Kingdom Culture Conversations
Northwest Christian School's annual student-centered, Gospel-reading campaign is called REDLETTERCHALLENGE.ORG.
And, we tend to get so excited about all of it -- students, the Gospels, and the art and science of inspiring students to develop a daily devotional discipline -- that things tend to get carried away!
That's certainly the case with Fall 2026. Launched in elementary chapel on Wednesday, August 26th, REDLETTERCHALLENGE.ORG invites students into the daily discipline of time in God's word. We read one chapter per day, working our way through the four gospels, over the course of three months. Along the way, as we work to inspire a love of daily time with Jesus, we provide extrinsic reminders of the intrinsic worth that such a commitment can make in their lives!
To assist our families with this process, as we move through the Red Letter Challenge, each day for the next several weeks, we're going to publish a podcast episode within the Kingdom Culture Conversations venue, that features Geoff Brown reading that day's gospel chapter.

Dr. Amy Yoder is the first post-doctoral fellow in the history of Grand Canyon University, a deserved designation that she achieved due to the cutting edge nature of her research into spiritual formation strategies and high school students. But, the qualification of "cutting edge" isn't just due to the fact that she making the first research forays into the effectiveness of Christian schools.
In large part, the 'edge' to her studies is her research subjects.
Her students.
In today's Kingdom Culture Conversation, G and Geoff are joined by Dr. Yoder to begin a deep dive into the first round of her data collection. The three begin comparing two identical, anonymous surveys--one in Spring 2016 and the other in Fall 2023--in which every Northwest Christian High School Student participated.
The results are revelatory.
Revealed today, the completely candid conversation captures the highs and lows of our own school's effectiveness within its primary mission driver: Biblical worldview formation. Are we making a difference? More specifically, as we applied the data from 2016 to the interim years--leaning into our strengths and refining our weaknesses--was there meaningful change?
