What's the difference between Growth and Scale on this weeks Sunday Morning Minutes 3/28/21
One of our subscribers asked me whats the difference between growing a business and scaling a business. It's a great question and after some thought this was the easiest way I could explain. Growth in a business requires just the "Growth" which implies that even as a solo operator you can still have incremental growth (ie 10% or more), however it's built around you most likely. To Scale is to build a business that does not require you to do the work or be there everyday, but however to rely on others to execute the day to day responsibilities of the company under your or possibly a mangers direction achieving a bigger goal. For example I want to scale New Jerseys Best to run itself and achieve "Scale", however if I just wanted to keep it small or work primarily by myself I would want to see growth from additional revenue sources.
