Alberta Odell Jones
The life story of Alberta Odell Jones is a fascinating one, and the story of her death remains a bit of a mystery. Alberta was the first black woman to pass the Kentucky Bar exam, as well as Muhammed Ali's first lawyer, and 56 years ago this week her body was found in the Ohio River after dying under pretty suspicious circumstances. We explore some theories about what might have happened to Alberta on that night in 1964, and some highlights from her 34 years of life.
