Hamadi Brown is a native of Ravenel, SC, located in the Lowcountry region of the state. Hamadi is a lover of the arts, empowering others, and advocating for doing as much as possible to better oneself regardless of the current situation.
Hamadi currently resides in Greenville, SC, where he serves as a high school counselor.
Hamadi believes that EXPOSURE empowers all! Hamadi’s tenure in education has allowed him to make lifelong connections with both stakeholders and students. Hamadi participated with the People to People Ambassador Program for many years. He served as a Teacher Leader and Program Assistant traveling with students from across the globe domestically and internationally to learn more about culture, civics, and leadership. Hamadi also participated in the Ambassador Leaders program.
In his spare time, Hamadi writes poetry and plays in a local African drum and dance ensemble, Zaki, which allows him to celebrate his culture and his love of music. In addition, Hamadi continuously seeks opportunities to enhance himself and those around him.
