Tina shares her stages of grief after the loss of her daughter. Surviving the mental and physical experience that grief takes on our entire being. How she went from rock bottom to literally digging her way back inch by inch with her garden.
She says “When you suffer everyday your entire being becomes weak! Holding on to your pain and feelings thinking that you’re saving the ones around you is completely insane. I know, I did that. Healing is something you must try but everyone heals differently, everyone grieves differently. You can't heal unless you deal. By that I mean people are hurting and unless you speak out, cry, vent to a friend, a stranger, you will not begin to heal until you say it out loud even to yourself what is hurting you. I used to think I was crazy because I cried over everything! Dishes, groceries, and simple tasks. I had no desire to do anything for so long. I thought surely nobody could feel like this but me. I was wrong, I wasn't alone. I wore many masks and faked life, it’s time to take off the mask and be a part of life."
