Kingdom Culture Conversations
You were created on purpose. You have a purpose. You are not biochemical happenstance. Rather, you are Imago Dei, created in God's image and likeness to be Kingdom Come in a world that is in desperate need of His Son!
For the Summer of 2026, as part of our annual Crusaders Charge into Summer Reading campaign, we are exploring this theme, using the book "Consider the Cost" by creationist Russ Miller, to spur these conversations. It's going to be a fun summer as we converse with recognized though leaders in young Earth creationism, theistic evolution, geocentricity, flat Earth, and many other perspectives! Where does Northwest Christian land on this? Where will you land?
Northwest Christian School in Phoenix, Arizona is pleased to present "Kingdom Culture Conversations", a podcast committed to exploring the issues that shape culture from the perspective of a Biblical worldview. Through enlightening and interesting topical conversations, you will hear diverse perspectives that inform our prayers as we pray "Thy Kingdom Come"...

The Sutton Project - Cheryl Mitchell Reflects on its History and Purpose
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
The Sutton Project began in 2010 when a teacher was torn between her love for the students of NCS and her desire to impact an impoverished community of students in south Phoenix. She pulled a few students and teachers together and managed to scratch together 150 Thanksgiving meal boxes for these inner city families.
But, the Lord was just getting started.
What started as a simple mission to bless needy families at J.B. Sutton Elementary School within the Isaac School District became The Sutton Project. Now with over ten times that number of Thanksgiving meals, Christmas gifts for families within three different schools, countless volunteer hours, over $50K in annual fundraising, and student-written grants, The Sutton Project has become a monster blessing to families in central and south Phoenix--as well as to the students of Northwest Christian School.
Today on Kingdom Culture Conversations, facing a sobering health diagnosis, Cheryl Mitchell joins Geoff Brown, Chris Gardiner, and Samantha Maszton to reflect and recollect on the times that they have seen the Lord propel two different communities to move together to sacrificially bless each other beyond measure.
