Hi, I’m Bruce Handler and I’m a certified professional Executive/Leadership & Life Challenges Coach. I’ve been a Human Resources professional for over three decades and have experienced several interesting and unusual behaviors. As a Coach, I help people achieve their goals by changing the way they choose to think and act. I’m most interested in psychology, human behavior and habits and what it takes for people to lead happier, more satisfying and fulfilling lives. I’m here to share my realist views about how humans behave and why, and what you can do to tackle and deal with life's challenges. What is mindfulness? Mindfulness is all about paying attention and to pay attention you need to engage 1 or more of your 5 senses. When I discovered mindfulness, it became a game-changer and really helped me to reduce my stress and to live more in the moment; to stop thinking about past negative thoughts and regrets and to minimize my future thoughts of worry.
There is no need to meditate to be mindful. You can incorporate mindfulness into your daily activities, from brushing your teeth to walking. There is even a mindful way to eat.
I hope you will try to be mindful during just one activity and see how powerful it can be and how much it can make you feel good and more relaxed and less worrisome and to operate at a higher level.
