Small 2 Scaled - From Vision to Venture
I walked away from a successful 25-year career as an “advertising seller” for mega media companies to fulfill my entrepreneurial dream as a “business owner and trusted media advisor”. In leaning into my clients’ businesses, I quickly became intrigued by their stories. I witnessed heaps of creativity, motivation, drive, patience and fluidity to push through challenging economic times. I saw these courageous individuals create ideas around a passion, sprinkle it with courage (real or imagined) and pursue that vision to venture status. Inspired by their journeys, I found myself writing blogs about their dedication. I learned that these are the busiest people on the planet. I learned that when you are doing what you love, every day is “Blursday” and there is no such thing as a 5-day workweek. Through these interviews, my accomplished guests become storytellers connecting with us on a very basic level, sharing their own experiences, generously providing inspiration and a much-needed boost of encouragement. We will learn something about trusting our vision, getting through the unfun stuff entrepreneurs endure, and seeing what it takes to achieve a business that suits your individual desires. Nobody needs to do this alone and there is more than one way to skin the proverbial “cat”. Come with me while we listen and learn from those visionaries who went from small to scaled.
