Better Christmas Movie (Lethal Weapon and Die Hard)

This week on the Bloody Good Film Podcast we discuss the two greatest Christmas action movies of all time... Die Hard and Lethal Weapon. We discuss everything from a shootout in a Christmas tree farm to dead bodies wrapped in Christmas lights. With another bet looming, we both plead our cases as to why our movie is the better Christmas movie.  

We break down Mel Gibson acting the role of a crazy person before ultimately turning out to be a crazy person. We ask the question why Danny Glover can't take a bubble bath in peace in his own home. We watch one of the greatest buddy cop films of all time, while Josh mentions every Christmas song, movie, and reference found in Lethal Weapon. 

On the other side we discuss Bruce Willis trying to save Christmas from the ultimate villain/grinch Hans Gruber. We make sure to constantly remind everyone that John McClane is doing this all without wearing shoes. Jesse tries to convince Josh that "Christmas In Hollis" is an actual Christmas song, and attempts to show how Die Hard made the most of it's Christmas setting despite never having to leave Nakatomi Plaza.
