Aurora and Angelina welcome to the show Victoria Roland, host of the podcast Unseen: The Trafficked Truth. Her podcast provides a safe space for survivors of human trafficking to share their story on their terms -- and Victoria is the perfect person for the job, because on top of being very warm and easy to talk to, Victoria has the perspective of being a survivor herself. Victoria opened up to MMN about her experience as a trafficking survivor, how she managed to escape, and how she turned this terrible situation into motivation to help other survivors on their journey. As well, she clears up some misconceptions about trafficking, and what a trafficking situation really looks like.
