Renee Baribeau, Marketing & Outreach Manager at Montare Behavioral Health, a growing mental and behavioral health company in Southern California, interviews Michael Gellert, a Jungian psychoanalyst practicing in Southern California. 

Michael Gellert is a prominent Jungian psychoanalyst, award-winning author, teacher and speaker. Mr. Gellert is the former Director of Training, and currently an instructor, at the C. G. Jung Institute of Los Angeles. He has Master’s degrees in religious studies and social work, is educated in rabbinic Judaism, and trained with a renowned Zen master in Japan for two years. He was a humanities professor at Vanier College, Montreal, and has served as a mental health consultant for various organizations, including the University of Southern California and Time magazine. His books include Modern Mysticism, The Way of the Small (which won Spirituality & Practice’s Book Award for One of the Best Spiritual Books of 2007), America’s Identity Crisis, and The Divine Mind (the latter two each receiving a Nautilus Book Award). His new book, Far From This Land: A Memoir About Evolution, Love, and the Afterlife, explores the workings of the unconscious mind, and humanity’s spiritual and psychological evolution.

Renee Baribeau is the Marketing and Outreach Manager at Montare Behavioral Health, a luxury brand of mental health treatment facilities in Southern California. She is an award-winning, best-selling author, (Winds of Spirit, Hay House; contributor, Energy magazine, Elephant Journal, Pearls of Wisdom), and a dynamic speaker who injects humor and practical wisdom into workshops and presentations.
