Leaders for Our Future
SimonSo, folks, as everyone remembers the lightning round, I do give some information to the guest ahead of time, but I do not give them the five questions, and so it is completely open for everyone. So you ready to go in? Yep, fantastic. So question number one who, in your opinion, is the leader best suited to take us into the future?
Ian L. PattersonThe future is quite uncertain and, as we've seen over the last couple of months, it's changing quite a lot. My bias is technology and I think, if I use the recent fervor and excitement around AI as an example, I might pick Satya, who's the CEO of Microsoft, as the person who's currently most able to speak truth, to power around what the true capabilities of AI actually are versus what's a little bit of hype. So right now, today, I'll say Satya.
SimonOkay, fantastic. Question number two: Cup half full or cup half empty?
Ian L. PattersonHalf full.
Ian L. PattersonQuestion number
Simonnumber three who do you look to for leadership Admiral inspiration?

SimonFantastic Question number four what would you like to improve about your leadership style?
Ian L. PattersonUh, that's a good question. I'd like to see uh more leaders created around me.
SimonOkay, okay, fantastic. And the last question what do you think is your leadership strength?
Ian L. PattersonProbably speed.
SimonOkay, okay, fantastic. Well, that was a lightning round. What'd you think?
