A culture podcast that analyzes the lack of representation of Black Women in the Pop Culture we consumed in mainstream leading roles, indie roles, as romantic love interests, action stars, etc. As well as discuss the best black female characters out there, the actors who play them, and the BIPOC behind the scenes that make it all happen. Also, the discussion will delve into what we think the film, tv, music, art, etc., industry can do better to represent black women and us recommending the black women who are doing the work.Longevity Disclaimer: As we start, we will be focusing on black women with the intention of expanding our analysis into other WOC characters, content creators, and decision makers once we gain ground.

For the Season 1 Finale of No Black Girls were Harmed in the Making of this...Podcast, Adrienne and Caroline interview Tim McNeal, a former Drama Development Executive at the WB Television Network in the 90s. Tim is currently the Vice President of Talent Development & Inclusion at Walt Disney Television.
They discuss his experience as a Black Executive who developed such groundbreaking series as Dawson's Creek, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, 7th Heaven, and Felicity. After working in development, McNeal had a first-look writing deal at the WB.
His upcoming book will have more Hollywood insights into his long and successful career in the Entertainment Industry.
