Not Taking No For An Answer When Your Dreams Are Involved with Starkeisha Connor
Star Connor is a 2009 graduate of North Carolina A&T State University where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Mass Communications. Star took her degree and ran with it. After graduating Star became a producer and on-air talent for Radio One working with national syndicated shows including the Yolanda Adams Morning Show.
During her six years with Radio One, Star also was able to become a national correspondent with TV One which allowed her to cover red carpets of the famous including the Grammys, BET Awards, Dove Awards, and more. Star has interviewed a number of celebrities including Aretha Franklin, Ice Cube, Wendy Williams, Tia and Tamera Mowry, The Braxton sisters, Mary Mary and many more.
After urging to regain her skills on camera, Star moved to Alpena, Michigan where she earned her TV News job as an Anchor, Reporter for WBKB. In 2019 she took her Reporter skills to Bluefield, West Virginia where she worked for WVVA. Star is currently a news reporter at WCTI12 covering eastern North Carolina.
