2 Chronicles 10-12: The Son of Solomon Who Did Not Seek Wisdom

What happens when a king rejects wise counsel and chooses foolishness instead? 

Solomon may have been the wisest man on earth, but his son Rehoboam is the king of folly. And when Rehoboam throws out his father’s wise advice and listens to his young friends, the result is catastrophic.

Despite the tragedy of 2 Chronicles 10-12, it’s a witness to the fact that human foolishness can never spoil God’s plans.
