Jesus: My Life-Giver

The life of God inside believers is supernatural and transformative, designed to restore everything broken by sin and death in this world.

Speaker 1:

I want you to open your Bible to John, chapter 1. John, chapter 1. It begins like this In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him and without Him nothing was made. That was made In Him was life and the life was the light of man. And the light shines in the darkness and the darkness did not comprehend it.

Speaker 1:

Jesus came to give us life. He said Jesus came to give us life and that life is an overwhelming life. And I'm here to remind you this morning that Jesus is your great physician. Sometimes in Finland, when people go to the doctor, they are very careful to do exactly what the doctor says Take this medicine, take this pill. What the doctor says, take this medicine, take this pill these many times a day, follow these instructions and they put the instructions on the refrigerator door and everybody follows and carefully abides by the instructions of the doctor. But I'm here to remind you that there is a greater physician Than your doctor. His name is Jesus, he is the great physician, he is the head doctor and he came to give us life and that life is twirling and reigning and ruling, and Romans 8 talks about that. We've been given a new law, that's the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus. New law, that's the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus, that is an operation in us. In the world is the law of sin and death, but in our lives there's a life and the law of life that's an operation. Say with me, say it with conviction, but say it loudly as well. Say life, that's the very life of God.

Speaker 1:

Now, if we go into the very beginning of the Bible, if you would just open the first chapter of the Bible with me, the book of Genesis, chapter 1, and Bible says there, in Genesis 1 and 26, it's pretty easy to find. It's the beginning. If your neighbor can't find it, just help him so you can follow with us. Genesis 1 26 says then God said let us make man in our image, according to our likeness. Let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, over the cattle and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth. So if it creeps, you have dominion over it. Amen. But notice what God says Let us make man in our image. God made you into his likeness. Think about that. God made you into his image. And then, in verse 27, it says so God created man in his own image, in the image of God. He created him Male and female. He created them. God created you into his image. You know that there is no problem and there is nothing lacking. Nothing is missing and nothing is broken. When you are made in God's image, that means that God's original creation was a perfect creation. If you go into the end of the chapter, verse 31. What does it say there? In verse 31 of Genesis 1? It says then God saw everything that he had made and indeed it was very good. Say with me very good. And then the end of the verse. There it says so the evening and the morning were the sixth day. In other words, god made you into his image, he made you into his likeness. Say with me nothing broken, say nothing lacking and nothing missing. When he made you into his likeness, into his image, he made you very good. So in God's original creation, we find out what God's real plan is.

Speaker 1:

How many of you ever played with Legos many years ago? How many ever stepped on a Lego? More people stepped on a Lego, that played with Legos Feels like some people came alive. Yeah, I did step on one one time. But when your child is playing with Legos, you can see a creation coming and forming before your eyes. Who played with Legos? Seriously, I'm not saying you played with them this morning. I'm saying at one point of your life you played with Legos. Seriously, I'm not saying you played with them this morning. I'm saying at one point of your life you played with Legos.

Speaker 1:

You are creating something. Or your daughter, your son, is creating something with those building blocks and they are making it whatever they want to make. They can make a car, they can make a. I remember building a safe one time with mechanics, how you can have the different wheels and the things, and you could make all kinds of things. They even had those hydraulics. Who had the hydraulics? All kinds of things you can make happen, amazing things you can make happen.

Speaker 1:

But when you are playing or when your child is playing with Legos, they are creating something that they can see within their minds and in their hearts and they're putting it into existence unless, of course, you're following the manual and those things. But I just like to make some stuff. Who likes to make some stuff and not just follow the manual every time, not just follow the instructions. You just want to. I'm going to make something, but usually it didn't come as good as If it would have been If you would have followed the instructions. But when God had, god was creating us, he made everything perfect, he made everything very good, he made us into his likeness. So when we know from God's original creation that there was no sickness, there was no disease, there was no curse, nothing was lacking, there was no sickness, there was no disease, there was no curse, nothing was lacking, there was no poverty, there was a blessing, there was an abundance, everything was functioning. You know that human body is an incredible creation.

Speaker 1:

I don't understand people who say that we evolved. I know your study books say it in school that you evolved. But if we just pause and think about that, do you know that mutations do not create something better? An explosion doesn't leave things in a better shape. There are certain laws in the universe that things degrade rather than get better. If you leave something outside in the winter, you come find it in the spring. It's not better, it's worse. Who understands what I mean? Like when we lived in Florida. You left your bicycle outside because the humidity is insane. That thing is rusted throughout in a few months. Things don't get better, they get worse.

Speaker 1:

Everything about us cries creator, creator, creator, nobody. If you're on your way home, you find on your way home. Now somebody's going to start really looking. Now that I mentioned this, if you find a Rolex watch on the side of the road, nobody says, oh, look that, just formed there by itself, must have been millions of years and waves and rain and hail and look at that beautiful. No, you look at the intricacy, the detail, the gears and everything. And the thing is functioning and operating and displaying a time. You know that somebody made that.

Speaker 1:

And then when we look at other people, we look at one another, we look at ourselves in the mirror. We see the handiwork of the greatest creator, our heavenly father, the creator of heaven and earth. Can you say hallelujah? So when he created us, he made us very good, he made us perfect. So in the beginning of everything, in the beginning, god created the heavens and the earth and then he formed us. He made us into his likeness, into his image. So in creation, in the first chapter of the Bible, we find out that God made us very good.

Speaker 1:

And then if we look at Romans 5 and 12, romans 5 and 12, go there with me, romans 5 and 12. Because some of you are thinking well, what happened? Not everything is perfect in my life. It's very important that this thing is established in your heart, that you know what comes from heaven and what does not come from heaven. Just because you're going through some things, you're experiencing some things, there's some storms in your life, attacks against your physical body. That does not make you automatically a bad person. That just means that there's some forces at play. But when we realize that God's creation, god's original plan for us was without sickness or without disease, that helps us, it energizes our faith and say, hey, well, what happened?

Speaker 1:

Romans 5 and 12 says, therefore, just as through one man, sin entered the world and death through sin. Say that with me, death came through sin and you know that sickness is a beginning of death. Unless that sickness is stopped, it's going to result in death. Unless that thing is removed, unless the healing comes, that sickness is going to produce death. In other words, sin with it produced death and through death and by death, everything else that we may be fighting against in our bodies right now came to the world sin, death and everything that came with it sickness, disease. If you've ever been in a hospital, in seen people, their physical bodies destroyed by sickness and disease, you know that sickness is from hell. You know that that thing did not come from heaven. That thing did not originate from heaven. When you see the damage that a sickness and disease does, when you see the damage that a sickness and disease does and here in the beginning of the Bible, we can be established firmly that God was not the author. There was not an eighth day where God created sickness and disease. But death came through sin. And then another thing we can look at to find out where sickness originates from Is to find out what happens when our work on the earth is done, when our days on the earth are done.

Speaker 1:

When we look into the end of the book, when we look into the book of Revelation and we look at how things are going to be like in heaven, how many of you read the end of the book? Do you know that we win? When you were growing up, did you ever read the end of the book just to find out if it has a happy ending, and then you wouldn't even read it if you? No, not too many, I think. But we can read, of course, the whole Bible, but we can also read the end of the book and we can find out. We actually come out victorious.

Speaker 1:

I said we come out victorious, and if you look at Revelation 21 and 4, revelation 21 and 4, the Bible says there, and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes and there shall be no more death. Say with me no more death. In other words, death is going to be dealt with and then there will be no more death. That which came because of sin, and when the great deceiver, satan, is locked up and put away, everything changes. Death is dealt with, deceit, lies, satan is dealt with. There will be no more death, no more sorrow, no more crying. There shall be no more death, no more sorrow, no more crying. There shall be no more pain. Say with me no more pain.

Speaker 1:

For the former, things have passed away. In other words, when we look into the beginning, where God created everything perfect, and then we look into the heavenly realm, we see things, and we see things that are perfect, that there's no more sickness, there's no more disease, there's no more pain, there's no more death, amen. So when we establish these truths in our hearts and in our lives, we can say well, now we know that these things do not come from heaven. Because in the creation and in the eternal time we know what God's will is, because in those times God's will will be fully enforced. Does that make sense to you? So we can see from the heart of God this is what His will is. Revelation 22 and 3. A few verses ahead Revelation 22 and 3. And few verses ahead Revelation 22 and 3. And there will be no more curse. It says there will be no more curse, no more curse. Say with me no more curse. So no death, no pain, no more curse. When God's plan is fully enforced, when His will is fully enforced, there's no more sickness, there's no more pain, there's no more curse and there's no more death.

Speaker 1:

But when I began to read from John, chapter 1, jesus came to give life, because you may be thinking well, that's a nice thing, that's God's plan. But what about us now? In Him, life was manifested so we could partake from that life. What is that life? That's the life of God himself. That's the zoe life, the word in Greek, it's the zoe life. That's the life of God, god's eternal life that's come to live and dwell on the inside of us. If you're born again and saved, say with me, I have the life of God, you have the life of God. That life was manifest. And that life, when that life overwhelms you, it brings restoration, it brings healing. It's time for this life to be made manifest in our lives and through our lives, so that God's life can be seen in this generation, oh, hallelujah.

Speaker 1:

I believe we should fight against death any means possible, the work of doctors and nurses we appreciate those positions. But the life that we're talking about, the life of God, this is not natural, ordinary healing that is brought in by body's own ability to heal itself or assisting it by restoring and patching things up. Sometimes that's necessary. Who's ever used a band-aid? You were leaking and you put a band-aid on and the leakage stopped. But then what happened? Your body was able to recover itself. That scratch, that cut was healed.

Speaker 1:

But what I'm talking about? When the God kind of life, the eternal life, the eternal life of God, is made manifest in your life, when that life that Jesus came to bring us, when he said in John 10, 10,. I've come to give you life, and life more abundant. When that life is made manifest in your life, that's not something, that's a natural healing, that is a supernatural that is produced by the very Spirit of Christ that is bringing the life of God alive in you. Oh hallelujah, thank God for your brains and your intellect and your physical abilities, but I'm talking about the supernatural, holy Spirit, given life and restoration that's supposed to be flowing and overflowing in the church. Amen.

Speaker 1:

If there's an accident, you know in the natural we understand the value of an ambulance and a nurse and a first aid. The person who comes with the emergency services to help that person, but really everyone here is an emergency services person. It's good to know CPR and the first aid and all those things. But I'm telling you, when the life of God flows out of you, you are going to be a heavenly first emergency services responder. Somebody should smile a little bit here. Somebody help me, I'm almost done.

Speaker 1:

That life, when it flows from you, that life, what does that life bring? Well, jesus taught us how to pray In Matthew 6 and 10,. He says let your will be done on earth as it is in, as it is in. So Jesus said I'm sending you as my ambassadors to bring forth my will on the earth as it is in heaven. We know from the original creation there was no sickness or disease, there was no curse, there was no death. And when the life of God is manifested, that life that Jesus came to bring us, when that life is manifested in your life and through your life, then there's going to be everything that heaven has to be brought on the earth.

Speaker 1:

Oh, hallelujah, say life, say it in Finnish. Say Elama a little better. Say Elama, make it a little longer. Say hallelujah, let that life spring out of you, my goodness. And you know that his voice activated. Somebody's got to say something. I said somebody got to say something. That's why I gave you some books in the beginning. Lord, have mercy. Some kind of a sound has to come forth through and from your life. You've had enough of whining, you've had enough of complaining, you've had enough of talking about the issues. It's time to bring forth the life of God. By the very spirit of God that's been given to us.

Speaker 1:

Jesus came to give us life. Life was manifested. We were hopelessly bound by death and curse and sin, but then life appeared, light appeared, jesus appeared and now we have life. Yes, the thief comes to steal and kill and destroy, but Jesus said I've come to give you life and life more abundantly. Life Sometimes you got to speak life, whatever is going on in your life, sometimes you just got to speak life.

Speaker 1:

Some of you need to speak to yourself. Life, speak to your body. There's life, life Speak some. Life in your business Life, life in your family. The enemy does what he's always been doing he steals, kills and destroys. But Jesus came to bring us life. And that life is raining, that life is taking ground in Finland and there's nothing the enemy can do about it. Oh, hallelujah, I pray everyone on the sound of my voice. Jesus sees Jesus as he really is. He came to give us life. Oh, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah.

Speaker 1:

My faith is not founded on what I feel or what I see, but it's founded on what God's word says. Say it with me one more time. Say life, hallelujah, hallelujah. Well, I preach myself happy. Well, I preach myself happy. And you can have an irritation and hatred towards all sickness and disease, and that's not to hate or to be irritated with the people that are sick or diseased or in pain or struggling, but you actually have compassion for people, that you want to see that life of God manifest. You want to see that life. That's what Jesus brought when he was on the earth and he said it's better than I go away. Why was it better? Because when the Holy Spirit came, he, he brought that life to us so that we could become ambassadors of that light. We are sharing that light and that life and that life is spreading that in your life, life, in your personal life, there's life. That's been Hallelujah, like it says in Romans 4 and 21,.

Speaker 1:

Abraham was fully persuaded that what God had promised he's able to do. God is willing and he's able. Say with me, god is willing and he's able. Say with me God is willing and he's able. Many times believers don't have a problem with the part where it says that God is able, but sometimes believers have a problem with if he's willing. But in the ministry and life of Jesus, you see that question answered comprehensively and fully. He did not turn anyone away who came to him worshiping and the receiving and believing, and he's the same today, jesus Christ, the same yesterday, today and forever.

I want you to lift up your hands to heaven.

Speaker 1:

I want you to lift up your hands to heaven. Father, I thank you for that life that was manifest in the Son and life has been made available to us. Father, in the name of Jesus, let that life, life, life, lord, in every relationship, even in the area of visions and dreams. Let there be life. Every heart that's broken, let there be life. Life in the physical body, life in the mind. Let life in the mind. There'll be life that your people will live in the light and live full of your life. Eternal life, god, kind of life. There'll be life, even with the ladies, if they received the report that they cannot have children. Let there be life in Jesus' name. There's been people with issues, even in the area of emotions and health, emotionally. Let there be life that they'll love, they'll have joy, They'll have peace, they'll be excited about life, whatever the enemy's been able to steal and kill and destroy. I thank you, lord, that life is reigning, that Christ is still the way, the truth and the life. He is resurrection and life to you, in Jesus' name.
