World of Horror with Mom & Mac
Mother and son team Mom and Mac discuss, analyze, dissect and explore international horror movies. Conversations are casual but spoiler-heavy. We take turns choosing a genre or subgenre of horror and pairing an international film with an American one. Past episodes have included: Funny Games, One Missed Call, Let the Right One In/Let Me In. Genres we have covered are Animal Attack (BOAR from Australia and TREMORS); Creepy Kids (GOODNIGHT, MOMMY from Austria and ORPHAN); Battle Royale-type films (BATTLE ROYALE from Japan and THE BELKO EXPERIMENT); Haunted Houses (THE HOUSE AT THE END OF TIME from Venezuela and BEETLEJUICE). This week for the final regular episode of S3, we looked at the 2011 Canadian found footage cult classic, GRAVE ENCOUNTERS and the 2018 Korean modern variation on a theme, GONJIAM: HAUNTED ASYLUM.
We also discuss favorite movies from October, Uhh Yeah Dude, Mom's zoomie cat, Rosey, and how gosh darned nice it is to record together in the same room!!
