• Ajatusmaailmamme on ratkaiseva – meidän on tietoisesti valittava, mitkä ajatukset sallimme juurtua
• Seksuaalinen puhtaus on pyhyyden ehdoton osa riippumatta kulttuurin muutoksista
Let's go to the first chapter of the Revelation. I want to share with you a moment of meeting with the Holy God. God is the Holy God. Thank you, lord, that your word does not go empty. Thank you, lord, for the work you have already done in people's hearts, in their souls, in their lives, in their minds, in their bodies. And thank you, lord, that we can move forward. Amen.
Speaker 1:The first chapter of John's Revelation, chapter 10. How many found it? It's quite easy to find it because it's the last chapter, just before the maps. Is there also a word search? It's a bit more difficult for you if you go back John's Revelation, revelation 1 and 10.
Speaker 1:And I turned to see what the sound was talking to me, verse 2. And when I saw him, I fell down like a dead man at the foot of his feet and he put his right hand on me and said Don't be afraid, I am the first and last. I live and I have died. And look, I live always and forever and I have the keys to death and to heaven. Say hallelujah, say hallelujah. Think about John, who had already personally spent more than three years on earth with the Lord, who had walked, who had acted as an apostle his whole life, and now he faces the Lord rising up. Say these words with me God is a holy God. There is a way for people to do things, there is a way for people's minds to make decisions, to think about things, but then there is when God appears and God is a holy God. Matthew 7, 13 and 14. Matthew 7, 13 and 14. Say these words Matthew 7, 13 and 14. Go in through the open gate, for that gate is open and the road is wide which leads to destruction. And there are many who go in through it, but that gate is open and the road is wide which leads to life, and few are those who find it Amen, and whose way is open. Because I want to go to life. Do you know that God is a holy God? And in the same way as John had a meeting with the holy God and from that it opened what we now know as the Revelation, god has a plan for each of us, but there is work that must happen in our lives and then work that can happen through us. I will say it again God is a holy God If we go to Hebrews 10.
Speaker 1:Jesus' perfect sacrifice did the perfect job when we believed. Hebrews 10 and 10 says and on the basis of this desire, we have been sanctified with the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. On the basis of this desire, we have been sanctified with the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. On the basis of this desire, we have been sanctified with the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. On the basis of this desire, we have been sanctified with the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. On the basis of this desire, we have been sanctified with the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. On the basis of Say it with me one more time. So, in other words, the moment you believe, you come back. And in the same verse, verse 14,.
Speaker 1:And then another familiar verse 2 Corinthians 5 and 17. 2 Corinthians 5.17. 2 Corinthians 5.17. 2 Corinthians 5.17 says so if someone is in Christ, he is a new creation. What is old has disappeared. Look, a new one has come. Say it with me. A new creation is here. Let's say it's a new creation. So at that moment, on the basis of these sacrifices, when we gave our lives to the Lord, jesus said, as Jesus said to Nicodemus in the Gospel of John, that you must be reborn again. A person must be reborn again from above, not like, naturally, when we were born for the first time in this world, but we were born from the spirit. We were born spiritually, alive for the sake of God. We are alive, good hystic, or to put it in Hebrew once and for all, we have been reborn. Someone is in Christ, so he is a new creation. What is old has disappeared. New has come to life.
Speaker 1:Joku on Kristuksessa, niin hän on uusi luomus Se mikä on vanhaa on kadonnut. Uusi on tullut tilalle.
Speaker 1:We are saints. We have been sanctified through Jesus' one and only work. When he washed his blood on the Roman cross, when he gave his life, we got something we didn't deserve, as the Bible says, when we were still sinful. Christ died for us when we were still sinful, and Christ died for us Through His blood. We have received a new life. We have received our sins as forgiveness. And not only that, we have received our sins as forgiveness, we have received a new creation. We have received, once and for all, saints. We are no longer what we used to be anymore.
Speaker 1:Some of you have memories of what your life was like. Maybe you have witnessed it a few times, what it was like, and when we witness it, we don't have to witness 25 minutes of what we used to be, and then it ends. Your testimony ended and then I came to faith. You know you give glory to God. Then, yes, you can spend a little time there, that you share where you're going, that people can understand, that they can get help who is perhaps in the same situation. But we should use the good time of our testimony to what the Lord did and then what we now have in Him. The life of a Christian is not like that. You had fun before and then the Lord came, took all the fun from your life and now we're waiting for heaven.
Speaker 1:Jesus said in John 10, that I have come to give life and to fill it with life. That life is once and for all in its perfect quality and in its highest quality, hallelujah. It is huge, it comes in great numbers and it is of the best quality. It is an extraordinary life. It is a heavenly life, a life that is beyond all other, a life that brings fulfillment. You can rise up excited in the morning to bed. Those of you who were in the morning heard some of the truth. You can't Things can the morning. You can't Things can stay behind. You can go forward with excitement, right, say with me a new creation. So we meet Jesus' blood, his covenant, his cross, work the Holy God, who has washed us clean, made us new and now we have a living relationship with Him.
Speaker 1:Many do not believe that they have received a real encounter with the Holy Spirit of God. They do not understand that there is a better way to live. The Holy Spirit of God is live. God's Holy Spirit is present. Notice that God's Spirit's name is Holy Spirit. He is a powerful spirit, but His name is not just a powerful spirit. He is a spirit of wisdom, but His name is not just a spirit of wisdom. He is the Spirit of love, goodness, compassion and all that God has created. He is all that Spirit, but he is the Holy Spirit.
Speaker 1:And what I want to share with you for a moment today and I have already talked about this for a moment is that when you look at the life where you live and the tasks that God has given you, one part of how you can see the fulfillment and experience God's power is that you move forward in the area that the Bible calls a sanctuary. When you see God. Like John saw Jesus as he was, he fell on his feet just like he was dead. So, in other words, he fell under God's power and Jesus had to say don't be afraid. There's no reason to be afraid.
Speaker 1:Why is it that when an angel comes from the presence of God's holiness in people's lives, first of all the angel has must say don't be afraid. Because when something that comes from God's presence, from God's holiness, in the same way as Luke 5, when Peter's eyes opened, he understood who Jesus was. He ended up at the bottom of the boat and said I'm a sinful man. This is like in Isaiah 6th century, when Isaiah is taken to the throne, he sees God in the throne. He ends up saying Lord, I live among people who have sinful mouths and I have sinful mouths. God has called us to change his own state of being from holiness to holiness is, is, is, is, is, is, is, is, is, is, is, is, is.
Halleluja, kuinka moni on valmis lisää muuttumaan? Vai ootko jo muuttunut riittymättä. Muutamat ei nostanut kättä ylös.
Speaker 1:Te eskentelet ettei sä ette ymmärrä suomea. Thank you Lord. What does it mean? It means that we own more and more to God. You can decide today evening. Thank you, lord, for all the good that he has done in my life. You have seen huge things victories in service, in personal life, in your own relationship with the Lord, in your prayer moments, you have come to exalt him in the presence of God.
Speaker 1:Omassa suhteessa Herran kanssa, rukoushetkissä saa tulla Jumalan läsnäolossa, ylistää häntä. Mutta, tiedätkö, sä voit tänään päättää. Mä haluan enemmän ja enemmän omistautua hänelle, enemmän enemmän. Mä rakastan häntä kaikista eniten. Mun elämä on erotettu hänelle. Ja sitten on asioita joista me erottaudutaan pois, on asioita joihin me otetaan eroa, eli on asioita joita me ei enää sallita meidän elämässä. Hebrealaiskirja 12 ja 14. Hebrealaiskirja 12 ja 14 sanoo Verse 12-14 says this can be a good word for someone who has a personality like that.
Speaker 1:You're a little grumpy. It's good to strive for peace with everyone and to the sanctification, for without it no one is a seeing Lord. Say with me to the sanctification, say with me. The Lord has called me to be a saint. Again, I'll return to what it means to be a God. Everyone of you has gifts, abilities, not ever step into that huge potential.
Speaker 1:Regardless of that huge call, there is a lack of separation and ownership of the Lord, and then there are things that cannot be removed. Let's keep the cross as white as possible from something. I will keep this closed. You're white as a rock. You're stuck in something. I'm holding this thing, even though God's Spirit speaks about it, that this thing, this attitude, this thing in your life. It doesn't lead to anything good If I use this as a bad example, but sometimes it works and maybe it doesn't. It's like a young boy who opens his eyes and sees a potential avioliitto candidate, but then he thinks that this young woman is better off not talking to his friend. It might be better not to talk about him to my friends, or especially to my parents, or in any case to my young pastor. These can be red flags that can tell whether this candidate is a good candidate or not.
Speaker 1:Some of us have been called to live in the light. Don't get annoyed by my example. Some of you are in a situation where you are in a sink and some of you are here in the avioliitos, same with you, who are watching and listening to this later. But do you know that we are called to live in the light, we are called to the sanctification. First Peter's book, first Luke, 1 Peter 1, verse 15. Say it with me in all your walk. What does that walk mean? Do I have to go to walk? Tomi, amen, separation from God, and then separation from things that are not heavenly things. God appears to us. Do you know how much hunger grows in our hearts when God's presence fills us? Like Psalm 91 says, when we are in the protection of all nations, all nations in God's presence, in his protection, there are things in our lives that lose their meaning.
Speaker 1:How many have noticed that there were some things that you were a real fan of or liked. It was something that was in your life and then, when you were just in his body, it didn't matter. The fact that Finland won the ice hockey tournament wasn't the first thing. The fact that your favourite football team won the tournament maybe you still like sports, but it wasn't something that sent you to a two-week hunger strike. Whether you won or not, it didn't take you to the mat on your feet or some other things. Some of you might not care about sports at all, but you might have some other things that were important to you. So you kind of notice in God's presence that your importance system changes.
Speaker 1:You differentiate what is heavenly and you know when God has given us a call. Then part of it is the piety that we differentiate what is heavenly. Through your hands, the power of God can heal people who need help and your hearts are broken. Maybe your bodies are in great pain and you want to see the power of God. This is the thing that I believe in. The first thing that takes us forward is that we see the power of God moving in our midst, when we see how this family needs the presence of the power of God, when we see how this generation needs the power of God to be present.
Speaker 1:And then verse 16, 1 Peter, 1. For it is written Be holy, for I am holy. There's also this God is a holy God. John met Jesus as he really is, and that had a great meaning, a great effect, even though Johannes was already very far in his journey. What is this about?
Speaker 1:Even though we were the 12th favorite teaching child, you know there is always more than we don't know. Yet he has some kind of wisdom, understanding, power, all the bad things that you can get into as a believer. You think you already know everything about God, and I don't want to point out anyone with guilty fingers or criticize anyone who doesn't know. Names and meanings can mean different things to everyone. I understand that when we talk about the meaning of words, but for me theology has always been a word that I have borrowed, because for me it has always meant that I study everything that I can study, and now I know who God is. You know, we could spend a billion years studying and we wouldn't get to the beginning.
Speaker 1:On Tiedkö me voitais käyttää vaikka miljardivuotta opiskellen ja me ei päästäskö vasta alkuun. Ja miten yksi tapa millä lailla me halutaan mennä näissä asioissa eteenpäin On erottautua Jumalalle. Moni on teistä täällä En nyt osoita ketään sormella, ja, and unless the Lord reveals it, I will not publicly share it.
Speaker 1:And, to put it bluntly, many things are not even meant to be publicly shared. But many people here have had things that prevent you from moving forward. If you would separate from the Lord, you would see what God has for you. Separating from what. What is the world? What is sin? What is the smell of this world? How many of you know what I mean?
Speaker 1:If you've ever been camping with a firecracker, all your clothes smell like smoke. Then you go to a friend's house and at a distance of 10 meters you're like where the hell have you been? Your clothes smell like smoke. When you've been warming up At least this is how you should be warming up You're frozen in the camp fire, but your clothes have that smell that comes from the music. We shouldn't have this world's smell, but we should have heavenly smell and we should have that heavenly touch of God that we bear in our lives. Say amen. We have been called to be holy because he is holy, and I can say this to you with courage Amen, meidät on kutsuttu olemaan pyhiä, sillä hän on pyhä, ja mä voin sanoa tän sulle rohkasuna.
Speaker 1:Don't explain things that are not okay in your life. Those who believe are professionals in explaining it. Don't accept all of it. Don't accept. There are things that we shouldn't accept in our lives and you can decide I don't accept this anymore.
Speaker 1:I don't accept this way of living in my life anymore. I don't want to live like this anymore in my life. I don't want to be what would be a good. Tell me some good Finnish words Kiukkupussi, what? Äkäpussi? That's a very heard word. It just brings the spirit of recovery. It just says the word that I don't want.
Speaker 1:Think now if there was one way to film you on your Wikipedia page in years to come when someone writes you an article. No, I want something else. Maybe that's what you've been like. I don't want to be a coward. I don't want to be proud. I don't want to be a coward. I don't want to always want what someone else has. I don't want to be someone who's always bothered by what's happening around me and my gaze isn't focused on what God has called me to do. Every situation is a little different because we have a different background, but you know, this evening you can take steps.
Speaker 1:Jokaisen tilanne on vähän erilainen kun meillä on erilainen tausta. Mutta tiedätkö, tänä iltana sä voit ottaa askeleita, Herra. Kiitos, herra. Mä haluan nähdä että mä haluan mennä eteenpäin. Mä haluan asioita, herra, mistä mä haluan erottautua pois. Mä en halua enää tällä viikolla, elää samalla lailla kun Amen when the Lord appeared to him.
Speaker 1:Don't invent lies, don't invent reasons, don't explain it Well, because I have this and that, but simply humbly take in the word of God and then be humble to that word. Be ready for change. Lord, you said it, I can do it. I can take it in. Lord, you said I can do it, I can take it. Lord, you called me to separate from the holy life. Maybe you're the first in your family who will live a clean life, maybe you're the first in your whole village where you're from, but you know you're won't be the last one to stay. There will be others in your age group, in your professional field, in your field of business life, in those areas where the Lord has called you to, which will produce good results. So don't explain, don't solve things that you know don't belong to your life.
Speaker 1:If someone from this congregation, or especially those graduated from the Bible school, if someone is founding a monkey store in some town, I will come and get the diploma and tear it apart. Mikael is going to join us on the journey. We will tear apart the diploma and when I say why did you say that? Why did you say that so loudly? I said it because we are called to be a blessing to people and if you differentiate so that no one even sees you, how can you be a blessing to anyone? It's a fleshly response to a spiritual problem. Only through the Holy Spirit of God can we see that work when we do cooperation with Him by separating. God calls people here tonight to separate from certain things and to own wholeheartedly to the living God. That really serves the living God in the power of God.
Speaker 1:1 Thessalonians 4 and 3. 1 Thessalonians 4 and 3. 1 Thessalonians 4 and 3 says this For this is the will of God, your blessing that you bear mourning. What is mourning? All the sex outside the Christian avioliiton which is between men and women. You are covering the fear.
Speaker 1:We have modern ways of how we can make sins nowadays. What was much more difficult for our great-grandparents and parents is now much simpler. But the Bible says here this is an unchanging and unchanging word of God this is God's will, your salvation, that you bear the burden. This is one way in which the enemy wants to take this knee to his own. You have to make a decision in your heart and life that I will separate.
Speaker 1:Like Joseph who ran out of the door without clothes If you think about how it looked like optics in that situation Not very good when you leave the door knocking, running without clothes. But he went running in the other direction. This is one thing that relates to sexual impurity. You have to run in the other direction. You are cutting down the noise.
Speaker 1:Say with me God's will is my salvation, it's God's will to me, towards you, towards us as individuals, as a church, that we can be a holy church, that there are things that are not okay and things that are okay. It's exactly the same as what the world does. The world does what the world does. The world does what it has always done. It does sins because it is in the power of sin. But we are not from this world. We are in this world.
Speaker 1:Let's go back to the monk-soul-bearer comparison. The world is called to be the light in this world, and the way the enemy wants to bring the powerlessness, the compromise, the finally boredom. The powerlessness, the compromise, the eventually boredom. A congregation that doesn't have the right excitement, doesn't have the right enthusiasm, is through the compromise, through the drunkenness, through the impurity. But you can make a decision today that I want to separate from God, and if you have to make a improvement in some area, you have a chance this evening. You can leave today with a clean heart and take good steps, good steps. Don't put yourself in a situation where you have to compromise. And this doesn't really have an age limit, nor does it have a man or a woman, young, a little older. So God's will towards us is that we are saved, we are your salvation, that you bear the burden.
Speaker 1:This is a recurring theme, also in the Bible. For what reason? Because, even though times have changed, technology has changed, in these times this is still the same thing that it was 2000 years ago. Meat has its own desires and desires, but thank you, lord, for the power of the Holy Spirit. How many are grateful for the fruit of self-healing, jumalan pyhän hengen voimasta.
Speaker 1:Kuinka moni on kiitollinen itse hillinnan hedelmästä? Mutta kun ihmiset saa opetusta siitä että meidät on luotu Jumalan kuvaksi, joka, but when people learn that we have been created as the image of God, who is the Holy God, and we have been called to live the Holy Life, then there is no question of any religious control, which in fact is hellish, but there is a question of heavenly life which God has for us, which brings forth the light and power of God.
Speaker 1:Itse asiassa, put all your electronic devices in the fridge or in the fridge. Actually, did you know that your great-grandparents ie without phones, are able to survive in their souls? Just the fact that you're alive at the moment shows that it's possible for a person to survive without computers and devices, that it's better that you don't have those vampires and that you live a life where you have peace and life with the Lord Because you have all those devices. I don't mean that we have to go back to the 1930s technologically, but if it requires it, then preferably the other way around. Amen, hallelujah, thank you, lord.
Speaker 1:And one huge opening is that you know you have such friends who are truly separated from the Lord, who love the Lord, such people whose church you can't even get to talk to. How many of you have such friends? Do you have any? If you start talking about lierum laurum, they will give you a reply right away. They are valuable friends.
Speaker 1:I have friends who sometimes say I'm stupid, it's a stupid thing I've never heard in my nice. I have friends who sometimes say that I'm stupid. They say that's a stupid thing I've ever heard in my life. I say, okay, it's the first time it's heard. But then you say, okay, that's how it should be, let's make a difference. So the church is an important thing. What kind of church?
Speaker 1:Good friends, good connection can keep you safe, because if you decide that you don't differentiate between believers, then people can help you, because some of you have done this in the past years, that you know that what you intend to do requires that you take a distance from certain people. You have to differentiate between good people and people of different backgrounds, because what you plan to do you cannot do in their company. Is anyone here? And one challenge we have in this generation is that people do things because they think they don't have a future. But you know, all we do is the future. All of the future doesn't come immediately. Some of them come later, but you can be sure that there will be a day of creation and you will give a place to all of them. Amen to bring things to the Lord with a pure heart and decide that I want to move forward in this. Say amen, isn't that right? So people imagine that I can get out of this like a dog's leash. I don't know if anyone knows that comparison. We don't have to have a leash and many of you don't have a dog.
Speaker 1:But we actually plan to put our next theme this doesn't relate to anything else except the word blood. But our next theme is an national environment, but really Finnish. It's Finnish rough rocks, finnish coffee cups and Finnish theme. We have planned to make a kind of haystack around the visitors for the first time. How many of you know what a haystack is? It's probably one of the most classic Finnish things.
Speaker 1:A haystack is made from traditional haystacks. Before that they were used to make white ugly huts, where hay is now packed. Apparently some people are good at it, but before that hay was made from it. But let's go back to that short tour. There was just that. Yes, if you have hay in the dryer, you can bring it. You can bring it, but Pretty good, I can bring it.
Speaker 1:But don't steal. Don't separate from the old ways. The Bible says whoever stole no longer steals, Don't steal anymore. Whoever lied no longer lies. You can go there if you have the word of the Lord and say that the Lord needs these, but that also requires a positive response from Him who frees you from the work of the kingdom. Amen. Let's make a difference. But I was talking about the dog the dog Before I started talking about the hayseed. But all of these things bring joy to someone, so they have their own job.
Speaker 1:Sometimes people think that I do this but I don't get stuck and there are no consequences. I'm afraid to ask how many people got a kiss here when they were kids. So I won't ask that, I'll just mention it quickly. But you know, if you got a slap as a kid, you knew that the principal was often scared. In school there was a line to the principal. You you young people don't know anything about it, but the rector was scared because you could hear the rector's speech Not only with verbal feedback but with other consequences In certain parts of your body.
Speaker 1:But it just teaches you that there are consequences and the problem that we have in the middle of this generation where we live, many people think that there are no consequences. For me, because there are no immediate consequences when you do them. So you do something that you didn't want to do, but then you notice the next day, well, there really wasn't any consequences. But we have to understand with faith that all the things we do in the Word of God, they have consequences and the Bible actually speaks of when our sin comes to find us. So what we do is we find it at some point in front of us. So that's why the fact that we can go forward in this area it really requires a complete and powerful ownership of God's plan and the fact that we give the work of the Holy Spirit to us. Amen, that you are completely, completely given to it. And often on holidays. There were such gatherings in the last 100, 120 years where people really went to the altar, went to the face of the Lord and really wanted the Lord to do a deep work in life. We need it together. We need it also individually. In some things, you just have to go to your own bedroom and close the door when you can be in peace and go to the Lord and wholeheartedly ask the Lord for something. Give the Holy Spirit to do the work that he can do.
Speaker 1:Let's read a few more verses, almost ready. The Heinesseifestalina was too much. It was actually my father who did an old age. He was able to do them well, but he has gone into eternity a long time ago. Let's see who we find to do the Philippians 2, 12.
Speaker 1:Philippians 2, 12. Greetings to Pentti. Philippians 2, 12. So, my dear, just as you have always been listeners, did you find all the Philippians 2? I just wanted to read them all together. This is from the Bible. Let's read it together. This is an old version. So, my dear, just as you have always been listeners, so be bold, not only like when I was your servant. This is an old verse. Say hallelujah. Would you like to read it again? Well, I'm in charge of this event so I can read it again.
Speaker 1:Let's read from Acts 13. For God is the one who affects you in both desire and action. That his good will be done. Do all the wicked and the wicked that you be immoral and pure. Be the ungrateful children of God among the circle and the wicked family whose group you glorify like the stars in the world. Hallelujah, hallelujah. Get rid of everything that exists in this world. Get rid of such round-trips ways of thinking. Be ready to face those crazy thought structures.
Speaker 1:Some of you have accepted all kinds of crazy thoughts in your mind. I heard during the Bible school already here I think it's a good way to describe this you can't stop birds flying over your head, but you can stop birds making a nest in your head and hair. How many of you understand the comparison? So the fact that a bird and they dare to fly here because it's still cold at night. The bird flies in the sky, so you can stop it from flying there. Sometimes thoughts come to your mind and go, but you can prevent the thought from becoming part of what you think. How do I understand this? So, if you have these thoughts and here also good friends can help, because in your speech you always have to figure out what you think Amen, and that's why it's good that we have good friends again, that our thoughts can be aligned with God's plan and that we can shine in the middle of this generation.
Speaker 1:Oh, how much Finland really needs such people, and it's an issue that's in my heart. What for Lord, people can't. What for Finns believe? It's not so visible. What's the reason, lord, your power doesn't appear. What's the reason, lord? We can see more fruit and now we're starting to see fruit. People come in, everyone comes in. Finland is changing. This country is coming to life. Everyone's ears are listening to good news. People are coming be saved. Everyone's ears will be heard Good news. People will be turned, our hearts will be turned. Let's live for God. Hallelujah. Hey, like John who saw Jesus as he really is.
Speaker 1:When we see in this moment, when God's word opens, like Psalm 119, 130 says, when your word opens, it shines. When the word of God starts to shine, to open up to us, then we see a little more of God and then we can give, then we can separate and say Lord, thank you for that, I don't have to think like this anymore. Thank you for that, I don't have to act like this anymore. Thank you, lord, for that I can separate more and more Lord from you. Amen, I ended up lying.
Speaker 1:But the first Thessalonians, 5.23, says but rest in peace, o God, and keep your whole spirit and soul and body without fear of our Lord, jesus Christ's coming. I'll read it again but rest in peace, o God, that your word is truth. Pray to them in truth. Your word is truth. God's word does the work for us. You know you're not like everyone else. Some of you have tried to be like everyone else. Thank you, lord. We have come from the room of the temple of the Holy Spirit of God, according to the first Korintalaiskirja, 6th century, and God calls us to separate from what we have. If you are in a moving life, if that is really the call where you feel that this is the place that the Lord has for me, then separate from it. You are not like your colleagues. Hallelujah, hallelujah.
