Dr. Joanne Knapp is an immensely skilled an experienced Independent Consultant to Agriculture. She brings expertise in science and marketing as well as a broad spectrum of knowledge about animal agriculture. On today's show she shares her story about how she got to become an independent consultant, who her customers hers and what things she's working on. She also has some really good ideas about some of the challenges the dairy industry faces due to legislation that is nearly 90 years old. Beyond that she has some great advice to young people pursuing graduate school work and what the industry needs more of in them. We also touch on the changing landscape that is nutrition work and consulting and how it'll change in her opinion in the future.
