How can we better recognise and respond to burnout within our teams?
In this latest episode, I'm joined by Sydney psychiatrist and neuropsychiatrist Dr Clinton White, and together we turn our attention to burnout.
We explore what burnout actually looks like in practice, why it is frequently misunderstood, and what leaders, and team members, can do to reduce the conditions that contribute to it.
We discuss the impact of cognitive load, ambiguity and shifting priorities, as well as the powerful role that clarity, connection and psychological safety within teams can play in protecting people.
