From beautiful downtown Merryfield in the Shadow of the Mosaic District, it's the Ready Kilowatt Hour on Radio Fairfax. Tonight, the first album in 23 years from Girl Trouble. Another one from the debut EP from New Zealanders Play for Keys. Plus Gene Wilder, titled with one word, Chateau and Big Truck. Plus Deep Track from Tonic, Peter Gabriel, Massive Attack, and Leonard Skinner. And much more where those came from. So we'll get started with a set of 90s tunes. This one's 30 years old, if you can believe it. From their album Sparkle and Fade, this is ever clear, they're coming to Ocean City in September. This one is called Strawberry.

SPEAKER_06

Goin' nowhere. You look like some Last me up, I wanna go out Couple of Pages down in old town. Ask me if I wanna drive. I woke up in the street, crawling at my strawberry bug. They fall up water, yes, I guess I fucked up again. Don't fall down now, you will never get up, don't fall down now. Did you find your secret friends? Always all show, always too. Make way for the lemon rain. Make way for my girl. Make way for the lemonade. Still could kick up does by the noise and the bright things that glisten. I knew all the time I should shut up on listen. From the great escape. Oh, the less I know I can find. Oh yes, breathing, only yes, sleeping. Oh yes, dreaming, oh yes, I hear you calling me. Yes, I hear you calling me. Yes, I can read you loud and clear further around and go, all the less I know. All the less I know I can find. Oh yes, breathing, oh yes, sleeping, oh yes, dreaming, oh yes, oh yes.

SPEAKER_01

Another one from the band we did a few weeks ago. They are called the debut album Hello.

SPEAKER_06

We're gonna hear a song called Out of the Dark Days, the stay I stay with you. I can't help the smile, stop myself from being both eyes look like a bright eye that drawn to you. I die, die, die the walking had we curved and red We spoke the house and stories of the host and we grabbed the back to Bye Out of the We got the fillet down you just ordered I like Jody like Jody. Now it's a day Walla be with you every day I'll be late Wallace. I daddy told me always Miss Jones. Don't you ever? You found the pretty close. I never dreamed that you would leave me. But now you go. I never dreamed that I would wish. I never dreamed that you could hurt me. I have a fast I never dreamed that feels so weird. I never dreamed that I big. It seems to me. But I think he news. Something. I never dreamed that you feel so good. I never do that sweet.

From Street Survivors from 1977, I Never Dreamed. It was released three days before the group's plane crashed in Mississippi, the song co-written by Ronnie Van Zand, and the brand new guitarist Steve Gaines, who made his debut on that record, and three days later died in that plane crash alongside Ronnie Van Zand. And uh Steve's sister Kathy Gaines, who was a background singer. She was another person who passed the way in that in that plane crash. Make it mine! Their first album in twenty-three years! It's called Girl Trouble from Home Washington. They call themselves the lowest working band in the show, isn't it? They don't get to work a lot other than on their home turf and the Northwest. We start out with Lavery song Out of the Dark on your EP. Another one from New Zealanders and Radio Turkey, New Zealand. Well, you and I are listening to the world famous ReadyKill coming to you live from the studios of Radio Care Factory. In the Locatic Care Factory, Virginia. If you have any comments or requests, or just want to love us, visit us on our fateful Instagram and TikTok pages, or drop me a line at readykradio at gmail.com. That's Rad Y K Radio. I am the God-provoking Ready Kill. And one of the great hands out of Riddle England with massive attack. Their electronic hand found was called Reggae. In the early mid-90s, they had albums like Luland and Protection with airly on the math. But a lot of folks consider their third album to be the greatest album. From 1998 to be the album Methany, and we're gonna hear a song from that album now. Written around an early Reggae tune from the paragon that dated from 1968 or some co-writing credits, though, to the members of the cure, including Robert Smith. The song is called Man Negador. They're gonna be in the easy man. We're gonna take it to the town. We're gonna start out with an element called midday and middleway. We're going to hear a song called Rebounder. Is that it? Yeah. We're gonna start right now. This is called Rebounder.

Monday morning and I reach for the hot water and lemon. It's a new week, so it's a new me. I jump on a rebounder to remove the toxins. I saw it on a YouTube shore that this could be good. To stimulate my lymphatic system first thing in the morning and engage my cerebral. Then a purple, cream, and black butterfly flapped by my nose. Positive projections, I suppose. I la cow, I'm allowing low.

SPEAKER_06

I cow, I'm allowing low.

SPEAKER_05

But the future don't feel too well. Manifestations to influence the group consciousness. I've got some fucking wicked friends. The daffodils, crocuses, and snowdrops show the winter's finally breaking. It's two shall pass. It's always darkest before the dawn. And I only really understood that lately. I've got chance from my Buddhist mate. Words of affirmation and my lists of gratitude. Discipline, building my blocks of love right up to you. I cow, I'm allowing no steep, and love. I'm allowing no. But the future don't feel too well. Then I drink two cups of coffee and I feel like shit. I'm angry, tense, and nervous. The caffeine penetrates my stomach lining. Sending my synapses into disrepute. Duality, the yin yang, the ocean and the forest. I need both but stuff between the two, being pulled by either side. Like a medieval torture rack. There's ripping at my back. General reminder: please pick up your dog shit. When you walk here, can't sleep.

SPEAKER_06

I look out, I'm low and low. And I see great signs of light.

SPEAKER_05

I'm low and low. But the future don't feel too bright. I was on a walk across the ashdown forest with my kids, and I leant down to pick up the littlest one. And there was shit all over my hands. Core memory unlocked, I suppose. I won't forget it. And my jawline's coming in at a fast pace now. Who knew that this could be possible? And I feel physically great. Crowded places don't make me feel safe. I need open fields and ocean. I look out, I'm all in love, and I see signs of light. I look out, I'm allowing her, but the future don't feel too bright. Cave Trocaves said, flourish for the mushrooms, the ones that grow in the sheep poo. And then you'll see. We're just intelligent pipes, not walking on our legs. It's not that beep, it's not that fucking beat. Yeah, it repeats. It gets easier, but it never gets easy. It gets easier, but it never gets easy. It gets easier, but it never gets easy. Trust me.

SPEAKER_04

I look out, on my window, and I see the signs of light. I look out, on my window, but the future don't feel too bright. I so I'm supposed to be.

SPEAKER_01

Not to be confused with the star of Young Frankenstein or Blazing Saddles or Willy Wonka. We heard Tangibility from the new EP God is a website. They're based on Florida, featuring members of Kyle, AJ, and Rue. Before that, we heard Chateau, the song Man of the Country from their album Sometimes We Wander. Chateau, the project of Henry Smith, a songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and self-produced recording artist from the UK. He used to perform with Manchester-based garage and indie bands such as The Big Peach and The Be Positives. And it's time for us to go! We played Big Truck and Rebounder. This is Ready J. Kilowatt, your rock and roll servant. Have a good night.
