Salvatore Meleca, DPM is a highly respected foot and ankle surgeon with extensive training and experience in forefoot, rearfoot and ankle reconstructive procedures as well as trauma. He completed his residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, Florida, where he was mentored by Dr. Ettore Vulcano, a world-renowned orthopedic foot and ankle surgeon. Under the directorship of Dr. Jacob Silverstone, Dr. Meleca completed a 3 year surgical residency, performing and participating in various specialty surgeries such as orthopedics, plastics, vascular and more. He has a wealth of experience in minimally invasive bunion surgery, hammertoe correction, flat foot reconstruction, tendon repairs, arthroscopy and fusion surgeries for foot and ankle arthritis. His experience with ankle fractures and general foot and ankle trauma is also a part of the strengths that Dr. Meleca possesses.
