, and someone else who's positioning themselves as an authority. They must be the authority on how I get over here, and what that does is that this places you in the seat of yourself as a visionary and it places someone else in the driver's seat, and that is an inefficient use of your visionary energy.
Speaker 1:As a visionary, no one else has authority over the vision in your business but you and God. If you're someone who believes in God, or you and life, or you and big you, it's. It's between you and whatever you're in relationship with as the, as the um, divine energy moving through life. That's between you and them, through life, that's between you and them. Any external authority is to come to your aid as, at best, an advisor, as a supporter. They are not your authority. But the reason I started this the way that I did is because usually the only reason why you make anyone outside of you an authority is because you're disconnected from your needs. A majority of the human population is quite disconnected from their needs and their true desires, and a lot of society is wired to keep people that way. But we are not normal people Remember that and, as a visionary, a quick way for you to become disconnected from your business and your career is to put someone else in the driver's seat. Anyone outside of you is here to support you. They are not here to be your authority, and this doesn't apply to everyone. It applies to visionaries, the kind of people that I help.
Speaker 1:You've already created something beautiful following your vision. Remember that Now you don't need to limit yourself by what you've created in the past. Either you didn't limit yourself before Well, I mean, maybe you did, but you at some point expanded past that or you wouldn't have created what you've created now. And you did that by connecting to your own authority. And it's easy to kind of slip past that feeling of uneasiness or fear, especially because it can seem reasonable, because now you have something to protect, now you have something that you want to maintain as well as grow, and maybe before you didn't have as much to lose. But the reason you have something to lose is because you listen to yourself. So notice when you're being motivated by the fear of loss over being motivated by your connection to your vision and your love for your vision. That's all I've got. That is the end of the transmission.
