True Crime Connections ~ Advocacy Podcast
I created this podcast—a safe, empowering space for survivors to share their stories, heal out loud, and connect through honest conversations. We honor deep healing while also making room for laughter, lightness, and moments of joy. Many guests say being on the show felt like chatting with a friend who truly understands. As a survivor of physical, financial, sexual, and psychological abuse, I know what it’s like to feel silenced, devalued, and lost. Back then, terms like gaslighting, narcissism, and love bombing weren’t common, making it even harder to spot toxic patterns.
My mission is to empower others by sharing my journey and helping people recognize the critical difference between healthy and unhealthy relationships.
My goal is to offer support, spread awareness, and remind each listener that they are worthy of respect, safety, and real love. Together, we’re breaking the silence, rewriting the narrative, and rediscovering our strength—one story at a time.
Join our Rewired & Inspired community every Thursday, because you’re never alone in this process. Transformation starts here.

This is your 2024 wrap up for your favorite podcast, True Crime Connections
>> Tiffanie: Welcome. This is your 2024 wrap up for your favorite podcast, True Crime Connections advocacy podcast, and of course your favorite host, Tiffanie. There's been so many cool things that have happened this year and I just wanted to share them because I don't like to post a lot, brag a lot about the cool behind the scenes. But I have to admit I've done some really cool this year. So I just want to take this opportunity to not only give you those highlights of what was really cool, but what is to come. Oh my. In M 2025, do we have a fire lineup so far?
I have to thank you guys first for making this year so important
But before we jump ahead, let's appreciate where we're still at. I have to thank you guys, my, my listeners first. I can't do this without you. You guys keep me going with your messages, your encouragement, your likes, your follows, your subscribes. If you don't know where you can find me and leave reviews, Likes, follows, subscribes, you can find me on YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn. Speaking of, my TikTok just hit over a thousand followers, which is so, so freaking amazing. And of course it's probably going to be banned, which sucks so bad. But I mean, it is what it is. Hopefully it'll stick around. If it does, make sure you come and find me. But truly, from the bottom of my heart, I need to thank you guys first for making this year so important to me. I've had some incredible opportunities. I mean, I went to video for one, finally came out of my comfort zone, went to video. You can find those on YouTube. I think Spotify is trying to do something with video now too, so I might try getting on that platform, but I don't use them as my podcast hosting platform, so I don't really know how that goes. So if that's your listening platform, if that's your favorite listening platform, stay tuned for that. But this year I have changed so many things. If you haven't noticed, we have a new logo behind the scenes. I changed my website host, I changed my platform host. If you haven't checked out the new website, make sure to do so. It's the same domain. Truecrimeconnections.com I am now with PodPage, which I think is amazing. So much better than domain.com, which is what I had. I did a little bit of voice acting for some other podcasts which was really cool. I got to film on location at Alcatraz Island. What the is up? I'm so still stoked about that. Not only did I go to Alcatraz Island. But I went with the nephew of the Algon brothers. Who in the hell can say that I can? Got to hear the true story as well as get to see what it was all about. So amazing. Got to go to Denver this year for True Crime and Paranormal Festival. I had two amazing opportunities to cover cases. One will be on Hulu. The show is called Green Eyed Killers, and it's the case of Ken Stahl. Then I also did the perfect scam where we talked about scammers and love scams. That case is covering Tanya. I honestly think so far, 2024 has been my best year yet. Just so many cool things happening. You know, I've had the most amazing guests on this year. That's. I mean, I absolutely love what I do. I meet people from literally all over the world, and it's not just about what they've been through. It's about where they are now. Life throws all of us curveballs. It doesn't matter if you were born rich, poor. it just doesn't matter. No one has a completely 100% easy life. It just doesn't exist. So it's so important to realize that whatever it is that you're going through, it's not permanent, not forever. Things will change, and they will change for the better if you allow it. You have to start somewhere. I feel like I have personally grown a tremendous amount this year. Like I had said earlier, cutting out of my comfort zone to go on video. That's terrifying. I'm sorry, but it is. Because, I mean, I don't have to tell you, people suck. They do. Luckily, though, I've been pretty lucky. So at 2025 right around the corner, I already have some really cool stuff going on.
My podcast is earning a name for itself and that I could not be more proud of
So that's why in this episode, pretty much, I just want to kind of wrap up the things that I've had done and what's coming In January, I am being featured in Women who Podcast magazine. So that's really exciting. You will see. My first episode, released in January, will be with Nicole and Jim Schmidt, who is Gabby Petito's mom and stepdad. They actually came over to my house and we talked about prevention, which is so important. These are the conversations that families need to have to make sure we are in healthy relationships, that there are boundaries and there is respect. My second guest in January is Sean Hemeon, who is an actor. You might know him from a few shows. You know, just little ones like True Blood, Criminal Minds, Husbands, and he's also played on 911 this March calling all Indianapolis peeps. I will be at Advocacy Con. That that's at the end of March, so that's really exciting. That Hulu special and the perfect scam will be coming out. I was invited to go on ID's network Mean Girl Season 3 to cover the case of Jordan Lum. Unfortunately, her family decided they don't want to pursue it at the time. So hopefully you will still be seeing me in the near future, either covering that case or another one. I also had A and E reach out to use my clips from another podcast that I had previously done where we had mentioned Gypsy Rose Blanchard. So some really exciting things have been happening and it just goes to show you what can happen if you don't give up. I know I've done other episodes where I check in and we have a little conversation. Well, we. I have little m conversation and I've told you, like, I have thought about quitting many times. This isn't easy. It's a lot of work and I still work full time and I have a family. But when you don't quit, great things happen. So I want all of you to remember that because there's probably a lot more harder days than there are the days that you just want to jump up and down and celebrate. But when you get those opportunities, they're priceless. I'm doing things that I could have only dreamt about. And I mean, for the most part, they've all just been falling in my lap. I haven't even had to do anything. My podcast, it's earning a name for itself and that I could not be more proud of. I'm very proud of myself and I'm very proud of you guys because I know you are taking this journey with me and I do not take that lightly at all. I can't wait to see what else 2025 has to offer me. And we're not even there yet. And like I said, I'm super stoked about what I have so far. Freaking amazing. If you've been enjoying the show, please make sure that you are following me on, the platforms where I show up in the world again. That's YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and LinkedIn. My podcast does not have a Facebook account. I have a personal one, but not one for the podcast. Facebook doesn't seem to care. So make sure you follow you like you subscribe, leave a review. You can even do that on my website now. I'm telling you, PodPage is where it's at. So much better than what I was working with. Do you want to join my mailing list? I promise not to freaking clutter you. I'm, debating on email once a week with the new episode, or like I had been doing one a month that breaks down each week that I had in that month. So you're signing up for anything between one and four emails. If you have found value in my podcast, please share it with your friends, your family, people who, you know, need to hear the messages that we put out. Everyone's story is different, but the journey is very similar. We all had shit to overcome, we've all worked to overcome it. And now we're on the other side, living our best lives. Doesn't mean we don't have bad days. Everyone's still going to have bad days, but you learn how to work through them a little bit easier than we did before. And that's what it's all about.
I hope that you have a fun and safe New Year's Eve
I don't want to take up too much more of your time, but I really wanted to do a, year end recap. Just thank you guys again for taking this ride, this journey with me. It's meant everything, everything to me. You guys are amazing and I love you and I hope that you have a fun and safe New Year's Eve. No drinking and driving. There's Uber Lyft. AAA will come and pick you up if you need it. Don't start 2025 off needing a bail bondsman, okay? All right, you guys, this has been amazing and I will see you next year.
