To celebrate reaching 10 episodes I am extremely excited to bring you an extended episode! Please meet historian Rachel Chua. Rachael originally studied law at the London School of Economics but decided to switch her focus to history (good choice) and is now studying at University College London for her PhD. Her work explores China and in this episode we discuss the Qing Empire, the opium wars, western missionaries in China, Chinese medicine and the cultural revolution.
