• Mooses osoitti nöyryyttä rukoilemalla Aaronin ja Mirjamin puolesta, vaikka he arvostelivat häntä
Speaker 1I want to share with you a moment of humility that brings pride, or humility that is the key to pride, humility that brings pride. Let's pray again. Thank you, lord, for your word that you will return today as a virgin. Thank you, lord, for the price you paid us. You redeemed us. Lord, we are heard by you this evening. Amen, amen. I give you, lord, all the glory. Thank you In the name of Jesus, amen.
Speaker 14th Moses 12. It says this, but Miriam and Aaron parted from Moses for the sake of an Ethiopian woman whom he had taken. And they said and he said and then three more say Moses was a stupid man, more stupid than any other person on earth. Moses was a stupid, stupid man. Moses was a fool, a fool of a singer.
Speaker 1One of the heroes of the Old Testament whose models I admire and examples I admire a lot is Moses and that one natural picture that Moses sees like in this chapter, even though he was parried. And naturally, our reaction in this situation if we encounter a situation where someone attacks us personally, accuses, points a finger, asks to lower our position or something, usually what our response is is that we go to the defensive channel and attack back, or to attack or to get angry. But in fact in these chapters we see Moses praying for Miriam and Aaron Because of the situation they had encountered. We see in Moses' life that he was a great example of what it means, what it means to live with a heart that is humble. The Bible shows us that if we want to move forward, we need humility. This is one of the principles of nature that Jesus had and that we should also find. And often humility is misunderstood. Sometimes you think, well, that's a proud friend, he wants to be in the voice, he always keeps his voice, he speaks like that. He has to be proud. And then sometimes you think, well, that's a quiet friend, he's usually just a little pushed, so he has to be really humble. But sometimes, in fact, humility can seem to be proud and sometimes pride seems to be humility. So it's not so clear which one is the question. In the end we can see, of course the Lord sees the heart and then we can see from the fruit that where was the question.
Speaker 1But this morning, if you were there, I read from the first Korintolaiskirja, 15th century. Let's go back there, first Korintolaiskirja, 15th, and there Paul talks about how Jesus appeared to him. Let's read these chapters so we can get to the speed. How many are already at the speed? For the benefit of others who are not yet in the speed, let's read 1 Corinthians 15.
Speaker 1Brother, I will lead you to know the gospel which I have revealed to you, which you have also received and which you also remain in, and which you also will save, if you hold it as such as I have revealed it to you, lest you be ungrateful, for I have given you all the knowledge of what I have received, verse 1. And I'll read from the following that would have been paid by you, but thank you, lord, for Jesus' work. And that they were buried and he rose from the dead on the third day, according to the Scriptures, and he appeared to Kepha and then to the twelve. After that, he appeared to one more than five hundred brothers, of whom most are now alive, but a few have fallen asleep. After that he appeared to Jacob and then to all the apostles, but at the end of it all he appears to me. Who am I? As if born in the middle? You can see how Paul writes. These verses are the verses that inspire the Spirit of God. Paul did not speak here in any way or form. But he says that all things in the last seem to me too, who am in the middle of being born, for I am poor in the apostles and I am not worthy of being called an apostle because I have despised the church of God. Notice what this verse 10 says. It says and this is how you have come to faith. Say hallelujah, so we see God's great grace in Paul's life.
Speaker 1Think of a man who worshiped the church, who hated the Christians like we are now. If Paul had been before the apostles in the 9th century, today in life, he would have worshiped you. He would have wanted to take you from the day or read you in the Pasilaan putka, If he could. It was his desire. He was eager to meet the congregation and imagined doing it right. You can say many things about Paul or Saul before he was called Paul, but he was a very enthusiastic man.
Speaker 1I think we need more enthusiasm in Finland. We need more enthusiasm in the hearts of Finnish believers so that we don't just sit down and, whatever happens, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, especially so that it can rise. I want to do something about it. I believe it is something about it. I believe it's God's will that we are excited about things that are God's kingdom things. But think about the grace that came to Paul, through which he was able to see huge fruits. He helped. He saw a lot of fruit During different trips churches were founded, huge jobs were founded.
Speaker 1You know there are people in this room. You have huge things that God has for you, but you need this key, which I'm talking about tonight, and it's humility that takes you to the place where the Lord can raise you Hallelujah. Maybe this is not a saying where people start jumping and shouting and rejoicing during the saying. Maybe this is more like it does work in the harmony of the heart and then, over time, it also also bring joy to the time of the day.
Speaker 1I will give you a few words from the book of Psalms. Psalms 18.12 says In front of the worship, the heart of man is proud, but in front of the glory there is shame. Psalms 18.12 In front of the worship, the heart of man is proud, but in front of the glory there, the pride of his honor is the pride of his humility. Psalm 22.4 says Humility and the reward of the Lord's fear is wealth, honor and life. Say amen Before your mind starts to say no.
Speaker 1Psalm 22.4, the reward of the Lordden ja herranpelon, palkka on rikkaus, kunnia ja elämä.
Speaker 1And humility is also that we put others in front of our own benefit and we keep others better than ourselves. Amen, it is actually about serving Amen. And as he wrote in this first Korintolaiskirja, he says here that I am a poor apostle and I do not even appreciate that I am called an apostle. He appreciated the others, but then in the next chapter he says he appreciated the others. But then he says in the next chapter but I am of God's grace and I am what I am, and his grace has not been in vain, but more than all of them I have done my work. Hallelujah, hallelujah.
Speaker 1Do you know that God has had huge things plans and we need that God's word light to shine in our lives. That God's word power as it is said in Hebrews 4, can separate the spirit and the soul. Thoughts, imaginations Can make a difference between the spirit and the soul, can make a difference between what is earthly and what is heavenly. That we can separate these things from each other. That we can aim for God's highest calling to us without shame and with an angry heart. We want to see fruit and we need that. That God's grace is rich in our lives. And how does God's grace come to us? It comes through this key, what we are talking about today that you do not despise your own shame. I don't need anything. At the same time, you think you need it, but you actually value others from the heart. You honor others.
Speaker 1When you read Paul's books, he would have even been ready to put himself outside of salvation if he could have achieved his own country. He speaks of himself as the least of all what you have believed. He speaks of himself as the least of all. What do you believe in? What do you believe in? What have you seen?
Speaker 1This is one of the challenges that a person faces who is in faith, who has been reborn, when the Lord begins to bless him and the Lord begins to lower the praise to Him, starts to bring use in spiritual gifts that we understand. What is the heart that is required to continue carrying the fruit? So what have you believed? What have you gotten in your own life? What do you have in your bank account today? How has the Lord blessed you With skills, talents, skills, gifts, maybe professional skills, good connections you have good business connections. You have skills different things. How has the Lord blessed you today? Good business connections? You have skills, different things. What has the Lord blessed you with today? What have you believed in and what have you been able to get in time?
Speaker 1Paul wrote to the Philippians in the third verse that I forget what is behind and I cling to what is coming. Eli Paavali itse asiassa sanoi että osa tätä avainta on siinä Me. No, minähän olen jo tässä suorittanut, minä olen jo menestynyt. Well, I have already done this, I have already succeeded. That's why many don't go to church, because they think that they are already so much better than anyone else in the church, so they just have to go to church at home.
Speaker 1Wife is a prophet, children are evangelists. Sometimes a visiting musician comes to Salma to sing a song. There is a whole five-year service center in the middle of the family. You don't need anyone else. We are fully, fully, fully, fully worthy in our own group. But humility is actually the obedience to God's word.
Speaker 1If we read that, we get a hold of where the question is coming from. Let's go to Isaiah 14, when we read a few verses about how Satan swore Isaiah 14, verse 12 and on I believe that God's word can make your heart feel something like this, which will get a really, really good result, because you've seen a lot of things. But do you know that the best is yet to come? Maybe your avioliitto is in good shape Between you and your husband, between you and your wife. You're all good, but do you know that there is still better coming? Say to all of you who are here, amen. Or are you so convinced that this cannot be changed any better? Lord, we are so perfect.
Speaker 1Jesaja 14.12. Yes, we have so much to do. I will be raised to the highest star of God. I will be raised to the highest star of God and I will be raised to the mountain of revelation, to the northernmost mountain. I will rise to the clouds of clouds. I will make myself the highest in comparison. Isn't this exactly the question of this topic? When Satan landed on the sky, he wanted to raise himself to the highest star of God. Amen, you can say, tomi, I'm really handsome. I say thank you Lord. Amen. You can say, tomi, I'm probably the most handsome in this room. Thank you, lord. Thank you, lord, for that grace you can sit here today. You're a top professional in some area. Thank the Lord for that grace that he has given you. But we always give him honor, isn't that right? Hallelujah.
Speaker 1Let's read from the first John chapter, the second chapter, verse 16. 1 John 2, 16. First John chapter, verse 2.16. 1 John 2.16. It says For all that is in the world is flesh, desire for eyes and the glory of life. It is not of the Father but of the world. Or the glory. It is not of the Father but of the world. 'll read you one more time from the Amplified translation 1 John 2, 16. For everything in the world the flesh, the thirst for sensual pleasures, the desire for eyes, the desire for the mind and the pride of life, the trust in one's own resources or in the stability of things in the world, not come from the Father, but from the world itself. Say amen. So when we understand that these things are actually from the world, these are the things that try to stop us from moving forward in that grace that God has for us, then we understand wait a minute, let's go to a new level. Let's keep each other in the matter of our own value. Let's start to talk about good things about each other.
Paavalin esimerkki nöyryydestä avaimena armoon
Speaker 1I remember that we had a breakfast at a new church. Once One of the pastors came to the breakfast meeting was learning about our church and then there was a chance to join. After that. It was fun, because sometimes we had these events on Saturdays and people who had never been to church came. Then we changed it to come and join the church, because how else will you learn what we do here if you are never a guest? But they had the idea that they could be a part of the congregation but never go, and then they wanted to join. But then they got a little scared, but apparently they stayed on the list of members. But this gentleman came in and I talked to him for a while and in five minutes he had grilled and roasted many pastors in Helsinki by name. I went to this congregation and there is no good there. And I went here and there is no good there and I thought, oh good Lord, if we do this we will be able to get this guy's membership. It will be two months from now in another, in another congregation, talking about us the same things.
Speaker 1Remember that if someone comes to talk to you about his own dick, then probably in a few weeks he is talking about your things to someone else. So what does it actually mean to speak badly or behind someone else's back? It just means that when you're talking to someone, the other person has a worse image of the person before the conversation starts. If we really appreciate each other, if we appreciate, if we put the other person in front of ourselves, then we speak good about them. Whatever the Lord has allowed you to do in His mercy, then you know we give Him thanks for that.
Speaker 1The pride of life is one of those things that are not from our Heavenly Father and that, according to Amplified Classic, means trust in our own resources or the stability of earthly things. Our trust is in God. Thank you, lord, for what he allows us to do here on earth, and in fact we are very much on the side that you are the greatest producer. In fact, it is humility and putting yourself, as we say, into the trap I don't know if that's the right term in this context, but putting yourself, giving yourself to see. You want to produce good fruit, but it happens through that grace. Think how Paul described these things. He said that I am the least of all apostles, but thank you, lord, for that grace which've had in my life, that I've been able to produce so much fruit. Say it with me, I'm going to produce a lot of fruit. Grace of God, hallelujah. Let's read a few verses from the first Peter's book. I believe that you're going to get heavenly charges today and move forward. 1 Peter, 5. 1 Peter, 5. And 5. 1 Peter, 5 and 5. 1 Peter, 5 and 5. Say it again God is proud of you.
Speaker 1You think that if someone was against you, then who else would it be but God? Even if you're a rich man in Finland and God is against you, then that's okay because God is against you. If the whole Finnish government is against you, then's still okay, because he's not God. If the whole Finnish government is against you, he's also okay, because he's not God who is against you. Of course, if everyone is against you, you can think that you're in the place of looking at the mirror. But I'll say it again he gives grace to the humble. So humility is the key. Think about the great grace that Paaval had when he left the country. Do you believe that at this time we need the same grace in Finland? In spiritual work, in the political field? Good hymns I wish I could teleport a few politicians to this evening's meeting. I wish I could teleport a few politicians to this evening's meeting. But it doesn't just apply to the public administration area, but also to spiritual work, also to politics, but also to the business, the business life. We can be very happy about it.
Speaker 1Do you know what pride is? It comes in secretly. And humility doesn't mean that you are unproductive. Humility doesn't mean that you are unproductive. God is proud to answer, but he gives mercy to the humble.
Speaker 11 Peter 5. 1 Peter 5, verse 6. Be proud of God's mighty hand that he may exalt you in his time. Say with me that exaltation comes from the Lord. Hallelujah. I don't know if you can see it already, but we need that grace, which was in the hands of Paul in Finland in taking over different areas. Amen, he takes care of you. Throw all your worries on him because he takes care of you. In fact, carelessness is humility, and pride is actually that you hold yourself to those things. I'll take care of you. Okay, how have the last five years been Now? You don't lock the door, don't let anyone out. This is getting better. Thank you. In our own achievements and successes, we give all the glory to Him. Say hallelujah. We recognize that this is the grace of God. In fact, think Paul writes, as an inspiration of the Holy Spirit of God, that he was one of the few apostles, but somehow he produced more fruit. I don't know if we're on the same page. Is there anyone on the same page? I think there are a few friends in this room who will produce a lot of fruit. Someone is also at home. Someone is at home excited to see the real message today, because the Lord is speaking to your heart.
Speaker 1Joku myös kotona. Joku on kotona.
Speaker 1But God gives grace to the humble. Humility is actually a way and a key to success. What do you want from such success? As Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke once said that a salary from well-done work is more work.
Speaker 1As a Finns, I think this is not really according to the conditions when I first heard it. I think, as a Finn, that this is not really according to the rules when I first heard it. But you know, when we pay attention, when we understand the grace that God has for us, then the Lord finds us to be faithful, in that we can produce good fruit and the Lord believes in us more and more and more and more. And then we think how could this happen? Because there are people who just sit. They can't be part of this thing. And of course we want to activate all possible people to produce good results. But do you know?
Ylpeä elämä vs Jumalan armo
Speaker 1Often it goes so that there is one who says I'm usable, one who says, maybe I don't know yet things, maybe I'm not the best candidate ahead of this task, but Lord, I am usable. Lord, you get my hands, you get my feet, you get my life, I am ready to be your partner, to share this word, to do what you have for me and what you want to be done in this country olemaan sun välikappale, välittämään sitä sanomaa, tekemään sen mitä Herra sulla mulle on ja mitä sä haluat että tässä maassa tehdään. Sano, amen, hallelujah. Toinen korintolaiskirja 10.5 sanoo jokaisen that we will have every thought.
Speaker 11 Corinthians 10, 15 says every equipment that we raise against the knowledge of God. We will imprison every thought as a follower of Christ. In fact, it is those proud thoughts that come against the knowledge of God. Well, I am. What are you? What are you vastaan? No, minä olen Mitä sinä olet.
Niin you don't have any pride in acknowledging that the Lord has already done something, isn't that? So you have been at your own place as a blessing, sharing good news, as a musician singing, your voice has been heard. You have been a speaker. People have given their lives to the Lord, because of your voice, there have been miracles through your hands. Amen. Että Jumalan To appreciate others, to encourage others, to help others forward, so that God's grace can grow and grow in our lives.
Speaker 1Let's go to the second chapter of the Philippian Bible. This is the chapter of the feast. In honor of the feast this Sunday, it is in my Bible named in the Old Testament as the chapter of the shame of Christ this Sunday, verse 1. When he came to us as we are, he came to us as we are. He came to us as we are, without sin, hallelujah. I think he would have been overconfident.
Speaker 1I'm sure so many people believe today in all the light that Jesus has has done for them. So they say I'm sure I believe that I shouldn't dig deep into these jokers. We understand what our lord himself did for us. Thank you for the good things. I believe that the church should have the best places always in the land where we are. If we were somewhere in the countryside, somewhere in a distant land where people live in huts, the church would be the best hut in the village. It would be the best looking building there. But you know, in the middle of all these things we never forget what our Lord is. We are grateful for it. We understand that these things are just tools for doing the task. But he didn't look at it as a saal. He didn't be like God. He emptied himself and took the form of a lion. He became like a human and they were perceived as such, as a human.
Speaker 1Verse 8, philippians 2. He humiliated himself and was obedient until death. 8. Philippians 2. Not only to live but in fact to take on, to come to sin in front of us, to come to sin in front of us. That what we would have heard, we put on him, that we could be free this evening. And Ramtu says this is the heart and the weapon that we should have. He says I have security, I have an outside view, I have connections, I have this and this and this. We recognize it that it is God's mercy. We have nothing.
Speaker 1John 9 says he said first that he humiliated himself. He was a hearer until the death of Hamar the Cross. He was ready to do it until the end. What did he come to die for? From my side, from your side, from our side. And then John 9 says that is why God has exalted him to the highest and given him all other names to the highest.
Speaker 1Say hallelujah, say with me, that is why we don't need to go to the cross. Jesus would do it for us't need to go to the cross. Jesus did it for us. We couldn't go to the cross. He was the chariot, the unworthy chariot. He came to bring the blood. That was pure blood, the blood of the sacrifice, because the Bible says that without the blood of the sacrifice there is no forgiveness of sins. He came to bring the blood. Amen that all who don't believe in him could get a new life. Today, hallelujah, say amen. We can't and we couldn't do what he did in front of us.
Speaker 1But what does the Bible say? He showed us an example that when he was ready to leave the holiness of heaven and go to the cross, then we would have these words with us and who would say be you the mind that was also with Christ Jesus? So, in fact, the humility is that we are ready to leave our comfort, our things, our goodness, whatever it is. We are ready to leave them because we could be a blessing to someone else. According to our Lord's example, say amen. That's why God has exalted him to the highest.
Kristuksen täydellinen esimerkki nöyryydestä
Speaker 1So when we are ready to do it, it's just knowing that God's grace can come into our lives and we can see good results. When you see grace in someone's life, I can assure you that there is an altar in the background. When you see grace in someone's life, you know that there is an altar in the background, a altar of life's sacrifice through which God's grace has reached his life. And I see the congregation in Finland rising where God's grace works freely in a huge way. And I believe that when we are, like I talked about from the Korintolaus book, about those thoughts, one turn there actually speaks of the humble thoughts that rise against the knowledge of Christ.
Speaker 1We have a country with a lot of these prideful thoughts, cross-border thoughts, prideful attitudes because we are so educated and of course it affects us because we are a happy country Eight years in a row. It's a kind of an insult to the superiority and the automatic how to think about all the good things, that the Lord has believed in us, that we are ready to leave things and bring them to the altar, we are ready to be usable. How many believers are there in Finland today that the Lord has done great things in their lives? The Lord has saved them, the Lord has healed them, the Lord has led their avioliitonation League, has freed them from the and said, lord, I'm used to it, what do you want me to do?
Speaker 1I think one of those hospitalists just came to say that thank you, lord Nine went to their own ways. One realized that he had improved and came to give thanks to Jesus. And that attitude and that attitude of the heart which Moses had and I believe that it was also the key to the grace that Moses had in his life that he became one of the greatest old media leaders and in the first year I don't believe that there was anyone as powerful as Paul and this attitude, this humility, was the key to the fact that God's mercy affecting him in a huge way. Hallelujah, I see Finland changing and I see a new group rising. Every step that the Lord takes you forward.
Speaker 1There are people in my church who have come to me and they have had big prayers because life was so hard. When they receive an answer, they are destroyed like a storm. They think what really happened here. Then, as a pastor, they think what did I do wrong? Should I have done this and that and that? But this is one of those things where we need to show also the direction of examples in Finland, that we can have the same heart, as our Lord had the same mind. He humiliated himself and was obedient until death.
Speaker 1Humility is, in fact, obedience to the word of God. I am what he says I am and I can do what he says I can do and I can go where he says I can go, and that grace can increase and affect in a great way. Say hallelujah, hallelujah, thank you, lord. How many are excited about it? Maybe this isn't a saying where you shout and start dancing and run around the hall, but this came to my heart so strongly, just relating to this day when we celebrate that the Lord is alive today.

Speaker 1And for what reason, actually, did I even read the end of those chapters? That would be terrible if I. If I read, I read again. If I don't, I'll be sorry, but if I read it I'll make a improvement. Amen, hallelujah, for the sake of him being ready to be humble. Do you know how much potential there is in this room? But there is something about humanity, there is something about people, that people get a little something. I won't give any reference to the film here, but when we understand that, we learn to put others before ourselves, god's grace will increase. When we learn to put ourselves on the altar, god's grace will increase, and that humility is the key and the way to the place that God has for you, and I want you to be able to see what God has for you.
Speaker 1Hallelujah, paikkaan mikä Jumalalla sulle on. Herra kasvattaa lis from brightness to brightness, from power to power. Lord, increase, increase your influence, and along with that, there will be people around you who will say you are indeed the best in the world, and you know that really, in the kingdom of God, there are no great men or great women. There is only a great God, and then there are people through whom he works. Our desire is that the grace may come in a huge way. Say it with me in a huge way that you long miss it, that it can come in plenty of fruit. Not that you're spinning your thumbs in the corner, that if something here was small you could snap it. That's not actually shame, it's actually pride, because you limit what God wants to do to what you think you can do. Everything is possible for him who believes. Say hallelujah, hallelujah.
