Bachelor Nation Newbies
A Los Angeles mom and her two teenage/young adult daughters (21 and 19) are the Bachelor Nation Newbies. The Newbies discovered The Bachelor during the pandemic in Spring of 2020 when watching the 2009 Jason Mesnick Season on Netflix.
Each week we're sharing both our newbie Bachelor Nation perspective and glimpses into our family dynamics during an unedited conversation about life, love and everything in between as we use The Bachelor/The Bachelorette as a conduit for a fresh, mom/daughters conversation. Perfect for a Bachelor fix on your daily dog walk or while folding laundry. Whether you're new like us, a veteran BN fanatic or just interested in topics like love, dating, mom/daughter relationships, moving away to college, feminism, reality television, life with a Husky, an old Chihuahua, and much more - join us as our bachelor journey continues to unfold.

Episode 4: The Newbies Discuss Whether or Not Joey is Actually AI-Generated; Why Lea Ruined the Word "Peep"; and Whether or Not Insecurity is Ever Attractive
Despite the absolute time suck of watching this week's FOUR HOUR BLOCK of Joey's European Love Journey, the Newbies share this week's pod in a semi-timely fashion.
This week's topics include fake eyelashes; the confusion of the dumb, never-ending Maria drama which has been picked up by Lea after Sidney left; the continued tendency to "one-up" each other when it comes to traumatic pasts; the Newbies affection for how Maria expressed her past trauma; how Phoebe expressed the difference between connection and competition when it comes to being vulnerable; the fact that we would NEVER eat that sausage with all that make-up and face oil on it; and how much we really loved Joey's vulnerability with his feet issue and his pronouncement that he's the "fun size bachelor" and much more.
