You’ve heard it a lot. You’ve probably said it a time or two. “It’s not fair!” we say and then follow up with what isn’t fair. “Why did she get a bigger piece of cake?” or “I deserved the promotion more than they did!” We all have a sense that life should be fair—that there should be justice.
