Mass shootings have become a daily occurrence in the US and nothing meaningful is being done about it.  Additionally, the amount of murders in our country are at record levels.  Was this the intent of the Second Amendment?  I say no and explain why.

I'll share many statistics that tell an ugly story about America when it comes to massive gun ownership, the ease at which people can own guns including semi-automatic weapons, while 22 other developed countries combined have significantly less gun violence, in particular mass shootings and how other countries have changed their laws when mass shootings occur.

I've also had first hand experience with an individual who was looking to take the lives of others while having a mental breakdown, that people observed but took 30 days to report.

Most solutions I offer are pretty common but our current Senate won't agree to make any changes; however, there are things we can do to make a difference.
