Welcome to the Wealthy Woman podcast. Today we are here for a merry Monday episode and let's get started. Welcome to the Wealthy Women podcast. If you are looking to create a lifestyle that you love by terms that you've defined, then you are in the right place. Hi, my name is Marilyn Rose, the founder and CEO of Wealthy Women dot com serial entrepreneur, international speaker, business owner and investor. Let's get going to getting you started to become truly wealthy. All right. So happy Monday. Pam. We are going to be talking about where my life has been the past. A few months. What wealthy woman has grown to where we're going to be. And all that fun. Jazz. So. Let's get started. It is now coming into a whole year post. Pandemic, it seems, which has been absolutely amazing. I pretty much went into like a retirement during that time because I just spent that time safely traveling with my parents and being in Wisconsin, making sure to completely unplug from the Internet and being connected to my family members who I had and making sure to be close to them. Which has been absolutely amazing. But now that the world is kind of opening up again, I'm getting back into truly like, whoa, there has been a big, big shift in the world and it's really important for those to step up, to step up. So for those of you who are in the professional space, coaches, experts, those of you who are leaders in your communities, in your industry, it's more important now that we continue to drive people towards reclaiming their life again. I've heard so many times people saying, oh, I'm just waiting for the world to open up, or I'm just waiting for this next movement to happen. And we gone through this big trauma of having a huge imposition imposed upon us. And with that, a lot of these, as Dr. Eyman calls it, Little Dragons show up into our lives. And these dragons are these emotional trauma that we haven't necessarily connected with, but being able to reconnect with those you either essentially you either grew from the pandemic or you're either stuck still somewhere, not being able to process. And so anybody who's a leader in community, it's important that we encourage others to rise up and shine through. Because, one, when I started business back in 2017 with an online laptop lifestyle, things were different. The people thought the Internet was a scam and that you couldn't make money online, me included, thanks to my mama for always encouraging me to do something different. But without doing that. And now we've kind of gone into the shift that we can see. People are used to zoom. People are used to being able to, okay, cool, we can work from home, there can still be production from home. And so being able to use that momentum of familiarity and being able to create an income, whether it's your side hustle, your passion project or your full time job of using creativity to connect with people and to host virtual events, and to being able to teach a master class or webinar or teach something that you've learned and you've grown from it. And being able to monetize it is absolutely amazing. So let's get into different conversations. I just got back from Scotland in U.K., which is so funny because everybody in the UK calls like Scotland and all these other places as countries. But as an American, I would have thought it was similar to a state because like Scotland is not a national country, it's a like a worldwide, it's part of the United Kingdom, which the United Kingdom is the country. So I'm over here learning all these things all the time, being part of the London community. I'm over here saying, Aluminum, y'all over here saying aluminum, like, what is this fun vibe? But it's been a journey. So I just got back from Scotland, which is absolutely amazing. I've traveled so many places around the world and I didn't realize that there was so much beauty right here in this country. Granted, it was like a six hour drive, but could have hopped on a plane and gone to America. Instead. I hopped in a car ride and absolutely had a wonderful time and I met so many amazing people. So I recently I've in the past two years, I've been in my own religious studies courses. So I've been learning about different aspects of my own religion, and I've graduated that course just this year. So we just completed two years, which was the program, and it's been a beautiful journey just to learn so many different things. And so that's my spiritual side of things. If you've been listening to this podcast, you know that wealthy woman has had this core before formula. So body balance, business and being, these are the core B force that you want to be able to systemize and measure so that you can have this core before you achieve your ultimate wealth. And so we reposition this into essentially the fun freedom flow framework, which is how you can truly get to becoming a more powerfully present woman. And I actually wrote a free guidebook that you can go ahead and get it out well through Omnicom slash p p powerfully present. So yeah well the one that comes up go to that document and you don't even have to put in your email, you would just be able to get this free e-book. It's about 30 pages long and how to become powerfully present, which in this day and age more of us need to be powerfully present. I mean, how many of us go outside into the world, to a restaurant or to any place? And you don't bring your phone? Like, Are you getting exactly thinking that you don't actually have your phone with you or you're not scrolling through things, but you're actually having true, genuine human connection? And nowadays we have social media which is supposed to create connection, but it's this like false sense of connection that you were watching people and their stories, but you're not actually interacting with them, you're not engaging with them. And then when you come into a place with actual humans, you just see everybody sitting around a table and everybody's heads down on their phone, scrolling away and actually connecting. And so it's like social media has taken us to being. Into being able to connect with the world, but it's taking us away from being with the people who we actually are in the room with. And so there's pros and cons to it, of course, but it's absolutely important to be being present. Just being where your feet are. The common question that I've been asked when I meet new people is, Oh, what do you prefer more America or London? Of course, everybody loves their hometown. But I've been practicing saying I love being where my feet are. I love being here, right here with you. And in this moment, because and again, the past is in the past, the future might never come. But today is the day as a gift. And that's why it is called the present. So it's all about being present with you. And that's been absolutely amazing. So I just completed my two years of this religious studies, which has given me just a beautiful insight and more of like a solid foundation there. If you are listening to my spiritual podcast, becoming with some podcast, then you'll notice that a lot of those conversations are about identity and changing. And I've also embarked on this three year journey of what's called unani to practitioner. And it's a literal word. It means Greek, which not only means Greek, but to an a deeper sense, it's more prophetic medicine. So it's a lot of medicine from the divine spirit and the divine texts and how that relates to our everyday. And the first year is all about like Healing Thyself, which I've incorporated it with wealthy women. So it's know yourself, know that I wealth, which is amazing because every single one of you has a God given talent and that God given talent actually resonates with a specific. Skill set, and there are certain skill sets that you absolutely feel energized and alive when you do it, and there are certain ones that drain you. So it's all about differentiating. Okay, what is it that you like to do? What is it that you're naturally good at it? What is it that you don't like to do? And what is it that you're you don't like to do in your bad at? So it's about separating those four things so that the know yourself know that wealth. And so I'm embarking on this journey to being a practitioner. I actually have always wanted to put this through wealthy women and to take all of these skills that I'm learning and putting it into the wealthy women community and bringing it back to us ladies. So with that, being able to go through this process has been beautiful because the first whole step is about healing thyself. And so I just learned so much more about me as a person, which I already know. Like I love speaking, entertaining, having conversations, like knowing the depth of your soul and keeping it light and loose at the same time. So I love being able to bring connection. That's something that I truly feel is one of my bigger purposes in life, is being able to connect people one with themselves and then with with each other. And so being able to do that was the first year and then second year has been learning about taking case studies. I have been incredibly busy with taking on these case studies and with those case studies. Now I'm going to be finishing up this third stages and these third aspects are going to be on this coming September. So it's going to be a wonderful journey just to kind of finish that up and being able to launch that into all three women. So we have I'm doing it so we have three core offers and these three core offers are going to be one business mastery, because I love seeing women succeeding, especially when it comes to business wealth and being able to have money in your pockets. And then the second step is lifestyle mastery. And so you can have the option to do lifestyle mastery, which is because the whole world needs wellness right now. We all need a little bit more connection and being able to deep dove into reconnecting with nature, reconnecting with ourselves, reconnecting with that self-love and self-care. And so lifestyle mastery is that even if you it can be right now at first I want to take on for a women who are already CEOs and how you can CEOs professionals, somebody who's got a job, who is in the professional space, who is also making in money, who needs to figure out their balance with their lifestyle mastery. And so that's going to be that which also can be eventually opened for women who aren't in business, but they just want to learn how to heal and sells their selves as well. And so the third thing that I'm going to be opening in September is going to be our wealthy women sisterhood. So that's going to be a space for all women who are looking for the personal development space. It's going to be looking into like what types of books are going to help you grow, what types of topics that you need to work on for yourselves. And going from there, which I'm excited about, all of these three things and those are going to be the core three things that I can help you with and I work with, and I'm just interested. I would love for you to go to my Instagram, which is now B wealthy women. So Instagram at B wealthy women, if you go there and just do me like, what is it that you're most interested in? Is it business, is it lifestyle or is it personal development? And just message me that because I would I want to know what it is that that you want. So. That's pretty much been like the educational side for me has been my spiritual side, my lifestyle mastery side. I've completed Tony Robbins Wealth Mastery and his lifestyle mastery, and I'm going to be going through his business mastery again because I always believe if you are coaching people, if you're mentoring people, if you're working, you always have to be invested into something yourself as well. And. That's just how we grow is what we're constantly learning and doing things. So that's the update there. I'm going to spill the tea with all because this has been something that for me has been a journey. So since I become. And this. New path of life, of being a connecting with my spiritual side and connecting more to being able to share different aspects. I had a person come into my life and this is the T, okay? So we went and I've gotten close to a friend. We became really close. Over like a a year to year duration. And once a class had finished and essentially we were going into new things all of a sudden, like their emotions and their. Communication just became a little bit weird and I know every single person when it comes to a time of closure, experiences closure so differently. But when it comes to having a friend. Wanting too much from you. How do you handle that? So for me, how I handled this was making sure that I set clear boundaries. And I think getting clear on boundaries is something that every single woman needs to know how to do. Which were not taught because women, especially from when we're a young age, you're taught a people pleasing concept. Sit quiet, sit still. Like be beautiful, but be opinionated but not too opinionated. Be strong, but not stronger than somebody else. Be. Kind, but don't speak up too much. There's so many different aspects that women are brought into, and I've seen it with younger girls where it's like, okay, this boy can be so rowdy. But with a girl it's like, oh, you, you came like for for a young girl I've seen like an elderly person say, oh, like, you have to give me a hug or I'm going to be sad. But no, that's already teaching a girl like you're responsible for somebody else's feelings. And I want to share with you, you are not responsible for anybody else's feelings. Everyone else has to manage. We are all responsible for managing our own emotions and being able to process that. And at the end of the day, emotions are just energy in motion. That's why we we call it emotion. It's E capital. E is stands for energy plus emotion equals emotion. And so it only takes 90 seconds to process any emotion, but it's important to process those emotions. And most of the time what happens is we have this resistance to process anything because we don't necessarily know how to, because you were told big girls don't cry, right. You so you're trying to hold back tears, but those tears are actually healing for you or you're trying to not be scared, but that fear is actually showing for you something. So there are five core emotions. There are happiness. Happiness and joy is one, which is an emotion, it's a feeling. And then you have sadness, you have fear, you have anger, and then you have sexual creativity, energy. Those are your five core emotions. With these emotions, there's of course, the combination of things which can bring you to exhaustion, frustration, anxiety, etc. but you have to be able to first identify what emotion you're feeling out of the five. Once you've figured out those five emotions you have to be able to locate. Where is it in your body? And most of us have this body mind disconnect, especially when if you're an athletic woman, you're taught almost about how to work out and then just, Oh, I love working out because it frees my mind. But in reality, you want to be able to bring more of a connection with your mind and your body. We're whole our whole human aspect as a whole. We're not meant to be separated. And so when you're feeling this, all these emotions, they store up into our bodies. If you're not feeling the emotion, it stores in your body and ends up showing up as disease and pain and discomfort. And every single aspect of these emotions are here to show you something. So whether you have fear and you might show up like tightness in your chest, or if you have happiness, which might show up as like tingly all over, or you have anger which shows up tense in your shoulders, every single thing is serving a purpose. So without thinking like, Oh, I shouldn't be angry or shouldn't be sad, ask yourself, why am I feeling this emotion? Where is it showing up in my body? And what purpose is it serving? Because most of the time we have anger because it's a protection. It's a protection mechanism. You're angry and you want to be able to fire up more of a strength. And so you have to ask yourself, what is this coming from? Why is it here to serve me? So when do you figure out what emotions coming then you figure out? Then you figure out where it is being stored in your body and then you figure out how do you how is serving you? And then you just breathe through it to let it go. So I was actually starting to get it starting to rain now. So if you're in London, UK, you'll know that it's been about 100 degrees and UK is not like America, y'all. That is not. There is no air conditioning. No where. Like we've got fans which are blowing all of these all of those hot air back onto us. But it has just started raining and I just saw a cute little couple as I just kiss in the rain and now somebody else is running in the rain. So it's actually just a beautiful, beautiful thing to witness. And I hope that you are getting some peace wherever you are. Maybe you can hear the rain in the background. Go ahead and go dance in the rain, kiss in the rain. Do all the fun things that you want to, wherever you are, but process your emotions with whatever you're doing it. This is one thing that you need to know. However you process. One emotion is, however you process any emotion. So if you're not being able to process your sadness, your anger, your fear, you're not processing your happiness, your joy as well. So it's why when a beautiful moment happens, all of a sudden you might have a nice smile, but then it goes away because it's you have a process that you haven't been able to experience it. Ideally, we're all trying to get to the state of content where no matter where we are, we're happy, were present. We're grateful because when you're in a state which is different than an emotion, you can only be in one state at a time. So if you're in a state of depression, you are in a state of gratefulness. And so the way that you get out of that state of depression is to truly go into a different state of gratitude. And now gratitude is is different. It's not it's not just, oh, I'm grateful for five things I don't need to do my it's like I need to do my five things. I'm grateful for challenge, but it's truly embodying that state of like, whoa, I'm so grateful that I have eyesight because I can see. And then creating a belief system of why you're grateful for this, because most of us, what we do is we tend to remove. Our belief systems are we tend to have the belief systems that have been imposed on us by society and without actually questioning, where does it come from? And these belief systems can be our spiritual belief systems. These can be our money belief systems, business belief systems, our whole aspect. And so I can't go through the spiritual side of things. You got to learn that on your own. We all have that responsibility. But when it comes to like money mindset, when it comes to your emotional mindset, your personal belief systems of growth contribution, those are things that I'm I'm here for. So that's where I'm at. That's where we've been at for the whole Mary money aspect of things is that I had essentially a girl come to me and she's got a lot of things that were coming on to her, her lifestyle, and essentially she wasn't able to process that closure. And with that being said, it's important to make sure that if you're not able to process closure. Or somebody else is. You're you're in no way responsible for anybody else's emotion. So it comes to being able to set boundaries. Okay. So boundaries are really important. You first have to know what are your own self boundaries. And these boundaries can mean well, how much time do you need before you go to work? Or who is on your priority list? And what does that mean? What are your boundaries with your parents? What are your boundaries with your employer? What are your boundaries with your coworkers, your employees, your contractors? You want to be able to set clear and descriptive boundaries, understanding what is your role, essentially? And we have this this ability, like if you're going to apply for a job, you usually see a clear role description. In that role description, you're able to understand, okay, cool. I can go into like this, this position with this understanding, can I do it? Can I not do it? And of course communicating because they're just there for guidelines. But also knowing for yourself like what are the boundaries with this? Like when you cross a territory and you're going between states in America, those boundaries, if you're American or if you're in America, you can go between these boundaries without having to get stopped. Every position, every state, because you have entered America, you went through that customs process and now you can go across all the states, whereas in the you, the UK, you can do the same for Scotland if you're in Britain, but you can't do it with the rest of Europe. So you can't go to Paris without showing your passport. You can't go to Germany without showing your passport because each place has different boundaries. And so it's important that you get clear to understand what are your own self boundaries. And this is the thing. Nobody is going to set boundaries except for yourself and you have to be able to know what it is, because the way that you show love to yourself is the way that you're teaching others how to love you. So let me say that again. The way that you're showing love to yourself is the way that you're showing others how to love you. Now, what does that mean? That means when somebody else sees you give in to cravings of food, say, for example, you see potato chips and you've told everyone, Oh, I'm on a diet, I'm in a lifestyle change. But now you see these fried potato chips and you're like, I need to go eat them right now. Oh, well, I'll just do it. And as the British people say, a one off or Americans like, it's just a one time thing, it's just a one time thing. So now you're showing other people, okay, she doesn't just like this person doesn't have clear boundaries with herself. So she is if I convince her enough for something, for an immediate gratification, I can it can just be a one off. And so that's something you need to be able to set. Nobody's going to love you more than yourself. Nobody's going to love you more than you. Because at the end of the day, this is in the worldly life. Of course, like I believe in God and I believe that God loves you more than your own. Mother loves you 70 times more. But in this world, you have to be able to show your self that you love who you are. And you need to be able to show yourself that you want to take care of yourself. And so that means, like, if you want to be able to do something, you need to put in that hard work to do it. You need to find that discipline and you need to prioritize what it is that you actually love. And of course, I hope that means that, you know, that you love taking care of your own self. And it means that you you go ahead and you get clear with your goals and your vision and you and you choose that because at the end of the day, marriage is hard, but in divorce is hard, they're both hard. Losing weight is hard, being fat is hard, they're both hard. Being broke is hard. Getting money being wealthy is hard. They're both hard. But you have to choose your heart. You have to choose which which discipline do you want more? What is it is going to give you something that's going to be your own benefit of you. Well, there was some definitely big win there that scared me a little bit. But we just keep this rolling because many Mondays are unedited and for your own benefit. But with that, you definitely have to choose your heart and pick what is it that you love? What is it that's going to benefit you and what is it going to what's going to be more of an instant gratification now and what's going to be a delayed gratification? So today we pretty much cover like where we're at where wealthy women is going. I have amazing guest speakers coming on to the podcast and I'm so excited to be releasing those to you.
