The Khalis Podcast
www.KhalisHouse.com - Welcome to the Khalis Podcast, a platform for aspiring and established writers, poets, artists and academics who are passionate about preserving and furthering Sikh and Panjabi heritage. Khalis (ਖ਼ਾਲਿਸ) is a versatile word; as well as meaning "pure" in Arabic and Sanskrit, in the Persian context it means "free" or "independent". This idea of independence forms an integral part of our vision. With this podcast we aim to supplement our publication work with meaningful discussion on history, ideology, philosophy, culture and the identity that shapes who we are today, as Sikhs in the 21st century.

The book is about the universal teachings of Guru Nanak Dev ji, and outlines the Sikh perspective to a whole host of different philosophical questions about identity and our purpose in life.
Bhai Tarsem Singh provides great insight into key teachings and concepts within the Sikh faith. We consider the uniqueness of Sikhi, the illusion of Maya, the importance of Naam and the role of the Khalsa.
