Here we create a space of centrality for BIPoC/Global Majority, LGBTQ+, and women storyteller of the American Theater. Each month will shine the spotlight on one playwright with a live audio play performance and the monthly episode of A SEAT AT THE TABLE . A SEAT AT THE TABLE invites the months’ storytellers to gather around the proverbial table to celebrate, discuss and dig into the play with the playwright and the players. Pull up a chair. Playwright Kevin Douglas - A Seat at the Table

Join us for a post-show chat as we sit around the proverbial table with playwright Kevin Douglas and discuss his play 'What About The Meyers', parenting in a pandemic as an artist, and the relationship between humor and pain. Kevin is a member of, the Tony Award winning company, Looking glass Theatre where his play Thaddeus and Slocum: A Vaudeville Adventure had its World Premiere which garnered him a BTA Award for best writing of a play. Kevin’s play Plantation! Directed by David Schwimmer had its World Premiere at Lookingglass and is currently being developed for the screen.
