Welcome to another episode of The Homestretch w/Adrian Durant, where we meet and have conversations with some of the most inspiring and elite athletes, coaches and sports personalities. Our today’s' guest has represented his Country 5 times in the Olympic games and his Country's first athlete to reach an Olympic final, we have with us, former track and field sprinter, Kim Collins. Kim has competed in 5 World Championships in which he won 4 bronze and 1 gold medals and 2 World indoor Championships where he won Silver each time. He is also a Commonwealth games gold medalist, Pan American Games silver medalist and won 3 gold in 2 times in CAC Championships.

 

In this interview with Kim Collin we talk about his fantastic career as an athlete. Kim shares about how his early days were like and when he got into track & field. He talks about his time at Texas Christian University and representing his Country in 5 consecutive Olympic Games. Kim is truly an elite athlete, In 2018 Collins announced his retirement, he competed at the 60m at the 2018 IAAF World Indoor Championships which was his last performance at a World Championship bringing an end to a shinning career that spanned almost 17 years. In this podcast, Kim also shares his plans for the future after retiring as an active athlete.
