We saw this coming. The question is—are we ready?

🔴 Watch for my take on:

  • Why this chaos is 100% by design
  • The coordinated effort behind these protests

Speaker 1:

What a weekend. The anti-ice riots in Los Angeles have been completely out of control. The Summer of Love 2.0 has arrived. Hey everybody, I'm Julie Barrett and I'm the founder of Conservative Ladies of America. The Summer of Love 2.0 is underway.

Speaker 1:

I think most of us anticipated that this was coming with some of the rhetoric that we've been seeing in blue states over the last couple of months. We've seen some unrest in Seattle, and I think there's been some in Portland, but if you've been paying attention to the chatter from the left, you know that they have been ramping up in response to the Trump administration, and so this was definitely something that most of us anticipated, and as I've been watching what's going on in Los Angeles over the weekend, I was really thinking back to 2020. And I had just started Conservative Ladies of Washington as a Facebook group, and I started the Facebook group as a way to connect my conservative lady friends in Washington to meet other conservatives, because one of my friends had asked me how do you meet conservative lady friends? And so that's why I created the group. And shortly after I created this Facebook group, we had the shutdown of COVID, and that grew the group very quickly, and then at the end of May we had the death of George Floyd, which had the riots in Minnesota, and then also that was followed by Chaz Chop in Seattle the summer of love, as former mayor Jenny Durkan called it in Seattle and that brought a lot of ladies into the Facebook group thousands of ladies actually, which really surprised me because I wouldn't have thought there were that many conservative women in the state of Washington. And obviously we have grown from that little Facebook group into a legit 501 C4 organization, expanding into a national presence where we're really focused on policy.

Speaker 1:

But I want to rewind a little bit back to 2020 and kind of what was going on during that time and what we were seeing, because one of the things that really stands out to me is that citizens were really engaged. First of all, it was an election year and you had Donald Trump versus Joe Biden and in Washington state, you had Lauren Culp versus incumbent governor Jay Inslee and you had the COVID lockdowns and in Washington state it was really, really strict and tight. You couldn't leave your home unless you had to go out for an essential reason, like you had to go to the grocery store, the doctor or something like that. However, people were free to violently protest to take over the Seattle Police West Precinct. That was okay, but you couldn't leave your home unless it was for an essential need, and that really got people aware of what was going on and really kind of got people activated. People were out helping with campaigns and really paying attention and really engaging. I remember the Washington State Board of Health meetings where people could make public comment. You'd have hundreds of citizens signed up to make public comment about the COVID vaccines, and so what I was seeing over this weekend just really reminded me of that time when people were really activated.

Speaker 1:

And one of the things that's happened since then is, as things calmed down and the COVID restrictions were lifted, people have kind of gotten back into their routine and become a little bit more complacent, really not very engaged, and we're kind of back to where we were. And so I want to take this opportunity to just share some thoughts on the protests and kind of what I think is all behind it. Now I'll remind you that I'm not some political strategist, I'm not a lobbyist, I'm just a concerned citizen who got a bee in her bonnet and I've started going down rabbit holes in legislation and different policy matters and really trying to analyze these situations, and I guess I would say that God has kind of given me a passion for this and he's made it make sense to me in ways that it didn't before. And so this morning I posted on X. I said understand what's being allowed to happen in Democrat run states and cities is not because their elected leaders are dumb morons, insane, idiots, et cetera. This is 100% by design and intentional. This is an anti-American movement to destruct America as we know it.

Speaker 1:

What we're seeing today is far more organized and larger in scale than what we saw in the summer of 2020.

Speaker 1:

These people know exactly what they're doing, and if your children go to public schools in these states and cities, they are almost certainly being exposed to efforts of decolonization, and from what I see so far, the pro America side hasn't figured out on a large scale how to fight fire with fire.

Speaker 1:

So I kind of want to expand on this with you today. What we saw in 2020 was something that was spurred by the George Floyd death and then Black Lives Matter, and then it just kind of um went out into other blue cities. You saw it in New York, you saw it in Portland, you saw it in Seattle, los Angeles, san Francisco, all of these places. What's happening now is on a much larger scale and I believe that they have been planning, strategizing and coordinating on this for a long time. In this clip of President Trump today with the news reporters, he says these are professional agitators, and that is something that every American needs to know. This is not a grassroots movement. This is not organic. These people are paid to do what they're doing. Maybe not all of them, but there is a large faction of these anarchists and these people creating chaos in Democrat run cities and states that are paid.

Speaker 2:

The people that are causing the problem are professional agitators, they're insurrectionists. They're bad people. They should be in jail.

Speaker 1:

Something that is additionally concerning from the violence that we're seeing on the streets is that you have elected leaders and politicians who are gaslighting the American people through their messaging. Gavin Newsom, of course, being the governor of California, has been at the forefront of these California riots. He's calling them protests. He's calling them peaceful. He's saying that it is Trump that is inciting the violence. Now, we've watched this enough in California to know that Gavin Newsom and the radical left Democrats that run California have created this environment. They have allowed lawlessness, they have allowed chaos and anarchy to thrive in their state, just like we see in Oregon and Washington, new York and other blue states.

Speaker 2:

These images are unacceptable. These kids on the car, the folks that are taking advantage of this, these aren't peaceful protesters. A lot of these folks, a lot of great people out there doing the right thing. But you get these surgeon groups coming in, sort of these anarchists that are in there to create real problems and they're just playing right into Donald Trump's hand and they need to be called out, they need to be arrested. It is wrong to destroy other people's property and it is wrong to create the conditions that only exacerbate this. But Donald Trump, at the end of the day, is the sponsor of these conditions.

Speaker 1:

The problem with this is you have just regular Americans who are turning on their TV or listening to their radio or their podcast, and they're hearing this messaging, this gaslighting, and they believe it. I mean the way that it sounds. If you didn't know any better. It does sound very believable. And all of these places that are sanctuary cities have done this by design. We saw in Washington with governor Bob Ferguson right after he was elected, and we saw that Trump was elected. He started organizing his team to fight against the Trump administration. So this is something that these Democrat governors and elected leaders in these cities and states have wanted since Trump won the election and they knew that they would be up against him.

Speaker 1:

Last night, gavin Newsom and every other Democratic governor in the United States put out a statement against Trump and ICE, saying that President Trump's move to deploy the California National Guard is an alarming abuse of power. Governors are the commanders in chief of their National Guard is an alarming abuse of power. Governors are the commanders-in-chief of their National Guard and the federal government activating them within their own borders without consulting or working with a state's governor is ineffective and dangerous. Further, threatening to send the US Marines into American neighborhoods undermines the mission of our service members, erodes public trust and shows the Trump administration does not trust local law enforcement. It's important that we respect the executive authority of our country's governors to manage their national guards, and we stand with Governor Newsom, who has made it clear that violence is unacceptable and that local authorities should be able to do their jobs without the chaos of this federal interference and intimidation. Now let's rewind to 2020. In Seattle, mayor Jenny Durkan and Governor Jay Inslee would not accept Trump sending in the National Guard to help the Seattle Police Department regain law and order and to deal with Antifa, who had taken over the city. This is something that we have seen around the country. This chaos is not Trump's fault, but these Democrat governors are very good in gaslighting. They're very good at manipulating the people to make it look like Trump is the one inciting the violence. Take a look at this clip that has gone viral on social media for an example of what is going on in Los Angeles. As you can see, this is anything but peaceful and the messaging that Trump and his people put out.

Speaker 1:

While I may not always agree with the exact way that they do things, they are trying to put an end to the anarchy and bring things back to a status of law and order and to make things safe for the citizens. We know that this is all by design. In Washington state this year, they passed House Bill 1321 and it had an emergency clause on it which I really felt from the beginning was a setup for the summer of 2025, the summer of love 2.0. And what house bill 1321 does is it prohibits outside militias and by militias they mean national guards and troops from outside of the state of Washington from coming into the state without the governor's consent. So if you had, say, a natural disaster or a wildfire or something, idaho could not send their national guard into Eastern Washington to help with the wildfires If Bob Ferguson did not give his consent. I 100% believe that this bill was passed because the Democrats in Washington knew that there was going to be chaos and anarchy and that, with Trump in power, that he would want to bring it into control, and this would prevent him from doing so. Now we also saw a tweet from Pete Hegseth about sending in the Marines. I don't particularly agree that this threat of the Marines on American soil is necessarily the best means of bringing things to a peaceful resolution.

Speaker 1:

I think that there are other things that we can and should be doing to maintain law and order. I think that we are going to see these riots and violent protesting spread throughout the summer. On June 14th, there is a very organized national protest called no Kings. You can go to nokingsorg to learn more. On their homepage it says in America, we don't do kings. They've defied our courts, which, of course, have been hijacked by the left. They've deported Americans, disappeared people off the streets, attacked our civil rights and slashed our services. The corruption has gone too far. No thrones, no crowns, no kings. The partners that are on the website are all of the different leftist groups that you can imagine. They are having these events all across the country, in red states, in blue states. Fortunately, if you live in a red state, you probably have a law and order state and it's probably not going to reach the violent levels that we will see happening in blue state.

Speaker 1:

This is something that every American should be concerned about, and one of the things that I mentioned in my tweet that I read earlier is that this starts in the education system. There is something called decolonization that's being taught on a wide scale. It's not new. It's been going on for decades, but it has been ramping up quickly over the last 10 years, especially over the last five years. Some states, including my former state of Washington, has even created laws mandating that this be taught in school under the guise of ethnic studies. The Washington State OSPI, which is the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction for Washington State.

Speaker 1:

They define decolonization as both the physical act of freeing a territory from external control of a colonizer and the freeing of the consciousness of the native from alienation caused by colonization. In modern ethnic studies applications, decolonization refers to the process by which the study of history, lived experience and identities are liberated from the popular or colonial narrative. So what that means is they're saying that the popular, colonial, that's the American narrative. That would be your US history, your patriotism, the constitution, the bill of rights, everything that most Americans hold dear, everything that makes America America. The aim of decolonization is to move towards self-determination, claiming an intellectual identity and active participation in the transformation of material conditions.

Speaker 1:

Specifically, anti-racism is a dismantling of white supremacy, both ideologically and in practice. And now you know that they believe that Donald Trump and most people on the right, all of the white Republicans on the right, are white supremacists. This is being taught in education In Washington state. It's mandated by law. I haven't really explored most of the other states so I'm not sure but this is something that the teachers union on a national scale. This is something that they fully believe in, and in Washington it's also mandated that the teachers be taught this ethnic studies and this decolonization. And so what you have is you have the teachers being indoctrinated so that they can indoctrinate the students as well. The education system is teaching students to hate America. They are teaching students to deconstruct America as we know it, because truly what they want is socialism. They want a communist, socialist society, and that is what they're teaching in the public schools.

Speaker 1:

In case you needed more reasons to homeschool or pull your child from public education, this is yet another reason the public schools are raising activists, and the Democrats know and they've been very good at it when you control the children, you control the population. So they have captured these young minds. As we, as parents, have sent our children off to the public schools, they have been indoctrinated with this agenda that the Democrats and the teachers unions have pushed into the public school system. Because it's summer, it's a great time If you're a parent of a school age child, this is a great time to start thinking of alternatives to the public school system, and our team at Conservative Ladies of America is here to help you figure out how to do that. If you email info at conservativeladiesofamericacom, someone from our team will connect with you and we will connect you to other homeschool resources. We really want to do anything we can to help make it possible for you to pull your child out of the public education system. It is really just not a good place for children, and if you live in any of these Democrat states like Washington, oregon, california, colorado has done some really bad legislation this year If you live in any of these states, the schools just are not even safe for your child and your child will not come out with an education, but they will be indoctrinated, they'll probably hate their country and they might even hate you.

Speaker 1:

So my prediction on all of this is that we are going to see this spread like wildfire, especially in blue states. I know that there is a protest planned for today. It's Monday, june 9th. There's a protest plan this afternoon in Tampa and here we have law and order and the sheriff's department and the police departments are all able to effectively deal with people who might be trying to create chaos and violent protests, and so I don't expect that anything too severe would happen. I think it'll all be nipped in the bud pretty quickly, and so I don't expect that anything too severe would happen. I think it'll all be nipped in the bud pretty quickly and hopefully that's what you'll see in red states. But this is something that the left has been doing and unfortunately, the Republicans and people to the right of radical left haven't really done anything to strategize and organized in anticipation of what we're seeing this year. We've had the last five years to kind of get our crap together and we haven't really done that, and so there's really not, from what I can see at this point, a great response to what we're going to see over the summer.

Speaker 1:

So I would encourage you if you haven't already watched my video called surviving chaos, I will have that linked in the description, but I encourage you to watch that.

Speaker 1:

I encourage you to be prepared.

Speaker 1:

Have your family be prepared, get to know your neighbors and the people in your community so that you are able to protect yourself from the chaos that is happening in many of these places around the country.

Speaker 1:

I do believe that it's going to get much worse, and so it is incumbent upon each of us to do what we can to protect ourselves, to protect our family and our loved ones, and to protect our immediate communities. I would love to hear your thoughts on what's been going on over the weekend the gaslighting that we're seeing coming out of Democrats, the response by the Trump administration and the Republicans to all of this chaos and anarchy that we're seeing in blue states. Please do leave a comment below and let me know your thoughts. I do try to engage as much as possible.
