South Australia has sung the praises of its musicians while writer, Ann Deslandes, has sung the praises of South Australia from Mexico City, which is why this week's episode is entitled, From music to Mexico. Music SA has organised another successful South Australian Music Awards, packing out the Norwood Concert Hall last Friday night. Steve Davis and Dan Drummond attended and caught up with all the interesting, passionate players to get up close and personal to the world of music in this state. Later in the show we talk with Ann Deslandes, a born and bred South Australian now living in Mexico City. However, despite living in the potential shadow of Donald Trumps wall, she is active in exporting her thoughts around the world. One such export was an opinion piece that appeared recently on the SBS website entitled, South Australia's always led the way on progress. Why not follow their lead on renewable energy? She piqued our interest, and now we're peeking into her living room at 5.30 on a Tuesday morning to mine her thoughts about progress and renewable energy.
